Melsik “The Gun” Baghdasaryan vs Tucker “Top Gun” Lutz

Round 1:
Baghdasaryan went high with two early head kick attempts. Lutz landed a leg kick and that led to an exchange of kicks to the body. Lutz took Baghdasaryan down against the cage and prevented him from getting back to his feet. Baghdasaryan finally stood in the final 15 seconds and Lutz held him against the fence. 10-9 Lutz.

Round 2:
Baghdasaryan hurt Lutz with a left uppercut to the body and three kicks, but Lutz recovered and Baghdasaryan landed two jabs. Time was called when Lutz was punched in the groin. The fight continued and Baghdasaryan landed a nice one-two. He jabbed and threw a knee to the body. Another hard jab snapped Lutz’s head back, but he managed to take Baghdasaryan down with 30 seconds to go. 10-9 Baghdasaryan.

Round 3:
Time was called right away in the final round when Lutz was poked badly in his right eye. Action resumed and Lutz took Baghdasaryan down against the cage. Lutz moved to a seated back control and looked to set up a rear-naked choke. Baghdasaryan scrambled up to his feet and landed two hard knees to the body. The fighters separated and Baghdasaryan landed a spinning back kick to the body and a lunging left hook. Lutz backed up and Baghdasaryan landed a left hook and a knee. 10-9 Baghdasaryan due to damage.

Winner: Melsik Baghdasaryan by Unanimous Decision (29-28, 29-28, 29-28) after three rounds. He improves to 8-2-0.

 

Victoria Dudakova vs Istela Nunes

Round 1:
Dudakova closed the distance with a quick combination and dove at Nunes’s ankle in order to take her down. Nunes lost her balance and tried to post with her left arm, which either dislocated at the elbow or snapped entirely. Nunes screamed out in pain and the brief fight was waved off.

Winner: Victoria Dudakova by TKO (Arm Injury) at 0:34 of round one. She improves to 7-0-0.

 

Melquizael “Melk” Costa vs Austin “Lights Out” Lingo

Round 1:
Lingo pressed forward early on, but Costa countered effectively with two leg kicks and lead right hooks. He scored with two front kicks to Lingo’s body and Lingo landed a hard jab. Costa threw two head kicks that were partially blocked, then hurt Lingo with a pair of liver kicks. Costa alternated between head and liver kicks as Lingo retreated and circled to his left. Costa landed body kicks at will including a spinning back kick in the final seconds. 10-9 Costa.

Round 2:
Costa turned Lingo around with a leg kick and closed in with two short left uppercuts. He scored with two body kicks, but Lingo dropped him to a knee with a counter jab. Costa stood and threw another hard body kick. He landed a jab and backed Lingo up with a left cross. Costa attacked the body with two kicks and a knee. 10-9 Costa.

Round 3:
Costa kneed Lingo in the body and tried to throw him to the mat. Lingo stood and Costa landed two strong body kicks. He countered Lingo’s forward pressure with a jumping knee. Costa took Lingo down into a partial back control and hunted for a rear-naked choke. Lingo scrambled up to his feet and Costa got him back down into full back control. Lingo escaped from a rear-naked choke and turned over on to his back. Costa threw two elbows from the top and kneed Lingo’s legs as Lingo got to his feet. He dragged Lingo down and rolled into an Anaconda Choke, but Lingo made it to the bell. 10-9 Costa.

Winner: Melquizael Costa by Unanimous Decision (30-26, 30-27, 30-27) after three rounds. He improves to 20-6-0.

 

Evan “The Phenom” Elder vs Genaro “Rayadito” Valdéz

Round 1:
Elder scored with a big right hook and jumped on a guillotine choke right away. Valdéz dropped to his back and spun free from the choke, then rose to his feet. Both men landed leg kicks and Valdéz connected with a right hand over the top. Jabs were exchanged and Valdéz began to have more success with his punches. 10-9 Elder by a slim margin.

Round 2:
Elder scored a knockdown early in the second round and he pressured Valdéz with jabs until Valdéz dropped Elder with a counter right hook. A dazed Elder got back to his feet and recovered, and time was called when Valdéz was poked in the eye. Action resumed after two minutes and Elder landed a calf kick, but Valdéz countered with a lead left hook. The fighters traded leg kicks and Valdéz landed an overhand right. Hard right hooks landed for both men late in the round. 10-9 Valdéz.

