The Ultimate Fighting Championship returned to UFC Apex in Las Vegas, Nevada tonight for UFC Fight Night 229: “Dawson vs Green.” The event was headlined by a lightweight showdown between Grant “KGD” Dawson, who had not lost since April 2016, and veteran contender Bobby “King” Green.
Two of the top strawweights on the Deep Jewels roster will compete for the promotion’s interim 115-pound title on November 23rd at Deep Jewels 43 in Tokyo, Japan. Arisa Matsuda and Machi Fukuda, who faced each other as amateur fighters in December 2021, will rematch for the championship.

Undefeated strawweight prospect Machi Fukuda made a successful debut for Rizin Fighting Federation tonight at Rizin FF: “Landmark Vol. 6” in Nagoya, Aichi, Japan. Fukuda narrowly edged out Shooto Women’s Super Atomweight Champion Ayaka Watanabe via a hard-fought Split Decision.
