Shooto kicked off the new year with its latest all-female fight card tonight at New Pier Hall in Tokyo, Japan. The Shooto: “Colors 6” card was headlined by an atomweight matchup between veteran Megumi Sugimoto and teen prospect Noa Tokumoto, who scored a 32-second KO win in September.
In the co-main event, current Shooto Women’s Strawweight Champion Emi “Kamikaze Angel” Fujino took on replacement opponent Mika “Arami” Arai in a non-title 53kg bout. Elsewhere, Chiyo Takamoto met Erika Gibo in 50kg action. MMARising.com has live play-by-play for the “Colors 6” card.

After struggles in 2025, Deep and Deep Jewels Microweight Champion Saori “Little Giant” Oshima seeks a fresh start this year when she competes on March 7th at Rizin Fighting Federation 52 in Tokyo, Japan. Oshima faces Keito “Kate Lotus” Oyama in a 49kg super atomweight bout on the card.
Officials announced the matchup during intermission at Rizin’s year-end event on Wednesday. Oshima fell to champ Seika Izawa in their Rizin title bout on November 3rd. Oyama hopes to propel herself into title contention by defeating Oshima and extending her current four-fight winning streak.

A new bantamweight champion will be crowned on February 23rd when Deep Jewels returns to New Pier Hall in Tokyo, Japan. Momoko Saito and Juki Sue are set to face off for the vacant title in the main event of Deep Jewels 52, which had a total of 13 fights confirmed earlier this week.
Saito went undefeated in four fights for Deep Jewels in 2024, but she has not fought since scoring a TKO victory at Deep Jewels 47. Sue earned quick submissions in all three of her Deep bouts in 2025, with the longest fight lasting a mere 73 seconds, and she is unbeaten since December 2022.
