André “Sergipano” Muniz vs Ronaldo “Jacaré” Souza

Round 1:
Souza landed front kicks to the body early in the fight and he took Muniz down against the cage. Souza stood over Muniz and dropped right hands to his face until Muniz scrambled up to his feet. He secured a takedown of his own and Souza quickly worked back to his feet with Muniz on his back. He broke free from the clinch, but Muniz caught a body kick soon after and took Souza down again. As Souza stood up, Muniz hopped on his back and pulled him down to the mat. Souza’s right arm became trapped and Muniz wrenched back on it, snapping his arm and ending the fight.

Winner: André Muniz by Submission (Armbar) at 3:59 of round one. He improves to 21-4-0.

 

“Groovy” Lando Vannata vs Mike Grundy

Round 1:
Grundy initiated an early clinch and time was called when Vannata was kneed in the groin. Action resumed after a break and Vannata landed a right cross. He followed with two body kicks, but Grundy caught the second one and took him down. Vannata stood with Grundy on his back and Grundy suplexed him down again. Vannata worked back to his feet and he escaped from Grundy’s grasp. Grundy moved forward and clinched once more, but Vannata stayed on his feet and threw elbows to the side of Grundy’s head. He circled free of the clinch and threw a head kick, but Grundy ducked under it and took his back. Vannata freed himself again and he landed a right hand. Close round. 10-9 Vannata due to superior striking.

Round 2:
Vannata fought off more takedown attempts in the second round and he opened a cut near Grundy’s right eye with a combination. He followed up with a head kick soon after, bur Grundy answered back with a right hook that landed on Vannata’s cheek and caused immediate swelling. Vannata recovered quickly and he continued to outstrike Grundy by a significant margin. Vannata was able to land kick-punch combos throughout the final two minutes and Grundy, slowing down, landed single strikes in return. Another competitive round. 10-9 Vannata.

Round 3:
Grundy was able to take Vannata down in the final round and he worked for a Brabo choke on the ground, but Vannata powered up to his feet and slammed Grundy down. That forced Grundy to release his front headlock on Vannata and the fighters stood up. Vannata targeted Grundy’s body with kicks and he prevented Grundy from clinching. Two more front kicks to the body landed for Vannata and he followed with a knee. Grundy backed him up with a lunging left hook and scored with a liver kick, but Vannata was unfazed and he easily avoided a takedown attempt. Grundy chased after him and landed a lead left hook before the final bell. 10-9 Vannata.

Winner: Lando Vannata by Split Decision (30-27, 29-28, 27-30) after three rounds. He improves to 12-5-2.

 

Jordan “The Beverly Hills Ninja” Wright vs Jamie “The Nightwolf” Pickett

Round 1:
Following an exchange of body kicks, Pickett clinched and Wright scored with a hard knee. Pickett dropped levels in search of a takedown and Wright hurt him with elbows to the side of his head. He tried to finish Pickett with punches on the ground, but Pickett managed to get back to his feet. Wright rocked him again with a knee and chased after him with punches. He clinched and landed one more knee that dropped Pickett to the ground. Wright unloaded with hammerfists to his face and the fight was finally stopped.

Winner: Jordan Wright by TKO (Knee & Punches) at 1:04 of round one. He improves to 12-1-0, 1 NC.

 

Andrea “KGB” Lee vs Antonina “La Pantera” Shevchenko

Round 1:
Shevchenko landed quick one-twos as Lee moved forward in the opening minute. Lee landed a three-punch combo and she ducked under a spinning backfist attempt from Shevchenko. After a brief clinch, Shevchenko threw a front kick to the body. She secured a Thai clinch and landed knees to the body as Lee tried to counter with right hands. After the fighters separated, Lee landed a head kick as Shevchenko missed with another spinning backfist. Lee wobbled Shevchenko with a lead left hook and she took her down soon after. Shevchenko held on from the bottom and Lee threw short elbows. She postured up with right hands late in the round. 10-9 Lee.

Round 2:
Lee opened the second round with a spinning back elbow and she immediately transitioned to a headlock throw into top control. Lee landed elbows from the top while trapping Shevchenko in a top-side crucifix. She then transitioned to a tight triangle choke. Shevchenko refused to submit and Lee attacked with elbows from the bottom while maintaining the choke. She briefly switched to a triangle armbar and then went back to the choke as her legs began to fatigue. With 90 seconds remaining in the round, Lee moved to a triangle kimura position and blasted the side of Shevchenko’s head with elbows. Shevchenko held on until late in the round went Lee locked on a triangle straight armbar on Shevchenko’s right arm, and Shevchenko immediately tapped out.

