Lucas “The Lion” Alexander vs Steven “Ocho” Peterson

Round 1:
Alexander stayed at range and used jabs and calf kicks to prevent Peterson from closing the distance. He cut Peterson along his hairline with a lead left hook and followed with another calf kick. Alexander flurried with punches and finished with a kick to the body. Late in the round, Alexander dropped Peterson with a counter left hook as Peterson stepped forward. 10-9 Alexander.

Round 2:
Alexander hurt Peterson with two leg kicks to begin round two, and Peterson switched stances. He began to limp and Alexander targeted the leg with more kicks each time Peterson put it forward. Alexander began to attack Peterson’s left leg even when Peterson was in the southpaw stance. He prevented Peterson from taking him down and Peterson continued to favour his injured leg. The crowd began to boo the relative lack of action and Peterson fell while throwing a body kick. 10-9 Alexander.

Round 3:
The final round began with Alexander landing two body kicks. Time was called when Alexander was kicked in the groin. The fight resumed after a minute and Peterson shot in for a takedown. He fell to the ground and Alexander dropped heavy punches from the top. Alexander stood over Peterson and landed an axe kick to his body. The fight returned to the feet and Peterson walked forward with jabs. Alexander landed another calf kick and he dropped Peterson with a right hook. Alexander forced Peterson to get back to his feet and punches were exchanged. Alexander threw a head kick in the final seconds. 10-9 Alexander.

Winner: Lucas Alexander by Unanimous Decision (30-27, 30-27, 30-27) after three rounds. He improves to 8-3-0.

 

Trevin “The Problem” Giles vs Preston “Pressure” Parsons

Round 1:
Giles tied Parsons up in a clinch against the cage. The fighters separated and Giles landed a lead left hook and a quick one-two. After another clinch, Giles landed a hard jab. He stuffed a takedown and landed a hammerfist to the side of Parsons’s head. Back on the feet, Parsons rocked Giles with a right hook and then took him down into back control. Giles fought off a rear-naked choke, but Parsons mounted him and then threatened with a second rear-naked choke attempt. He transitioned to an armbar, but lost the position and Giles wound up on top in side control. Parsons worked back to his feet and the back-and-forth round ended in a clinch. 10-9 Parsons.

Round 2:
In the second round, Giles used his jab to keep Parsons at bay until Parsons clinched and took him down. Giles got back to his feet and he landed two hooks to Parsons’s body. Parsons fatigued and Giles landed two more jabs, but Parsons connected with a right hook. Giles sprawled out of a takedown attempt and he took partial back control. Parsons rolled to his back and Giles closed out the round on top with punches from Parsons’s half-guard. 10-9 Giles.

Round 3:
After trading jabs, both men landed four-punch combinations and Parsons finished with a calf kick. He took Giles down and threw knees when Giles stood back up. On the break, Giles landed two jabs and an overhand right. He elbowed the side of Parsons’s head when Parsons dropped levels, but Parsons got him down to the ground. He moved to mount and locked on an arm-triangle choke, but the cage wall prevented him from tightening it. Parsons switched to an armbar and gave up top position. Parsons threw up his legs for a triangle choke and Giles dropped hammerfists from the top. He closed out the fight with two elbows to the side of Parsons’s face. 10-9 Parsons by a slim margin.

Winner: Trevin Giles by Split Decision (29-28, 29-28, 28-29) after three rounds. He improves to 16-4-0.

 

C.J. Vergara vs Daniel “Miojo” Lacerda da Silva

Round 1:
Lacerda landed a strong right hook early on and both men connected with left hooks during an exchange. More left hooks were traded and Lacerda hurt Vergara with a spinning wheel kick. Lacerda stumbled and ran away as Lacerda chased after him with punches. Lacerda landed another spinning wheel kick and he continued to punish Vergara with punches. The fight could have been stopped multiple times, but it was allowed to continue and Lacerda took Vergara down. He threatened with a rear-naked choke, but Vergara managed to break his grip. The fight returned to the feet and Lacerda slowed down, but he still landed a flurry of punches to Vergara’s body. 10-8 Lacerda.

Round 2:
Vergara jabbed in round two and he landed a left cross. Lacerda threw a spinning backfist and he pulled Vergara down into a calf slicer on the ground. Vergara turned over and he landed punches and elbows from the top in Lacerda’s half-guard. Vergara locked on an arm-triangle choke and he kneed Lacerda in the body. Lacerda turned to his right and escaped from the choke, but Vergara battered him with elbows to the head and body from top position. He continued to land elbows and hammerfists until the fight was stopped.

Winner: C.J. Vergara by TKO (Elbows & Punches) at 4:04 of round two. He improves to 11-4-1.

 

Victor “El Magnifico” Altamirano vs Vinicius “Fenômeno” Salvador

Round 1:
The southpaw fighters exchanged leg kicks early in the fight and Altamirano countered Salvador’s looping punches with a takedown into his full guard. Salvador eventually worked back to his feet against the cage and separated from the clinch. He missed with a cartwheel kick and Altamirano threw a spinning wheel kick that landed. The fighters clinched and Altamirano landed a body kick, but Salvador cracked him with a counter hook. 10-9 Altamirano.

Round 2:
Salvador countered a spinning backfist attempt from Altamirano by taking his back, but he was not able to get him down. The fighters separated and Altamirano landed a spinning back elbow. Salvador rolled through one takedown attempt and then stuffed another one. He punished Altamirano with hammerfists on the ground and then cracked him with a left hook when the fighters returned to their feet. Salvador landed a one-two and he followed with an overhand left. His punches werw wild, but Salvador continued to back Altamirano up with looping left hands and leg kicks. Altamirano stunned him with a counter right hook late in the round. 10-9 Salvador.

Round 3:
Altamirano opened the final round with a head kick and he took Salvador down. Altamirano postured up and Salvador used the opportunity to kick him off and return to his feet. Altamirano secured another takedown and Salvador was warned for grabbing the cage as he tried to stand up. Altamirano landed two elbows and Salvador kicked him off. Back on the feet, Altamirano landed a knee to the body. He ducked under a cartwheel kick from Salvador and landed a spinning backfist. Salvador countered a jab from Altamirano with looping left hooks. Altamirano cut Salvador near his right eye with a left hook and Salvador took him down just before the bell. 10-9 Altamirano.

Winner: Victor Altamirano by Unanimous Decision (29-28, 29-28, 29-28) after three rounds. He improves to 12-2-0.
