Gerald “GM3” Meerschaert vs Dustin Stoltzfus

Round 1:
Meerschaert landed a hard left cross to begin the fight and he followed with a liver kick. Meerschaert took Stoltzfus down and methodically passed to mount, but Stoltzfus immediately regained half-guard and then stood up. Meerschaert used a combination omoplata and heel hook attempt to pull Stoltzfus back down, but Stoltzfus escaped from both and he wound up on top, where he landed short elbows. Meerschaert transitioned to a lightning-fast armbar from the bottom, but Stoltzfus escaped from it and he finished the round with more short elbows from the top. Back-and-forth round. 10-9 Meerschaert by a slim margin.

Round 2:
Stoltzfus took Meerschaert down one minute into the second round and Meerschaert briefly attempted a guillotine choke from the bottom. Stoltzfus threw very few strikes, but he was able to pass to half-guard and landed one elbow. When Meerschaert tried to get to his feet, Stoltzfus used a modified Peruvian Necktie to keep him down. Meerschaert was able to escape quickly, but Stoltzfus landed elbows from the top before the bell. 10-9 Stoltzfus.

Round 3:
Meerschaert knocked Stoltzfus off-balance with a counter left hook to begin the final round and Stoltzfus responded with a takedown. Meerschaert held him in a guillotine choke until Stoltzfus passed to side control and the fighters stood up. Stoltzfus took Meerschaert back down into side control and this time Meerschaert swept into top position. Stoltzfus attacked with a heel hook from the bottom and Meerschaert spun free. He landed left hands to the side of Stoltzfus’s face and then took his back. Within seconds, Meerschaert locked on a tight rear-naked choke and Stoltzfus tapped out.

Winner: Gerald Meerschaert by Submission (Rear-Naked Choke) at 2:58 of round three. He improves to 34-14-0.

 

Justin “Bad Man” Tafa vs Harry “The Hurricane” Hunsucker

Round 1:
Tafa countered an early leg kick with an overhand left that knocked Hunsucker down. Hunsucker stood up and Tafa took his back in a clinch against the fence. Hunsucker countered with a standing kimura that he used to pull Tafa down to the mat. Tafa managed to free his arm and he stood up, but Hunsucker tagged him with a combination. Seconds later, Tafa shrugged off a Hunsucker takedown attempt and floored him with a head kick. Even though Hunsucker blocked the kick with both forearms, it still had enough force to badly rock him and the fight was stopped.

Winner: Justin Tafa by TKO (Head Kick) at 1:53 of round one. He improves to 5-3-0.

 

Melissa Gatto vs Sijara “SarJ” Eubanks

Round 1:
Eubanks closed the distance and attempted a takedown in the opening seconds. Gatto reversed it on the way down, but Eubanks rolled through and took top position in Gatto’s guard. She held Gatto against the base of the cage and landed short elbows as Gatto tried to posture for a triangle choke. Eubanks pulled her head out and Gatto tried unsuccessfully to scramble up to her feet. Gatto attempted a kimura from the bottom and she tried to take Eubanks’s back. Eubanks finished the round with right hands from the top. 10-9 Eubanks.

Round 2:
Gatto landed quick jabs to begin round two, but Eubanks clinched with head and tried to take the fight to the ground. Gatto stayed on her feet and she landed a nice one-two on the break. Eubanks dumped her to the mat, but Gatto swept from the bottom and she took top position in Eubanks’s half-guard. A fatigued Eubanks held on from the bottom as Gatto peppered her with short right hands to the face. She switched to elbows and then hunted for a modified Brabo choke late in the round. Eubanks defended and Gatto landed hammerfists. 10-9 Gatto.

Round 3:
Gatto jabbed and mixed in leg kicks in the second round. Seconds later, she dropped Eubanks with a front kick to the body. Eubanks covered up as Gatto followed with punches on the ground and the fight was stopped.

Winner: Melissa Gatto by TKO (Front Kick To The Body & Punches) at 0:45 of round three. She improves to 8-0-2.

 

Charles “Air” Jourdain vs Andre “Mr. Highlight” Ewell

Round 1:
Quick leg kicks were exchanged right away and that continued throughout the opening minute. Ewell landed a punching flurry to the head and body, then circled away to avoid a lunging left hook from Jourdain. Ewell mixed up his strikes with jabs and front kicks while switching stances. Jourdain landed a lead left hook and followed with a right. Both men landed left hooks and Jourdain jumped in with a kick to the liver. Ewell landed a quick flurry and Jourdain slipped while attempting a flying knee. Ewell took top position in Jourdain’s guard, but Jourdain escaped to his feet and landed a knee to the body. Close round. 10-9 Ewell.

Round 2:
Jourdain scored with leg kicks and a big left hook early in the second round as Ewell slowed down. Jourdain chopped away with leg kicks and then went high with a head kick. Ewell caught a kick, but Jourdain countered with a left cross and a second leg kick after freeing his leg. Ewell threw single strikes in return and Jourdain grazed with an overhand left. He flurried with punches and finished with a knee, then cracked Ewell with two hard left hooks soon after. Ewell wilted against the cage as Jourdain landed more punches and knees. When Ewell stumbled forward and fell to the mat, Jourdain took top position and he landed punches before attempting a late-round guillotine choke. 10-8 Jourdain.

