Deep Women’s Microweight Champion Saori “Little Giant” Oshima and Deep Jewels Microweight Champion Aya Murakami will face off in a double title fight on May 26th at Deep Jewels 45 in Tokyo, Japan. The promotion announced the 97-pound champion versus champion matchup earlier today.
Oshima first claimed the Deep title in September 2020 at Deep: “97 Impact,” and she retained the belt with a quick submission of Mizuki Furuse in a November 2022 defence. Murakami captured the Deep Jewels microweight title in September with a Unanimous Decision victory at Deep Jewels 42.

Undefeated rising star Honoka Shigeta captured a notable title in her fourth pro fight tonight at Pancrase 341 in Tokyo, Japan. The 20-year-old, who has been competing professionally for just 11 months, defeated tough veteran Takayo Hashi to become the new Flyweight Queen of Pancrase Champion.
Also at Pancrase 341, the promotion crowned its inaugural Atomweight Queen of Pancrase Champion when Satomi “Sarami” Takano knocked out Sayako Fujita in just 48 seconds. In non-title flyweight action, Shizuka Sugiyama and Fumika Watanabe both earned wins in other women’s bouts.

Seika Izawa proved once again that she is one of the best female MMA fighters in the world by capturing her third championship title tonight at Deep Jewels 44 in Tokyo, Japan. Izawa submitted Si Yoon “Sankaru” Park with a second-round ninja choke to claim the Deep Jewels atomweight title.
Izawa, who also holds the Deep Jewels Strawweight Championship and Rizin FF Women’s Super Atomweight Championship, threatened with multiple submissions before finishing Park early in round two. Deep Jewels 44 featured several finishes including a brutal KO by Eun Bi “Libby” Cho.

A total of four women’s bouts including two championship fights are now official for Pancrase 341, which takes place on March 31st in Tokyo, Japan. Flyweight Queen of Pancrase Takayo Hashi puts her title on the line against undefeated 20-year-old challenger Honoka Shigeta, who is 3-0 in Pancrase.

Seika Izawa remained undefeated and scored a second-round submission victory tonight at Rizin Fighting Federation 45 in Saitama, Japan. The reigning Rizin FF Women’s Super Atomweight Champion finished the retiring Miyuu Yamamoto with a rear-naked choke in non-title 49kg action.
Izawa, who also holds the Deep Jewels Strawweight Championship, has her eyes set on potentially adding a third divisional title to her résumé. Following her win tonight, Izawa expressed an interest in competing for the Deep Jewels Atomweight Championship, which is currently held by Si Yoon Park.
