Deep Jewels held its 12th all-female fight card on Sunday at Shinjuku FACE in Tokyo, Japan. Deep Jewels 12 featured a vacant atomweight title bout between former Deep Jewels interim strawweight champion Emi Tomimatsu and one-time Jewels 106-pound titleholder Naho “Sugi Rock” Sugiyama.

Brazilian standout Jéssica “Bate Estaca” Andrade made a successful strawweight debut with a dominant TKO win tonight at UFC 199: “Rockhold vs Bisping 2” in Inglewood, California. Andrade stopped former Invicta FC champion Jessica Penne in the second round of a one-sided matchup.

Andrade kept Penne on the defensive right from the opening minute of the fight. She landed barrages of heavy punches that kept the Californian pinned against the cage wall. Penne stayed on her feet, but a final flurry of punches in round two gave Andrade the biggest victory of her pro career.

Highly-touted striker Amanda Bobby “ABC” Cooper kept Team Claudia’s perfect record intact with a close and competitive decision victory during tonight’s seventh episode of The Ultimate Fighter 23: “Team Joanna vs Team Claudia.” Cooper narrowly edged out Team Joanna’s Jamie Moyle.

The opening round of the action-packed strawweight bout saw both fighters land hard strikes on the feet until Moyle scored a late takedown, but Cooper rallied in the second stanza and she dominated the final moments of the fight by battering a bloodied Moyle with ground and pound to seal a victory.
