Randy “Rude Boy” Brown vs Alex “Cowboy” Oliveira

Round 1:
Oliveira had early success with two leg kicks and time was called when he was kicked in the groin. The fight resumed and Oliveira dropped Brown to a knee with two calf kicks. Brown stood and landed a right hook, then floored Oliveira with another one. He followed with more punches on the ground, but Oliveira recovered and stood up with Brown on his back. Brown jumped into a one-arm rear-naked choke that he used to pull Oliveira down to the ground and Oliveira tapped out before Brown even fully secured the choke with his other arm.

Winner: Randy Brown by Submission (Rear-Naked Choke) at 2:50 of round one. He improves to 13-4-0.

 

Dwight “The Body Snatcher” Grant vs Stefan Sekulić

Round 1:
Grant used outside-leg kicks to set up right hands and lead left hooks during a cautious opening two minutes. He countered a body kick with a sweeping kick to Sekulić’s leg and Sekulić responded by jumping forward with a flying knee soon after. It landed on Grant’s chest, but Sekulić did not follow up and Grant moved in with a head kick attempt. Sekulić took Grant down with 30 seconds to go and he landed left hands to Grant’s face as he stood before the bell. 10-9 Sekulić due to the late offence.

Round 2:
Grant stuffed a takedown and he countered with a hard one-two in the second round. Sekulić looked to close the distance again and Grant cracked him with a nice right hook. He landed a lunging left hook and Sekulić replied with one of his own, then took Grant down into half-guard. Grant scrambled up and Sekulić blocked a head kick. He clinched and held Grant against the fence until the bell. Close round. 10-9 Grant due to damage.

Round 3:
The final round began with an early takedown from Grant, but he stood back up and allowed Sekulić to follow. Sekulić took Grant down and the fight quickly returned to the feet again. A strong left cross scored for Sekulić and Grant answered with a left-right combo. The fighters traded punches again and Sekulić rocked Grant with a one-two. He took Grant down and locked on a tight guillotine choke, but Grant managed to survive until the bell. 10-9 Sekulić.

Winner: Dwight Grant by Split Decision (29-28, 29-28, 28-29) after three rounds. He improves to 11-3-0.

 

Brendan “All In” Allen vs Karl “Baby K” Roberson

Round 1:
Allen opened the fight with a hard leg kick and both men landed body kicks at the same time. Roberson landed two more kicks, but Allen backed him up to the cage with a combination of kicks and uppercuts. He took Roberson down and moved to mount, then looked for a guillotine choke as Roberson sat up against the cage. Roberson briefly stood up and Allen took him right back down. He moved from Roberson’s half-guard to a heel hook position in the dying seconds. Allen cranked on the hold and Roberson tapped out while in great pain.

Winner: Brendan Allen by Submission (Heel Hook) at 4:55 of round two. He improves to 16-4-0.

 

Pat Sabatini vs Tristan “Boondock” Connelly

Round 1:
Sabatini started quickly with one-two combos and he dropped Connelly with a counter right hook as Connelly looked to clinch. From the top in Connelly’s half-guard, Sabatini landed short elbows to his face and pressed Connelly against the base of the cage. He took Connelly’s back and began working for a rear-naked choke. Connelly defended well, but Sabatini kept him trapped in a body triangle until the bell. 10-9 Sabatini. Could be a 10-8.

Round 2:
Connelly landed an early right hook to Sabatini’s temple in the second round, but Sabatini responded with an emphatic takedown seconds later. He got to side control and Connelly threw knees to Sabatini’s side from the bottom. When Sabatini attempted a pass to mount, Connelly got back to half-guard. A scramble followed and Sabatini briefly took Connelly’s back. He then moved to a top-side crucifix and Connelly gave up his back again. When Connelly tried to spin free, Sabatini held him in place with an arm-triangle choke. Connelly rolled to his side and Sabatini took his back once more as the round entered its final minute. He stayed there until the bell. 10-9 Sabatini.

Round 3:
Connelly fought off a takedown and landed a right-left combo early in round three. Sabatini clinched again and he held Connelly against the fence. Connelly prevented him from scoring a takedown and Sabatini broke free with a quick combination. Connelly cracked him with a right hook to the jaw and Sabatini shot in for a takedown. Connelly stuffed it and another clinch followed. Sabatini circled away to his left and Connelly closed in with punches. Sabatini landed a right hand over the top and Connelly took him down into half-guard. He quickly tried for a top-side guillotine choke, but Sabatini escaped. 10-9 Connelly.

Winner: Pat Sabatini by Unanimous Decision (30-27, 29-28, 29-28) after three rounds. He improves to 14-3-0.

 

“Storm” Danaa Batgerel vs Kevin “Quicksand” Natividad

Round 1:
Natividad darted in and out with single overhand punches in the opening seconds, but Batgerel dropped him to his knees with a counter left hook while backing up. He immediately unloaded with punches on the ground and Natividad fell to his back. Batgerel continued to throw punches and referee Herb Dean dove in to stop the fight.