Round 3:
Jourdain remained the aggressor with quick punches and leg kicks in the final round. Ewell struggled to land anything and Jourdain scored with another flurry. Ewell finally landed a head kick that backed Jourdain up momentarily. He recovered quickly and landed two lead right hooks. Ewell blocked a head kick, but Jourdain kept his back against the cage and he landed elbows and punches. Jourdain followed with three knees to the body that hurt Ewell and he continued to land more knees in a prolonged clinch. In the final seconds, Jourdain landed a spinning wheel kick and he dropped Ewell with a front kick to the chest. 10-9 Jourdain.

Winner: Charles Jourdain by Unanimous Decision (30-26, 30-27, 29-27) after three rounds. He improves to 12-4-1.

 

Raquel “Rocky” Pennington vs Macy Chiasson

Round 1:
Chiasson finished an early combination with a lead left hook and she prevented Pennington from clinching. Chiasson threw a crescent kick and landed an uppercut. A hard right hand scored for Pennington, who followed with a leg kick. She punched her way into a clinch and landed a knee to the body before holding Chiasson against the cage. Big punches were exchanged on the break and Pennington charged at Chiasson with looping hooks soon after. Chiasson sidestepped and countered with an uppercut. She tripped Pennington and threw shoulder strikes to her face until the end of the round. 10-9 Chiasson.

Round 2:
Chiasson scored with a hard body kick in round two, but Pennington was unfazed and she pressed forward with left and right hooks. A clinch followed against the cage and Chiasson landed three knees to the upper body. Pennington countered with a right hook over the top and the fighters separated. A strong right hook landed for Pennington, who flurried with punches and then landed a knee in a clinch. Chiasson ducked her head and Pennington trapped her in a front choke. She used it to pull Chiasson down to the mat and Chiasson tapped out to the choke within seconds.

Winner: Raquel Pennington by Submission (Front Choke) at 3:07 of round two. She improves to 13-8-0.

 

Don’Tale “Kong” Mayes vs Josh Parisian

Round 1:
Mayes opened the fight with a lead kick and a front kick to the body. He took Parisian down and Parisian countered with an upkick. Mayes passed to side control and Parisian worked back to his feet against the cage. Mayes landed left hands to Parisian’s face on the way up, then scored another takedown. Once more, Parisian scrambled up and he landed a knee to the body. Mayes secured a body-lock takedown into side control and he moved to a top-side crucifix. Mayes landed short elbows and then eyed a far-side keylock on Parisian’s left arm. Parisian managed to get back to half-guard and Mayes spun into a kneebar attempt just before the bell. 10-9 Mayes.

Round 2:
The second round began with Mayes landing punches to the body before clinching with Parisian against the cage. He got Parisian down into side control, but Parisian exploded out from the bottom and stood up. Parisian landed knees to the body and he attempted a body-lock takedown, but Mayes reversed it on the way down and wound up on top in Parisian’s half-guard. He briefly passed to mount and Parisian gave up his back. Mayes landed uppercuts to Parisian’s face that opened a cut above his left eye. Parisian rolled to his back and Mayes moved from side control to North-South position, landing punches to the body. 10-9 Mayes.

Round 3:
Mayes began the final round with a flying switch kick and a head kick, then narrowly avoided a spinning backfist counter from Parisian. He took Parisian down and Parisian got back to his feet against the cage. Mayes secured another takedown and he moved to a top-side crucifix. Parisian could not escape from the position and Mayes landed elbows to his forehead until referee Herb Dean stopped the fight.

Winner: Don’Tale Mayes by TKO (Elbows) at 3:26 of round three. He improves to 9-4-0.

 

Jordan “The Monkey King” Leavitt vs Matt “Robo” Sayles

Round 1:
Leavitt landed a body kick and grazed with a head kick early in the fight. Sayles responded with a front kick to the body and he countered a low takedown attempt from Leavitt with a front headlock. Leavitt stood and fought off a guillotine choke from Sayles in order to get him down into half-guard. From the top, Leavitt landed short elbows and he passed to mount when Sayles attempted to stand against the cage. Sayles got one leg in and shrimped back to half-guard, but Leavitt trapped him in a Brabo choke during a subsequent scramble. Sayles defended well, and he escaped from the Brabo choke and a guillotine choke, then finished the round with two hooks on the feet. 10-9 Leavitt.

Round 2:
Sayles stuffed a takedown and blocked a head kick to begin round two, and he landed a left cross. Leavitt jumped guard and locked on a guillotine choke before switching to an inverted triangle choke from the bottom. The choke did not appear to be overly tight, but it was too much for Sayles and he quickly tapped out.

Winner: Jordan Leavitt by Submission (Inverted Triangle Choke) at 2:05 of round two. He improves to 9-1-0.
