Duško “Thunder” Todorović vs Maki “Coconut Bombz” Pitolo

Round 1:
Pitolo scored with early leg kicks and a two-punch combo, then followed with a hard right hook to Todorović’s jaw. Todorović shot in for a takedown and Pitolo countered with a guillotine choke. Todorović broke Pitolo’s grip and struck from the top with hammerfists. He passed to half-guard and then pinned down Pitolo’s right arm with his leg, forming a modified top-side crucifix. Todorović landed elbows and then mounted Pitolo’ who gave up his back. Todorović landed numerous punches to the sides of Pitolo’s head and the fight was stopped.

Winner: Duško Todorović by TKO (Punches) at 4:34 of round one. He improves to 11-2-0.

 

Manel “Starboy” Kape vs Zhalgas Zhumagulov

Round 1:
Kape opened the fight with two lead left hooks and Zhumagulov answered with leg kicks and right hands. He backed Kape up with a right hook, but Kape recovered quickly and he landed a strong leg kick as Zhumagulov stepped forward. Zhumagulov jabbed and landed two more right hands. Kape jumped forward with a flying switch knee attempt and he landed a straight right. Kape dropped Zhumagulov with a jab-cross combo and swarmed on him with more punches after Zhumagulov got back to his feet. Kape unloaded with lightning-fast punches to the head until Zhumagulov wilted and fell to the mat, forcing referee Keith Peterson to stop the fight.

Winner: Manel Kape by TKO (Punches) at 4:02 of round one. He improves to 17-6-0.

 

Bryan “Bam Bam” Barberena vs Darian Weeks

Round 1:
Barberena threw single punches and kicks in the opening minute as Weeks looked to find his range. Weeks eventually clinched and he took Barberena down. Barberena stood and he broke free from the clinch. He attacked Weeks’s lead leg with kicks and Weeks clinched again. Barberena turned him around against the cage, but Weeks reversed the clinch again and both men landed knees to the body. They separated and Weeks ducked under a left hand from Barberena. He could not take him down and Barberena landed a left hook and another leg kick. 10-9 Barberena.

Round 2:
Weeks took Barberena down right away in the second round and he fought off a Barberena armbar attempt. The fight returned to the feet and Weeks countered an elbow from Barberena with a body kick. Barberena flurried to the body and shrugged off a Weeks takedown attempt. Barberena was the more effective boxer, but Weeks landed another body kick and two overhand rights. Barberena pressed forward with looping punches and Weeks took him down. Barberena stood and he landed an elbow and a left hook on the break. Barberena flurried to the body and head to close out the round. 10-9 Barberena.

Round 3:
The final round began with a clinch from Weeks, and Barberena countered with knees to the body. He landed a hard right hook to Weeks’s jaw and escaped from the clinch. Barberena flurried to the body and he followed with left hooks to Weeks’s face. Weeks closed down, but he continued to throw back punches of his own. Barberena ducked under most of them and he backed Weeks up with a combination to the head and body. Weeks landed a hard one-two, but Barberena attacked his body with more punches and that prompted Weeks to take him down. Barberena stood up and he hurt Weeks with a left hook before the bell. 10-9 Barberena.

Winner: Bryan Barberena by Unanimous Decision (29-28, 29-28, 29-28) after three rounds. He improves to 16-8-0.

 

Cheyanne “The Warrior Princess” Vlismas vs Mallory Martin

Round 1:
Vlismas struck first with two head kicks and a right cross. Martin answered with a right hook and she followed with another one soon after. Vlismas finished a combination with a body kick and she landed an overhand right while staying outside of Martin’s range. Vlismas continued to pick her shots with single kicks and one-twos as she circled on the outside. Martin connected with a right-left combo and a hard left hook in the final minute. Vlismas responded with a body kick and a series of short uppercuts in a clinch. The round ended with Vlismas landing a right hook and an uppercut. 10-9 Vlismas.

Round 2:
The second round opened with Vlismas landing two punches and a leg kick, and she resumed circling to her right. Vlismas avoided most of Martin’s strikes and darted in and out with jabs and body kicks. She continued to easily win the striking exchanges until Martin clinched and worked for a takedown against the cage. She held Vlismas in place and threw knees to her thighs. Vlismas broke free with a knee of her own and she landed jabs and a combination to finish the round. 10-9 Vlismas.

Round 3:
Martin clinched and tried for a body-lock takedown in the final round, but Vlismas fought it off and pushed her away. An overhand right scored for Vlismas and Martin tried again to take her down. Vlismas maintained her balance against the cage and she escaped from the clinch after landing two knees to Martin’s body. Vlismas landed a hard right hand and she kept Martin at bay with jabs until Martin was able to briefly clinch with her. After breaking away, Vlismas scored with one-two after one-two. Martin could not get past Vlismas’s jab and Vlismas landed another combination. The fight ended with both women landing power punches. 10-9 Vlismas.

