After suffering a pair of controversial decision defeats, former Invicta FC champion Lauren Murphy earned her first UFC victory tonight at UFC Fight Night 83: “Cerrone vs Oliveira” in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Murphy stopped short-notice replacement Kally Faszholz very late in the third round.

Competing for the fifth time in a nine-month span, Angela “Unstoppable” Lee picked up another impressive submission win tonight at ONE Championship 38: “Tribe of Warriors” in Jakarta, Indonesia. The undefeated 19-year-old finished Rebecca “The Professor” Heintzman early in the second round.
Lee, who has fought exclusively for ONE since turning pro in May, battered Heintzman with punches and knees to the face in round one of tonight’s 120-pound catchweight bout. She landed more knees on the ground in the second stanza and secured a neck crank that forced Heintzman to submit.
