Matt “The Immortal” Brown vs Court “The Crusher” McGee

Round 1:
McGee took Brown’s back and suplexed him down to the mat, then sunk in one hook. Brown battled back to his feet and McGee kneed his thigh. The fighters separated and traded leg kicks. Seconds later, Brown landed a massive right hand that sent McGee crashing to the mat and ended the fight.

Winner: Matt Brown by KO (Punch) at 4:09 of round one. He improves to 24-19-0.

 

Karl Williams vs Chase “The Vanilla Gorilla” Sherman

Round 1:
Sherman stuffed an early takedown attempt from Williams, who landed a right hand on the break. He got Sherman down on his second try and Sherman stood up almost immediately. He landed a left hook and a knee as he pushed Williams away. A leg kick landed for Sherman, but Williams countered with a combination and an overhand right. Punches were exchanged and Williams took Sherman down into half-guard. Williams landed a series of left hands as Sherman got back to his feet. 10-9 Williams.

Round 2:
Williams landed a right-left combo in the second round and he held Sherman against the cage. Sherman broke free and he landed two leg kicks. Williams landed a lead left hook and Sherman spun him around with a leg kick. Another hard leg kick scored for Sherman and he stuffed a takedown. Sherman jabbed and time was called when he was kneed in the groin. Action resumed after 90 seconds and the round came to a close. 10-9 Sherman.

Round 3:
Williams opened the final round with a right hook and he followed with two lead left hands. Sherman walked forward and Williams snapped his head back with a jab. Williams continued to land hard jabs, but Sherman countered a takedown attempt with a knee and three elbows to the side of Williams’s head. The fighters separated and Sherman landed a leg kick after Williams connected with two jabs. He continued to throw jabs late in the round. 10-9 Williams. Not a good fight.

Winner: Karl Williams by Unanimous Decision (30-27, 30-27, 29-28) after three rounds. He improves to 9-1-0.

 

Douglas “D’Silva” Silva de Andrade vs Cody “The Spartan” Stamann

Round 1:
Silva de Andrade circled and kicked at Stamann’s leg during the first half of round one. Stamann pressed forward, but he was unable to land anything significant and eventually took Silva de Andrade down. Silva de Andrade landed a grazing illegal upkick from the bottom and time was called. He was not docked a point and the fight was incorrectly restarted on the feet. Stamann landed a hard jab and Silva de Andrade resumed circling. He briefly took Stamann down and the fighters traded strikes after returning to their feet. Silva de Andrade landed a spinning backfist and three knees from a Thai clinch. 10-9 Silva de Andrade.

Round 2:
Silva de Andrade used his jab to keep Stamann at bay in the second round as Stamann tried unsuccessfully to clinch. Two more leg kicks landed for Silva de Andrade, but Stamann countered with a hard right hook. Silva de Andrade attempted a head kick that was blocked. Stamann shot in for a takedown and Silva de Andrade defended until the end of the round. 10-9 Silva de Andrade.

Round 3:
In the final round, Silva de Andrade landed a right hook and Stamann countered with a jumping knee to the body. He followed with a lead left hook and then landed another left hand as Silva de Andrade took a step forward. Stamann scored with a one-two and he wobbled Silva de Andrade with a lead left hook. Silva de Andrade fell after Stamann landed more punches, but he recovered on the ground and held Stamann in his guard. Stamann landed an elbow and took partial back control. Silva de Andrade rolled to his back and regained full guard. He kicked Stamann off and stood up. Stamann landed a left hook and the fighters traded lead left hands late in the round. Silva de Andrade threw a flying knee in the dying seconds. 10-9 Stamann.

Winner: Douglas Silva de Andrade by Unanimous Decision (29-28, 29-28, 29-28) after three rounds. He improves to 29-5-0, 1 NC.

 

Mandy “Monster” Böhm vs Ji Yeon “Firefist” Kim

Round 1:
Kim stunned Böhm with her first punch of the fight, but Böhm hopped on her back and pulled Kim to the mat with a rear-naked choke attempt. Kim defended well and she turned over into Böhm’s guard. Böhm held her in a loose triangle choke and Kim escaped, then took Böhm’s back and secured a no-hooks rear-naked choke. She lost the position and Böhm reversed into Kim’s guard. Böhm moved to side control in the final 30 seconds and she landed an elbow before the bell. Close round. 10-9 Böhm.

Round 2:
Böhm landed a leg kick and Kim cracked her with a counter left hook. Böhm clinched and landed two elbows while holding Kim against the fence. Kim reversed the clinch and swept out Böhm’s leg. She landed on top in Böhm’s half-guard. Böhm regained full guard and she tied Kim up from the bottom. Nothing transpired and the fighters were stood up. Kim landed two right hands and Böhm answered with a leg kick. Kim countered a Böhm takedown with a guillotine choke, which she maintained until the bell. After the bell had sounded, Kim kicked Böhm off of her. She was docked one point for the foul just before round three began. 9-9.

Round 3:
Kim held Böhm against the fence in back control and kneed her in the thigh. She threw one knee to Böhm’s eye while Böhm had her hands on the mat and time was called. Böhm immediately indicated that she could not see. The fight was therefore waved off. After the fight had already been stopped, Kim was deducted a second point for the illegal knee even though it was deemed to be an accidental foul. 9-9.

Winner: Mandy Böhm by Technical Split Decision (28-27, 28-27, 27-28) at 1:55 of round three. She improves to 8-2-0, 1 NC.

 

Bryan “Pooh Bear” Battle vs “Gifted” Gabriel Green

Round 1:
Green charged at Battle right away and threw quick punches as Battle backed up to the cage. Battle planted his feet and countered with a right hook to Green’s jaw that sent him crashing to the canvas and ended the fight in quick fashion.

Winner: Bryan Battle by KO (Punch) at 0:14 of round one. He improves to 9-2-0.

 

Tainara “Thai Panther” Lisboa vs Jessica-Rose “Jessy Jess” Clark

Round 1:
Lisboa landed an early counter right hook and Clark responded with one of her own. She landed a leg kick and Lisboa fired off a series of quick punches. Clark clinched and Lisboa landed a knee to her body. She held Lisboa in place until Lisboa reversed the clinch. She used a hip toss to throw Clark to the mat and worked from the top in her half-guard. Lisboa landed short left hands to Clark’s face until the end of the round. 10-9 Lisboa.

Round 2:
Clark scored with a right hook in the second round, but Lisboa hurt her with a combination that finished with a right hand. Clark clinched in order to buy time to recover. Clark briefly tripped Lisboa, but Lisboa stood and landed a knee on the break. She followed with a quick one-two and then a straight right. Lisboa backed Clark up with a right cross and then swarmed on her with more punches until Clark clinched. The fighters were separated and Lisboa landed a late combination. 10-9 Lisboa.

Round 3:
Clark took Lisboa down in the final round, but Lisboa cut her with an elbow from the bottom and Clark offered very little offence from the top. She finally landed two elbows and a cut was opened beside Lisboa’s eye. Lisboa threw up her legs for an armbar, but Clark pulled her arm out. Lisboa scrambled out from the bottom and she took Clark’s back when Clark dove at her ankles in search of another takedown. Lisboa locked on a rear-naked choke and Clark tapped out immediately.

Winner: Tainara Lisboa by Submission (Rear-Naked Choke) at 4:20 of round three. She improves to 6-2-0.
