Sergey “Honda” Khandozhko vs Dwight “The Body Snatcher” Grant

Round 1:
Khandozhko pressed forward in the opening minute and Grant landed a hard right hook. Khandozhko dropped him with a lead left hand, but Grant got back to his feet and he landed two powerful hooks during an exchange. Khandozhko remained the aggressor, but Grant landed counter left hooks while circling to his left. Khandozhko jabbed, but Grant floored him with a right hook to the temple. He tried to finish Khandozhko with punches on the ground, but a badly dazed Khandozhko held on and secured a clinch against the fence after standing up. Grant landed a back elbow strike and a left hook to break free from the clinch before the bell. 10-9 Grant.

Round 2:
In the second round, Khandozhko landed a right hook and a body kick, but Grant countered a leg kick with an overhand right that knocked Khandozhko down. He rose to his feet and Grant landed a left-right combo. Two lead left hands landed for Grant as Khandozhko tried to close the distance with jabs. Grant landed a right hook and Khandozhko fired back with a liver kick. Khandozhko landed a left hook and a jab, then rocked Grant with another left hand. Grant dropped to his knees after a follow-up left hook from Khandozhko. He managed to get back to his feet, but staggered backwards as Khandozhko swarmed with punches and the fight was stopped.

Winner: Sergey Khandozhko by TKO (Punches) at 4:15 of round two. He improves to 27-6-1.

 

Tyson Pedro vs Isaac “Hurricane Ike” Villanueva

Round 1:
Pedro struck first with a leg kick, but action remained very sparse in the opening two minutes as neither fighter committed to any significant offence. Time was called when Villanueva was kicked in the groin, but the fight resumed quickly and Pedro landed a body kick. He backed Villanueva up with a one-two, but then landed a hard knee directly to Villanueva’s groin and time was called as Villanueva collapsed in visible pain. He was able to continue after a delay of almost two minutes and Pedro was warned for the foul. Villanueva came up short with a one-two and Pedro scored with a chopping leg kick. He landed two more hard leg kicks and Villanueva yelped in pain. Late in the round, Pedro landed two hard punches and he dropped Villanueva with a leg kick. Villanueva sat up against the cage and Pedro finished him off with three uppercuts.

Winner: Tyson Pedro by TKO (Leg Kick & Punches) at 4:55 of round one. He improves to 8-3-0.

 

Qileng “Mongolian Murderer” Aori vs Cameron “Camchida” Else

Round 1:
Aori landed two strong leg kicks and a left-right combo to open the fight, which prompted Else to clinch. Aori reversed it and tripped Else to the mat, but Else worked back to his feet and he avoided a flying knee attempt from Aori. Seconds later, Aori dropped Else with a left hook to the liver. Else covered up on the ground as Aori landed more punches. When Else gave up his back, Aori battered him with non-stop right hands to the side of his face until referee Keith Peterson finally stopped the fight.

Winner: Qileng Aori by TKO (Punches) at 2:48 of round one. He improves to 23-11-0.

 

Preston “Pressure” Parsons vs Evan “The Phenom” Elder

Round 1:
Parsons avoided a spinning backfist from Elder and took him down very early in the fight. Elder shook him off of his back and took top position, but Parsons kicked him off and rose to his feet. He held Elder against the cage and landed knees to his body. Elder prevented him from scoring a takedown and he escaped from the clinch. Parsons countered a body kick with an overhand right, but Elder threw two more kicks to the body and a right hand of his own. Parsons got him down and passed to half-guard. He locked on an arm-triangle choke and used it to pass to mount, but Elder escaped once. Parsons landed a hard elbow and secured a second arm-triangle, but Elder gave the thumbs-up sign and he made it to the bell. 10-9 Parsons.

Round 2:
The second round began with a takedown from Parsons, who immediately attempted another arm-triangle choke. When Elder escpaed, Parsons landed an elbow from the top in mount. Elder powered out from the bottom and got back to his feet, but he could not stay there for long and Parsons put him on the mat once more. He moved to mount and landed short elbows and punches to Elder’s face. Elder gave up his back and Parsons attempted a rear-naked choke. Elder fought it off and spun over into Parsons’s guard. Parsons swept from the bottom and trapped Elder in a tight arm-triangle choke that had Elder in some trouble. He refused to submit and Parsons let go of the choke, allowing Elder to briefly take top position himself. The fighters stood and the round came to a close. 10-9 Parsons.

Round 3:
Elder stuffed a takedown attempt from Parsons to begin round three. After the fighters separated, Parsons landed a leg kick. Elder threw front kicks to try to keep him at bay, but none of them landed and Parsons shot in for a takedown. Elder stayed on his feet and he landed a counter uppercut. He got Prasons down, but Parsons immediately swept and took top position in Elder’s guard. Parsons landed two elbows and a right hand, then passed to mount. He landed three more elbows, but Elder was able to get back to half-guard momentarily. Parsons mounted him again and cut Elder’s cheek and left eyebrow with elbows. He postured up with punches as Elder covered up until the final bell. 10-9 Parsons, if not a 10-8.

Winner: Preston Parsons by Unanimous Decision (30-26, 30-27, 30-27) after three rounds. He improves to 10-3-0.

 

Philipe “Monstro” Lins vs Marcin Prachnio

Round 1:
The fighters exchanged hard leg kicks during the opening minute and Prachnio knocked Lins off-balance with a kick to the body. Lins regained his footing and he took Prachnio down. Prachnio got back to his feet and he landed another body kick. Lins blocked a head kick and he clinched in search of a takedown. Prachnio defended well and broke free from Lins’s grasp. After a brief punching exchange, Prachnio stuffed another takedown and he landed a knee in the final seconds. Back-and-forth round. 10-9 Prachnio.

Round 2:
Prachnio cut Lins on his left cheek with a counter right hand early in the second round, but Lins hurt him with a right hook in return and he attempted a standing guillotine choke. Prachnio recovered and he landed knees in a clinch, then dropped levels for a takedown attempt against the cage. Lins fought him off and a fatigued Prachnio backed up. A three-punch combo and a follow-up hook to the body landed for Lins, who clinched with Prachnio against the cage. He attacked Prachnio’s body with punches late in the round. 10-9 Lins.

Round 3:
Lins got Prachnio down to a knee against the cage in the early stages of the final round. Prachnio stood up and landed two laboured knee strikes, but Lins easily dumped him to the mat again. Prachnio worked back up and landed a front kick before Lins scored a third takedown. Lins punched from the top, but Prachnio was able to kick him off and stand up. Lins kept the pressure on an exhausted Prachnio, and he took his back in a clinch, but he was not able to dump Prachnio to the ground before the final bell. 10-9 Lins.

Winner: Philipe Lins by Unanimous Decision (29-28, 29-28, 29-28) after three rounds. He improves to 15-5-0.

 

Mike “The Truth” Jackson vs Dean “The Sniper” Barry

Round 1:
Barry threw winging overhand rights to begin the fight and Jackson countered with lead left hands. A right hook connected for Barry and Jackson stumbled briefly. Time was called soon after when Barry landed a spinning back kick to Jackson’s groin. The fight continued after a lengthy delay and Barry landed a side kick to the body. He landed an overhand right and backed Jackson up with more punches including a right hook that dropped him. Jackson weathered the storm and stood up, and Barry continued to throw punches and a flying knee. Time was called again when Barry gouged Jackson in his right eye. Jackson was not able to continue and the brief and bizarre fight was waved off.

Winner: Mike Jackson by DQ (Eye Gouge) at 3:52 of round one. He improves to 1-1-0, 1 NC.
