Amber Stautzenberger To Face Lacey Schuckman At XKO 20Strawweight prospect Amber “The Apex Predator” Stautzenberger faces her most experienced opponent to date on November 23rd at Xtreme Knockout 20 in Arlington, Texas. Stautzenberger is set to face off against Invicta FC veteran Lacey “The Ladie” Schuckman in a 115-pound bout on the card.

Both fighters announced the matchup on Friday. Stautzenberger has won three straight fights this year and she most recently scored a Unanimous Decision victory over Glena “Heartless” Avila in April. Schuckman is 2-0 in 2013 and she is coming off of a 28-second submission victory in June.

TUF 18 Episode 10 Recap: Team Tate Takes 5-4 LeadThe semi-final round of The Ultimate Fighter 18 began tonight and former Strikeforce champ Miesha “Cupcake” Tate’s team once again took the lead in the standings. Team Tate’s Chris Holdsworth earned a quick submission win over Michael Wootten, who represented Team “Rowdy” Ronda Rousey.

Holdsworth’s victory was Team Tate’s fifth of the season, but team alliances will be tested during next week’s episode. In the second semi-final fight, Team Tate allies Sarah “Cheesecake” Moras and Julianna “The Venezuelan Vixen” Peña face off in a rematch from the pair’s first fight in April 2012.

Alexis Davis, Amanda Nunes Victorious At UFC Fight Night 31Jiu-jitsu ace Alexis “Ally-Gator” Davis showcased her underrated striking skills en route to her fourth straight victory tonight at UFC Fight Night 31: “Fight For The Troops 3” in Hopkinsville, Kentucky. Davis defeated former UFC title challenger Liz “Girl-Rilla” Carmouche by Unanimous Decision.

In earlier action, Amanda “Lioness” Nunes earned her second UFC victory with another dominant first-round stoppage win. Nunes mounted multi-time Muay Thai world champion Germaine “The Iron Lady” de Randamie early in the fight and she rained down elbows until the brief bout was stopped.

Chihiro Imoto Defeats Akari Nakamura At Rise 96 In TokyoDespite a last-minute opponent change, teen sensation Chihiro Imoto made a successful debut for the Rise kickboxing promotion on Monday night at Rise 96 in Tokyo, Japan. The 16-year-old star earned her 139th career win by defeating Akari “Eneos” Nakamura in a three-round professional bout.

Nakamura stepped into the fight on mere hours’ notice after Imoto’s original opponent, Tomomi Soda, fell ill and was removed from the card. Imoto wore Nakamura down with numerous strikes to the body throughout the action-packed fight en route to a Unanimous Decision victory on the scorecards.

Top 10 Fighter Rankings Update For November 2013Jessica “Evil” Eye kicked off her UFC career with a huge victory on October 19th at UFC 166: “Velasquez vs dos Santos 3” in Houston, Texas. Eye defeated former Strikeforce champ Sarah Kaufman in a closely-contested fight, and she now enters the top five in the 135-pound women’s rankings.

Earlier in October, Jessica “Jag” Aguilar remained on top of the 115-pound women’s strawweight ranks with a disappointing win over Megumi “Mega Megu” Fujii in a rematch that ended as a result of an eye poke. In men’s action, Cain Velasquez and Lyoto “The Dragon” Machida earned key wins.

TUF 18 Episode 9 Recap: Sarah Moras Submits Peggy MorganThe quarterfinal round of The Ultimate Fighter 18 concluded during tonight’s ninth episode, but only one of two planned fights took place as scheduled. Team Miesha “Cupcake” Tate fighter Sarah “Cheesecake” Moras submitted Team “Rowdy” Ronda Rousey member Peggy “The Daywalker” Morgan.

A quarterfinal bout between Team Rousey’s Anthony “Sharkbait” Gutierrez and Team Tate’s Cody Bollinger was scrapped when Bollinger was unable to make weight at 135 pounds. Gutierrez received a bye to the next round. Following the Moras-Morgan bout, the semi-final fights were announced.
