Lima kept Ansaroff pinned down on the mat during much of rounds one and two, but Ansaroff remained active from her back and Lima’s offensive attacks were limited. The pace slowed in the final round and Ansaroff got the better of the striking exchanges, but still came up short on the scorecards.

Deep Jewels Featherweight Champion Seo Hee Ham will become the first Korean female fighter to compete inside the world-famous Octagon when she makes her UFC debut in the coming months. Ham, who is set to move back up to strawweight, signed with the UFC at the beginning of November.
Ham’s UFC signing was first announced by Road FC officials earlier this week and MMARising.com learned of additional aspects of the deal through a source with knowledge of the situation. Ham recently retained her 48kg Deep Jewels title by submitting Saori “Shooting Star” Ishioka on Monday.

Highly-touted prospect “Thug” Rose Namajunas notched the first victory for Team Melendez during tonight’s seventh episode of The Ultimate Fighter 20: “A Champion Will Be Crowned.” Namajunas put her team on the board by submitting Team Pettis’s Alex “Astro Girl” Chambers late in round one.
Both fighters felt pressure leading up to tonight’s elimination round bout, as Chambers was tasked with keeping Team Pettis’s perfect record intact and Namajunas looked to end Team Melendez’s disappointing losing streak. In the end, Namajunas dominated the fight and was very emotional in victory.
