Machi Fukuda Defeats Haruka Hasegawa At Rizin FF: “Landmark Vol. 11”Two-time Deep Jewels interim strawweight title challenger Machi Fukuda improved her Rizin FF record to 3-0 with a dominant victory tonight at Rizin Fighting Federation: “Landmark Vol. 11” in Sapporo, Hokkaido, Japan. Fukuda easily defeated Pancrase champion Haruka “Salt” Hasegawa.

Right from the opening minute, Fukuda put Hasegawa on the mat, and she kept her there for nearly the entire duration of the fight. Hasegawa was never able to get anything going, and played defence against Fukuda’s various choke attempts, leading Fukuda to a Unanimous Decision win.

Shooto: “Colors 5” Live Play-By-Play & ResultsShooto held its fifth all-female Colors event tonight at Shinjuku FACE in Tokyo, Japan. The nine-fight Shooto: “Colors 5” card was headlined by a strawweight matchup between promotional veteran Momoka Hoshuyama and 17-year-old prospect Atsuhi Takada, who turned pro in December.

Seika Izawa vs Yu Jin Shin Title Fight Booked For “Super Rizin 4”After several months of uncertainty, Rizin FF Women’s Super Atomweight Champion Seika Izawa at last has her next title challenger. Izawa will face undefeated Road FC fighter Yu Jin Shin, who is coming off of a massive weight miss, at Rizin FF: “Super Rizin 4” on July 27th in Saitama, Japan.

Rizin officials announced the championship fight today following several failed attempts to book a fight between Izawa and Rena Kubota. Also confirmed for “Super Rizin 4” is a second women’s super atomweight matchup between Moeri “Black Diamond” Suda and Noeru “Noel” Narita.
