Multi-time Muay Thai champion Valentina “Bullet” Shevchenko earned the biggest victory of her MMA career in tonight’s UFC on FOX 20 main event in Chicago, Illinois. Shevchenko scored a convincing Unanimous Decision win over former UFC champion Holly “The Preacher’s Daughter” Holm.
Save for a brief knockdown in the opening round, Shevchenko was in control of the five-round bout against Holm from start to finish, and her takedowns and counterstriking propelled her to victory. In strawweight action tonight, hometown star Felice “Lil’ Bulldog” Herrig quickly submitted Kailin Curran.
The Ultimate Fighting Championship came to the United Center in Chicago, Illinois tonight for UFC on FOX 20: “Holm vs Shevchenko.” The event was headlined by a women’s bantamweight bout between former UFC champ Holly “The Preacher’s Daughter” Holm and Valentina “Bullet” Shevchenko.