Winner: Danaa Batgerel by TKO (Punches) at 0:50 of round one. He improves to 9-2-0.

 

Rodrigo “Kazula” Vargas vs Zhu Rong

Round 1:
Vargas kept his distance and threw body kicks and left hands early on. He used his jab to keep Rong guessing and snapped his head back with an overhand left. As Rong landed a right cross, Vargas cracked him with a straight left hand and he followed with kicks to Rong’s calf. Vargas continued to use body kicks to set up one-twos and his varied strikes prevented Rong from finding his timing. Body kicks were exchanged and Vargas lunged forward with an uppercut-hook combo before the bell. 10-9 Vargas.

Round 2:
Rong took Vargas down in the second round, but found himself trapped in a tight guillotine choke. Vargas cranked on the choke and Rong refused to submit. He stood up while still in the choke and slammed Vargas down. Vargas tightened the guillotine again, but his arms fatigued and he was forced to release it. Rong took Vargas’s back as the fighters got back to their feet and he pulled Vargas down to the ground. Vargas reversed into top position and landed short elbows from Rong’s half-guard. Rong tried to sweep, but Vargas rose to his feet and he landed a right hand late in the round. 10-9 Vargas.

Round 3:
Vargas opened round three with jabs to Rong’s damaged left eye and Rong responded with a straight right. He countered a leg kick with a quick one-two and then stunned Vargas with a hard left-right combo. Rong taunted Vargas and used jabs to set up a right cross that knocked Vargas off-balance. More stiff jabs were exchanged and Rong continued to press forward. Vargas backpedalled and jabbed as Rong closed in with combinations late in the fight. He took Vargas down and finished the round with punches to Vargas’s face. 10-9 Rong.

Winner: Rodrigo Vargas by Unanimous Decision (30-26, 29-28, 29-28) after three rounds. He improves to 12-4-0.

 

Jeff “El Jefe” Molina vs Qileng “Mongolian Murderer” Aori

Round 1:
Aori was the aggressor throughout the opening 90 seconds and he pressed forward with overhand rights. Both men landed punches in an exchange against the cage and Aori slammed Molina down. Molina battled back to his feet and he landed short knees to the body while working for a takedown. Aori defended and the fighters separated late in the round. Aori landed a right hand and initiated a clinch before time expired. 10-9 Aori.

Round 2:
Aori pursued Molina again in the second round and Molina threw kicks to the leg and body while circling away. Aori landed a hard right hand and he followed with another one soon after. Punches were exchanged until Molina dropped Aori with a counter right hook. Aori returned to his feet and landed a right hand of his own. Molina jabbed and circled to his left until Aori jumped in with a flying knee. He countered Molina’s jabs with a spinning back elbow and an uppercut. Both men landed jabs and Molina dropped Aori again with a counter right cross. He mounted Aori and landed short right hands, but the bell sounded to end the round. 10-9 Molina due to the late knockdown.

Round 3:
The final round began with both fighters landing right hands and Aori took Molina down. Molina immediately returned to his feet and Aori continued to chase after him with overhand rights and lefts. Molina landed a quick flurry to Aori’s face and then targeted his body. Aori covered up and Molina landed a four-punch combo and a knee. He followed with an uppercut and another big combination, but Aori stayed on his feet. Molina continued to land punches at will and he used jab-hook combinations to keep Aori on the defensive. Big punches were exchanged in the final ten seconds and Aori wobbled Molina, who clinched and made it to the bell. 10-9 Molina.

Winner: Jeff Molina by Unanimous Decision (29-27, 29-28, 29-28) after three rounds. He improves to 9-2-0.

 

Ariane “Sorriso” Carnelossi vs Na “Dragon Girl” Liang

Round 1:
Liang dropped Carnelossi with a right hook to begin the fight, but Carnelossi quickly returned to her feet and she stunned Liang with a counter one-two. Liang shot in for a takedown and got Carnelossi down into side control. Carnelossi got back to butterfly guard and she used it to elevate Liang. The fight returned to the feet and both women landed power combinations before Liang took Carnelossi down. She struck from the top and avoided a Carnelossi armbar attempt. Liang tried for an armbar of her own from the top, but Carnelossi escaped. The fighters exchanged top position as they continued to battle on the ground. Carnelossi worked for a rear-naked choke as the round entered its final minute. Liang escaped, but put herself into a triangle choke. She managed to get free in the dying seconds, but Carnelossi landed hard ground and pound before the bell. Liang was very slow to get up. 10-9 Carnelossi.

Round 2:
The second round began with another exchange of punches and Liang took Carnelossi down with a headlock throw. Carnelossi freed her head and worked for a rear-naked choke. Liang escaped, but Carnelossi swept into top position and she landed punches and hammerfists until the fight was stopped.

Winner: Ariane Carnelossi by TKO (Punches) at 1:28 of round two. She improves to 13-2-0.
