With the addition of WKN Australian kickboxing champion Kim Townsend, the lineup for this Saturday’s Shoot Boxing Girls S-Cup tournament is now complete. Townsend will face two-time Girls S-Cup winner Rena Kubota in one of four quarterfinal matchups announced by the promotion today.
Kubota is once again seen as a heavy favourite to win this year’s Girls S-Cup, which requires the champion to defeat three opponents in one night in order to capture the title. Among those standing in Kubota’s way is Erika Kamimura, who won an Asia-only version of the Girls S-Cup this past year.

A new Tuff-N-Uff 125-pound women’s tournament champion was crowned on Saturday night at Tuff-N-Uff: “Mayhem In Mesquite” in Mesquite, Nevada. Reign Training Center’s Rachael Cummins captured the tournament title with an impressive first-round submission win over Tandra “Tundra” Lopez.
In other action on the card, Cortney “Cast Iron” Casey made a successful promotional debut by submitting former Tuff-N-Uff 115-pound women’s champion Jillian “Justice” Lybarger. Casey has now won three straight fights since suffering her lone defeat via a contentious Split Decision in January.

Hometown star Jessica “Evil” Eye earned a dominant Unanimous Decision win over New Mexico’s Angela Magana tonight in the main event of NAAFS: “Rock N Rumble 6” in Cleveland, Ohio. Eye’s crisp counterstriking and solid takedown defence propelled her to the clear-cut victory after three rounds.
From the outset, Eye kept Magana at bay with jabs and quick combinations that made it difficult for Magana to close the distance. Magana tried to take the fight to the ground on numerous occasions throughout, but Eye thwarted each attempt and showcased her rapidly-improving wrestling skills.
