Brazilian standout Jéssica “Bate Estaca” Andrade is set to make her return to the Octagon on February 22nd at UFC Fight Night 61: “Bigfoot vs Mir” in Porto Alegre, Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil. Andrade meets hard-hitting striker Marion “The Belizean Bruiser” Reneau in a featured bantamweight bout.
Andrade has made a steady climb up the 135-pound women’s rankings with three straight victories inside the Octagon. She most recently submitted top prospect Larissa Moreira Pacheco at UFC Fight Night 51. Reneau made a successful UFC debut with a dominant decision win this past weekend.

Stepping in on short notice, Marion “The Belizean Bruiser” Reneau made a big statement in her Octagon debut tonight at UFC 182: “Jones vs Cormier” in Las Vegas, Nevada. Reneau battered and bloodied an overweight Alexis “Sneaky Zebra” Dufresne in what was intended to be a bantamweight bout.
Dufresne missed weight for the second straight time in her UFC career and she was a step behind Reneau throughout tonight’s one-sided fight. Reneau showcased her formidable standup skills in all three rounds of the fight en route to one of the most dominant decision wins in recent UFC history.

A bantamweight bout between former boxing world champion Holly “The Preacher’s Daughter” Holm and TUF 18 alum Raquel “Rocky” Pennington has been rebooked for UFC 184: “Weidman vs Belfort.” The event takes place on February 28th at Staples Center in Los Angeles, California.
MMAjunkie.com first reported on the rescheduled matchup earlier this week. Holm and Pennington were initially slated to face off at UFC 181, but Holm was forced to withdraw due to a neck injury. Pennington remained on the card and choked out CFA champ Ashlee Evans-Smith in the first round.
