Nazim Sadykhov vs Evan “The Phenom” Elder

Round 1:
Elder landed a left hook and a leg kick, then darted in with a lead right hook. Sadykhov pressed forward and Elder kept him at bay with jabs. Sadykhov eventually landed a hard right hook that dropped Elder to a knee and forced him to circle away. Sadykhov landed a straight left hand and followed with a second one. Elder dropped him with a right hook and Sadykhov returned to his feet. Elder landed a right hook to Sadykhov’s body and an uppercut. As Sadykhov moved forward, Elder landed a right hook and a knee to the body. Time was called when Sadykhov was poked in his right eye. The fight continued after a short break and Sadykhov threw a head kick, but Elder responded with a nice right hook. 10-9 Elder.

Round 2:
The second round began with Elder landing an overhand right and Sadykhov replied with a left hook. Both men landed kicks and Elder took Sadykhov down into full guard. Sadykhov worked back to his feet against the cage and Elder held him in place. The fighters separated and a cut was opened beside Sadykhov’s eye due to a clash of heads. Elder targeted the cut with a left hook, but Sadykhov answered with a hard left hand that backed him up momentarily. Sadykhov took Elder down and held his back as Elder stood up. Elder escaped from the clinch and he flurried to Sadykhov’s body. Elder held Sadykhov against the fence and kneed him in the midsection until the bell. Close round. 10-9 Elder, just barely.

Round 3:
Time was called early in the final round after Sadykhov threw a head kick that landed with his knee just above Elder’s right eye. The knee strike opened a bad gash and the doctor was called in to check on it. He immediately indicated that it was too bad to continue and the fight was waved off.

Winner: Nazim Sadykhov by TKO (Doctor Stoppage) at 0:38 of round three. He improves to 8-1-0.

 

Mayra “Sheetara” Bueno Silva vs Lina “Elbow Queen” Länsberg

Round 1:
Time was called almost immediately when Länsberg poked Bueno Silva in the eye. The fight continued after a minute and Bueno Silva landed a spinning heel kick to the body. She threw two more body kicks and Länsberg landed lead left hooks in response. Bueno Silva slowed down Länsberg’s movement with calf kicks and liver kicks. Knees were exchanged during a clinch and Bueno Silva continued to attack Länsberg’s body. Länsberg clinched and Bueno Silva reversed it against the cage. She took Länsberg down into back control and then almost mounted her. Länsberg maintained half-guard and Bueno Silva landed two elbows. 10-9 Bueno Silva.

Round 2:
Bueno Silva landed a right hook and a knee to the body early in round two. She took Länsberg down into half-guard and held her in place. Bueno Silva eventually moved to S-mount and then took Länsberg’s back. She elbowed the side of Länsberg’s head and trapped Länsberg in a body triangle. Länsberg turned over and stood up, but Bueno Silva attacked with a kneebar and Länsberg was forced to hastily tap out.

Winner: Mayra Bueno Silva by Submission (Kneebar) at 4:45 of round two. She improves to 10-2-1.

 

Jamall “Prettyboy” Emmers vs Khusein “Lion” Askhabov

Round 1:
Emmers landed a right cross and two front kicks to the body, but Askhabov used a right hand to close the distance and clinch. Time was called when Emmers was kneed in the groin. The fight resumed and Askhabov landed an inside-leg kick. He followed with one to the outside of Emmers’s left leg. Emmers landed two leg kicks and a lead left hook. Askhabov threw two more leg kicks and came up short with a lunging one-two. Askhabov countered a leg kick with a right hook and a jab-cross combo. Askhabov fell after missing with a spinning wheel kick, but he quickly rose to his feet and landed a right hook in close. Back-and-forth round. 10-9 Emmers by a slim margin.

Round 2:
Askhabov tried to close the distance in the second round and Emmers landed a counter right hook. He stuffed another takedown and Askhabov threw a head kick from his back that partially landed. He got back to his feet and Emmers landed two leg kicks. Askhabov threw one in response, but Emmers dropped him to a knee with a right hook. Askhabov flopped to his back and Emmers prevented him from standing up for close to a minute. When Askhabov finally stood, Emmers landed a right hook. He connected with a one-two just before the bell. 10-9 Emmers.

Round 3:
Emmers fought off an Askhabov takedown attempt and threw him down to the ground in the final round. Emmers took top position in Askhabov’s half-guard and then moved to mount. Askhabov exploded out from the bottom and briefly held top position. The fighters stood and battled against the cage, but Askhabov fell and Emmers retook top position in his half-guard. Emmers passed to mount and then took Askhabov’s back. Again, Askhabov swept from the bottom and the fight returned to the feet. Emmers landed a right hook and sprawled out of a takedown attempt. Askhabov fell to his back and Emmers mounted him. He rolled into a kimura in the final seconds, but Askhabov held on until the bell. 10-9 Emmers.

Winner: Jamall Emmers by Unanimous Decision (30-27, 30-27, 30-27) after three rounds. He improves to 19-6-0.

 

Philipe “Monstro” Lins vs Ovince “OSP” St. Preux

Round 1:
St. Preux struck first with a leg kick, but Lins hurt him with a left hook that backed St. Preux up against the cage. From that point forward, Lins was relentless with punches as he blasted St. Preux with left and right hooks while preventing St. Preux from having any time to recover. St. Preux tried to circle to his right, but Lins floored him with a lunging left hook and the brief fight was mercifully stopped.

Winner: Philipe Lins by KO (Punch) at 0:49 of round one. He improves to 16-5-0.

 

A.J. “The Ghost” Fletcher vs Themba “The Answer” Gorimbo

Round 1:
Gorimbo took Fletcher down and quickly moved to back control. Fletcher defended well and got to his knees, and he reversed into top position in Gorimbo’s half-guard. Fletcher passed to mount and he landed a hard elbow. More short elbows and punches scored for Fletcher as Gorimbo tried unsuccessfully to buck him off. Gorimbo eventually got back to half-guard and wrenched on an Achilles lock on Fletcher’s right leg. Fletcher stood over Gorimbo until the end of the round. 10-9 Fletcher.

Round 2:
Early in round two, Gorimbo tried to pull half-guard to attack with another Achilles lock. Fletcher defended, but Gorimbo got him down against the base of the cage. He moved to a seated back control and tried to set up a rear-naked choke. Fletcher scrambled free and stood up. He froze Gorimbo with an elbow and then pulled half-guard with a power guillotine choke. Fletcher rolled over into a mounted guillotine, and Gorimbo tapped out.

Winner: A.J. Fletcher by Submission (Guillotine Choke) at 1:37 of round two. He improves to 10-2-0.

 

Clayton Carpenter vs Juancamilo Ronderos

Round 1:
Carpenter landed an early right hook and he followed with two head kick attempts, but Ronderos caught the second one and took him down. Ronderos worked from the top until Carpenter trapped him in a triangle choke. He tried to transition to an armbar, but lost the position and a scramble followed. Carpenter wound up on top and he secured a body triangle after taking Ronderos’s back. Carpenter patiently set up a rear-naked choke, which he got, and Ronderos tapped out.

Winner: Clayton Carpenter by Submission (Rear-Naked Choke) at 3:13 of round one. He improves to 7-0-0.