Round 3:
Elder backed Valdéz up with a hard jab and followed with a right hook in the final round. Elder jabbed and pressed the action in the exchanges, and he avoided an uppercut from Valdéz. More jabs scored for Elder and he used them to set up a right hook to the body. Valdéz landed two strong calf kicks, but Elder pushed him down to the mat. Valdéz stood and Elder landed a right hook and a head kick. 10-9 Elder.

Winner: Evan Elder by Unanimous Decision (30-26, 29-28, 29-28) after three rounds. He improves to 8-2-0.

 

Azat “Kazakh” Maksum vs Tyson Nam

Round 1:
Maksum landed a left hand in the opening minute and Nam countered with a straight right. Maksum began to attack Nam’s body with kicks and he landed two right hooks. In the final seconds, Maksum briefly took Nam down and he held back control on the feet before the bell. 10-9 Maksum.

Round 2:
In the second round, Maksum jabbed and he stepped in with a knee. Hard punches were exchanged and Maksum landed a left hook. Nam jabbed and missed with a right hook which was countered by one from Maksum that landed. Maksum continued to attack the body with kicks and a knee, and he landed a left hook during an exchange. Maksum jumped in with a knee before time expired. 10-9 Maksum.

Round 3:
Nam pressed the action in the final round and he closed in with jabs and a few right hands. Maksum circled to his left and landed a knee, but Nam cracked him with a counter hook and followed with more short punches after tying Maksum up in a clinch. Late in the round, Nam landed a hard leg kick and a right hook. Maksum answered with a suplex before the end of the fight. 10-9 Nam.

Winner: Azat Maksum by Split Decision (29-28, 29-28, 28-29) after three rounds. He improves to 17-0-0.

 

Alex Munoz vs Carl “The Anishinaabe Kid” Deaton

Round 1:
Deaton landed a lead left hook and Munoz answered with a knee. He backed Deaton up with a straight left, but Deaton recovered quickly and he landed another lead left hook. Munoz hurt Deaton with an overhand left, but Deaton regained his composure and threw a flying knee in response. He threw one more knee late in the largely uneventful round. 10-9 Munoz.

Round 2:
Munoz stunned Deaton with two left hands in the second round, but he did not follow up. Deaton connected with a right cross and then a short uppercut. A hard jab and a one-two landed for Munoz, followed by a body kick. Deaton jumped in with two right hooks and stuffed a takedown at the bell. Another close and lacklustre round. 10-9 Munoz, barely.

Round 3:
Munoz dropped Deaton with a lead left hook in round three and followed up with a series of punches on the ground. Deaton narrowly survived and Munoz continued to land punches. When Deaton stood against the cage, Munoz slammed him down. Deaton used a kimura grip to get back to his feet and punches were exchanged just before the bell. Clear 10-9 for Munoz after the close first two rounds.

Winner: Alex Munoz by Unanimous Decision (30-26, 30-27, 29-28) after three rounds. He improves to 7-2-0.

 

Ailin “Fiona” Perez vs Ashlee “Rebel Girl” Evans-Smith

Round 1:
Evans-Smith landed an early right hand and Perez responded with a three-punch combination. She took Evans-Smith down and pinned her against the base of the cage while landing right hands to her face. More big right hands landed for Perez as Evans-Smith got to her feet. Perez scored with a knee and took Evans-Smith down into side control. She mounted Evans-Smith and dropped two hard elbows. Evans-Smith was able to power out from the bottom and got to her feet very briefly. Perez put her on the mat again and Evans-Smith stood once more. 10-8 Perez.

Round 2:
The second round began with Perez landing two body kicks and she took Evans-Smith down into side control. As Evans-Smith stood, Perez took her back. Evans-Smith turned into the clinch and both women landed combinations before Perez scored a takedown. Perez punched from the top in side control and tried to take EVans-Smith’s back again. Evans-Smith escaped from a back clinch and Perez landed a one-two. 10-9 Perez.

Round 3:
Perez immediately took Evans-Smith down from a body lock. Evans-Smith stood and Perez held her against the cage. She swept out Evans-Smith’s leg and landed left hands from a top-side crucifix. Evans-Smith kicked off of the cage, but Perez mounted her. Evans-Smith exploded out and stood up, only to be kneed in the face. Perez slammed her down and Evans-Smith got to her feet. She landed a right hook and Perez secured yet another takedown into half-guard. She punched from back control and Evans-Smith escaped to her feet shortly before the bell. 10-9 Perez, if not another 10-8.

Winner: Ailin Perez by Unanimous Decision (30-25, 30-25, 30-26) after three rounds. She improves to 8-2-0.