Winner: Andrea Lee by Submission (Triangle Straight Armbar) at 4:52 of round two. She improves to 12-5-0.

 

Priscila “Pedrita” Cachoeira vs Gina “Danger” Mazany

Round 1:
Mazany was aggressive in the opening seconds and pressed forward in search of a clinch, but Cachoeira cracked her with left and right hooks while backing up. Mazany managed to secure a body lock and she took Cachoeira down. Cachoeira tried to stand and Mazany put her on the mat again. Cachoeira eventually managed to stand against the cage, but Mazany landed numerous right hands on the way up. Cachoeira responded with a hard right hook on the feet and Mazany took her down again. She landed short elbows and forearm strikes from Cachoeira’s half-guard until the bell. 10-9 Mazany.

Round 2:
The second round began with an early takedown from Mazany, who went to work again from Cachoeira’s half-guard. Cachoeira tried to scramble up to her feet and Mazany took her back. Cachoeira turned to her side and got back to full guard. Cachoeira cut Mazany beside her left eye with an elbow from the bottom, but nothing else transpired and the fighters were stood up. A fatigued Mazany was unable to take Cachoeira back down and Cachoeira scored with numerous right hands. Mazany began to bleed heavily from the cut and Cachoeira continued to tee off with punches. Mazany, exhausted, turned away and Cachoeira landed hooks to her body and head until the fight was waved off.

Winner: Priscila Cachoeira by TKO (Punches) at 4:51 of round two. She improves to 10-3-0.

 

“Top Gun” Tucker Lutz vs Kevin “The Angel of Death” Aguilar

Round 1:
Lutz opened the action with a pair of leg kicks and Aguilar lunged forward with a lead left hook. Lutz continued to attack Aguilar’s lead leg and he mixed in kicks to Aguilar’s body as well. Aguilar maintained a boxing-focused attack with quick combinations and he ate another body kick. Lutz landed a counter combination and stunned Aguilar with an uppercut. He took Aguilar down and moved him to the base of the cage. Lutz prevented Aguilar from getting back to his feet and stayed on top until the end of the round. 10-9 Lutz.

Round 2:
Aguilar tried to press forward with a combination in the second round, but Lutz clipped him with a counter left hook. The fighters traded leg kicks and Lutz continued to score with lead left hooks. Aguilar clinched and tried for a takedown, but Lutz defended well against the cage and he broke free with a knee to Aguilar’s face. After landing a counter right hook, Lutz took Aguilar down. This time, Aguilar managed to battle back to his feet and Lutz landed two stiff leg kicks. The round ended in a clinch against the cage. 10-9 Lutz.

Round 3:
Aguilar was very aggressive in the final round and he walked forward with combinations. Lutz countered well with lead left hooks and right uppercuts, but it did not slow Aguilar down and he continued to press the action with three- and four-punch combos. Lutz took Aguilar down and prevented him from standing against the cage. Aguilar eventually got up and both men attempted takedowns. An exchange of right hands followed and Lutz landed a leg kick. Aguilar responded with lunging left hooks and an overhand right as he chased after Lutz before the bell. Back-and-forth round. 10-9 Aguilar.

Winner: Tucker Lutz by Unanimous Decision (30-27, 29-28, 29-28) after three rounds. He improves to 12-1-0.

 

Christos “The Spartan” Giagos vs Sean Soriano

Round 1:
Soriano landed an early right hand and Giagos clinched. He hopped on Soriano’s back and looked for a standing rear-naked choke, but Soriano shook him off and the fighters separated. Soriano landed a left hook and a hard one-two that wobbled Giagos. Time was called soon after when Soriano was poked twice in the eye within a span of a few seconds. The fight continued and both men landed combinations. Soriano was knocked off-balance by a left hook from Giagos, but regained his footing and responded with a quick one-two. Soriano landed a lead left hook, a knee and a grazing head kick late in the round, but Giagos took him down before the bell. 10-9 Soriano.

Round 2:
The second round opened with a three-punch combo from Soriano and Giagos shot in for a takedown. Soriano nearly took top position, but Giagos swept and he locked on a Brabo choke almost immediately. Soriano had nowhere to go as Giagos tightened the choke and Soriano was quickly rendered unconscious.

Winner: Christos Giagos by Technical Submission (Brabo Choke) at 1:01 of round two. He improves to 19-8-0.
