Two of the top female prospects on the Deep Jewels roster are set to collide on November 4th at Deep Jewels 2 in Tokyo, Japan. Highly-touted AACC fighter Megumi Sugimoto, an understudy of Megumi “Mega Megu” Fujii, takes on Sachiko Fujimori, who won her pro MMA debut in 49 seconds.
The 53kg matchup between Sugimoto and Fujimori was officially announced this weekend. Also confirmed for the card is a 48kg bout between veteran journeywoman Yukiko Seki, who has won six of her past ten fights, and the returning Madoka Ebihara, who competes for the first time in four years.
