Jordan Nicole Gaza Submits Kathina Catron At XFN 11: Road To GloryPopular prospect Jordan Nicole “Ninja Princess” Gaza earned the first win of her professional MMA career on Friday night at XFL’s Xtreme Fight Night 11: “Road To Glory” in Catoosa, Oklahoma. Gaza submitted the previously unbeaten Kathina “Kill Switch” Catron with a rear-naked choke in round two.

Friday’s victory was a big one for Gaza, who dropped her professional debut via a razor-thin Split Decision against “12 Gauge” Paige VanZant in June. The 20-year-old Texas native hopes to maintain an active fighting schedule in 2013 and she already has two more bouts lined up in the coming months.

CFA Women's Featherweight Tournament Kicks Off On March 2Championship Fighting Alliance begins its inaugural women’s featherweight tournament on March 2nd at BankUnited Center in Coral Gables, Florida. The eight-woman tournament features many of the top female prospects at 145 pounds and each of the quarterfinal matchups has now been set.

Among those participating is former two-time amateur champion Taylor “No Mercy” Stratford, who competes alongside fellow pro debutants Kelsey De Santis and Ashlee Evans-Smith. The tournament also includes unbeaten rising stars Revelina “Nana” Berto and Peggy “The Daywalker” Morgan.