Winner: Cheyanne Vlismas by Unanimous Decision (30-27, 29-28, 29-28) after three rounds. She improves to 7-2-0.

 

William “Knightmare” Knight vs “Atomic” Alonzo Menifield

Round 1:
Knight tried to muscle Menifield down to the mat early in the fight, but Menifield reversed it on the way down and wound up on top in side control. Menifield attempted a scarf hold and gave up his back in the process. A scramble followed and Knight mounted Menifield, which forced him to give up his back. Knight hunted for a rear-naked choke and Menifield defended. The fighters returned to their feet against the cage and Knight kept Menifield trapped in a front headlock while landing occasional knees to his thigh. The fighters separated and Knight appeared to be fatigued as he missed with wild punches, but he dropped Menifield with a left hook. Knight followed with right hands on the ground, but Menifield survived and got back to his feet. Knight reversed a takedown attempt into mount at the bell. 10-9 Knight.

Round 2:
Menifield scored with a hard right hook in the second round that staggered Knight, but he did not follow up and Knight recovered. The pace slowed down and Menifield threw occasional right hands and lead left hooks. Knight missed with punch attempts, but he landed a leg kick and Menifield responded with a one-two. Both men landed right hooks and Knight finished the round with a body kick and a lead left hand. 10-9 Menifield.

Round 3:
The final round began with Menifield landing a left-right combo and Knight replied with a big overhand right. A clinch ensued and Menifield backed Knight up against the cage. He kept him pinned there all the way until the final minute when Knight finally pushed him away. Knight landed two jabs and an overhand right before the end of the bout. Uneventful round. 10-9 Menifield, barely. Decision could go either way.

Winner: William Knight by Unanimous Decision (29-28, 29-28, 29-28) after three rounds. He improves to 11-2-0.

 

Claudio “El Niño” Puelles vs Chris “Gritz” Gruetzemacher

Round 1:
The fight began with an exchange of body kicks and Puelles shot in for a sloppy takedown. Gruetzemacher lost his balance and Puelles got him down. Puelles landed left hands and an elbow from the top while Gruetzemacher tried to tie up his arms. Puelles passed to side control and then tried to take Gruetzemacher’s back. Gruetzemacher rolled to his side and Puelles held top position in his half-guard. He used a top-side guillotine choke to set up a pass to mount. Puelles postured up with big punches until Gruetzemacher got back to half-guard. Puelles passed to side control and attempted a kimura before the bell. 10-9 Puelles, if not a 10-8.

Round 2:
Gruetzemacher stuffed a takedown and pushed Puelles down in the second round, taking top position in the process. Puelles countered with a triangle choke attempt from the bottom. Gruetzemacher escaped and briefly struck with punches until Puelles got back to his feet. In a clinch, Gruetzemacher landed a knee to the body and Puelles responded with an elbow over to the temple. He finished the round strong with more knees and elbows while keeping Gruetzemacher pinned against the fence. 10-9 Puelles due to the late offence, as Gruetzemacher’s takedown led to nothing.

Round 3:
Time was called early in the final round when Puelles was kneed in the groin. The fight resumed and Gruetzemacher flurried to the body before sprawling out of a Puelles takedown attempt. Gruetzemacher stuffed another takedown and then took Puelles’s back as Puelles got back to his feet. Puelles turned into the clinch and stomped on Gruetzemacher’s foot, but Gruetzemacher swept out his leg and tripped him. Puelles countered with a heel hook attempt from the bottom and Gruetzemacher punched his way free. Puelles got to his knees and landed punches to the side of his head. Puelles then rolled for a kneebar and fully extended Gruetzemacher’s leg, forcing Gruetzemacher to submit.

Winner: Claudio Puelles by Submission (Kneebar) at 3:25 of round three. He improves to 11-2-0.

 

Vince “Vandetta” Morales vs Louis “Da Last Samurai” Smolka

Round 1:
Smolka opened the action with a knee and a leg kick, and Morales responded with stiff jabs. He followed with a combination to the body and two leg kicks as Smolka looked to close the distance. Smolka secured a Thai clinch and landed two knees, but Morales countered with a right hook to the temple and Smolka fell face-first to the mat. The fight was not immediately stopped, so Morales dove in with more punches until it was waved off.

Winner: Vince Morales by KO (Punches) at 2:02 of round one. He improves to 11-5-0.
