Jessica “Evil” Eye kicked off her UFC career with a huge victory on October 19th at UFC 166: “Velasquez vs dos Santos 3” in Houston, Texas. Eye defeated former Strikeforce champ Sarah Kaufman in a closely-contested fight, and she now enters the top five in the 135-pound women’s rankings.
Earlier in October, Jessica “Jag” Aguilar remained on top of the 115-pound women’s strawweight ranks with a disappointing win over Megumi “Mega Megu” Fujii in a rematch that ended as a result of an eye poke. In men’s action, Cain Velasquez and Lyoto “The Dragon” Machida earned key wins.
No Larissa Pacheco, Rob? She’s only 19 years old, she is 8-0, finished all her fights, and k.o.ed her last opponent in under 36 seconds last time… with a strength and conditioning coach, she might be a new star in the 135 lb. division.
Bantamweight is very competitive. Holly Holm dropped out of the top 15 as well. Both of them will climb up once they have some (more) notable wins.
