Yamaguchi is set to face off against local favourite Gina “Conviction” Iniong, who won her promotional debut at PXC 41 in November.

Yamaguchi engaged in a closely-contested three-round bout against “Little” Patricia Vidonic at PXC 40 in October, but she came out on the wrong end of a razor-thin Split Decision. She now drops down to 105 pounds to battle Iniong, who is coming off of an impressive first-round TKO triumph.

Invicta FC Signs Prospects Jinh Yu Frey, Amanda Bobby CooperInvicta Fighting Championships continues to expand its roster with the additions of Sugar Creek Showdown champion Jinh Yu Frey and former multi-time amateur titleholder Amanda Bobby Cooper. Kailin Curran Defeats Yoo Jin Jung At PXC 42 In GuamUndefeated strawweight prospect Kailin Curran picked up her third pro win tonight at Pacific Xtreme Combat 42 in Mangilao, Guam. The Hawaiian native made it three-for-three inside the PXC cage by outpointing South Korean newcomer Yoo Jin Jung in a featured matchup on tonight’s card.

Jung was very aggressive early in the fight, but Curran wore her down with effective combinations of body kicks and punches. Jung ate some hard shots from Curran, but she stayed on her feet until the end of the action-packed bout. With the win, Curran set her sights on a future title fight.

The 18-year-old rising star posted a hard-fought Unanimous Decision win over Akari “Eneos” Nakamura in a rematch from August 2012.
