For the first time since July 2023, Rizin FF Women’s Super Atomweight Champion Seika Izawa is set to defend her title on November 3rd at Rizin Fighting Federation: “Landmark Vol. 12” in Kobe, Hyogo, Japan. Izawa faces Deep and Deep Jewels Microweight Champion Saori “Little Giant” Oshima.
Rizin FF officials announced the bout along with other matchups for the card today. Izawa has only made one title defence since the end of 2022 due to questionable matchmaking and injuries or weight issues with opponents. Also on the card, Noeru “Noel” Narita takes on Misaki “Iruka Umisaki” Suda.

Deep and Deep Jewels Microweight Champion Saori “Little Giant” Oshima halted a two-fight losing skid with an important victory tonight at Deep: “127 Impact” in Tokyo, Japan. Oshima defeated Moeri “Black Diamond” Suda for a second time in a rematch to potentially earn an atomweight title shot.
Despite her recent struggles, Oshima was able to control the majority of the grappling exchanges with rising star Suda, who entered the bout on a four-fight winning streak. Oshima may now be next in line to challenge Seika Izawa, who was on commentary, for Izawa’s Deep Jewels or Rizin FF title.

After narrowly coming up short in two prior interim title bids, Machi Fukuda at last captured championship gold tonight at Deep Jewels 50 in Tokyo, Japan. Fukuda avenged one of those past losses and edged out Si Woo “Korean Queen Bee” Park to become the new Deep Jewels Strawweight Champion.
Tonight’s headlining rematch featured far less action than the first meeting in May 2024, which ended with Park’s hand raised, but Fukuda’s increased offence in the final round propelled her to victory. Elsewhere, Keito “Kate Lotus” Oyama stopped veteran Emi Tomimatsu in the 50kg co-main event.

Deep Jewels came to New Pier Hall in Tokyo, Japan tonight with a 12-bout, all-female card. Deep Jewels 50 was topped by an undisputed strawweight championship rematch between Si Woo “Korean Queen Bee” Park and Machi Fukuda, whom Park narrowly defeated in their May 2024 bout.
In the 50kg co-main event, veteran grappler Emi Tomimatsu took on highly popular rising star Keito “Kate Lotus” Oyama, who had won four of her past six fights. Elsewhere, Yuko Kiryu battled Sarah in a 49kg super atomweight contest. MMARising.com has live play-by-play for the Deep Jewels 50 card.
