Renato “Moicano” Carneiro vs Brad “Quake” Riddell

Round 1:
Carneiro stunned Riddell with a counter right hook and he cut him below his right eye with a lead left hand. Riddell reversed a takedown, but Carneiro scrambled and took his back. He locked on a tight rear-naked choke and Riddell tapped out.

Winner: Renato Carneiro by Submission (Rear-Naked Choke) at 3:20 of round one. He improves to 17-5-1.

 

Ryan “Superman” Spann vs Dominick “The Devastator” Reyes

Round 1:
Spann scored with an early right hook and Reyes slipped after throwing a body kick. Spann held him in a guillotine choke and Reyes escaped to his feet. The fighters circled and Spann landed a one-two. He then dropped him face-first with a power jab and the fight was waved off as Spann followed with punches on the ground. The initial jab did all of the damage.

Winner: Ryan Spann by KO (Punch) at 1:20 of round one. He improves to 21-7-0.

 

Erin “Cold Blooded” Blanchfield vs “Meatball” Molly McCann

Round 1:
Blanchfield took McCann down into side control in the opening minute and she moved to a top-side crucifix. Blanchfield landed elbows and punches while pinning McCann in place. McCann could not move and Blanchfield continued to batter her with elbows and more punches. Blanchfield switched to a kimura and McCann refused to tap out. She locked on a second one and McCann was forced to submit. Complete dominance from Blanchfield.

Winner: Erin Blanchfield by Submission (Kimura) at 3:37 of round one. She improves to 10-1-0.

 

Andre Petroski vs Wellington Turman

Round 1:
Petroski blocked an early head kick and he landed a solid right hand. Turman responded with a leg kick and both men landed one-twos. Petroski dove at Turman’s ankle and he took him down against the cage. Turman worked his way back up and he landed a lead left hook. Petroski blocked a head kick, but Turman attacked his body with a left hook and three kicks. Petroski began to breathe heavily, but he took Turman down in the final seconds. Turman sat up and elbowed the side of Petroski’s head. Close round. 10-9 Turman due to damage.

Round 2:
Turman countered a Petroski takedown with a guillotine choke in the second round, but Petroski escaped and he worked from Turman’s guard. Turman tried to scramble up to his feet and Petroski attacked with a neck crank. Turman turned to his side to escape, then stood up against the cage. He landed a left hook to Petroski’s liver and took reversed a takedown into top position. Petroski stood up and Turman dragged him back down. A scramble ensued and Petroski ultimately reversed a takedown into top control while pinning Turman’s left arm behind his back in a hammerlock. He finished the round by landing elbows to Turman’s face from half-guard. 10-9 Petroski.

Round 3:
Petroski took Turman down early in the final round and he locked on a tight guillotine choke in a scramble. Turman somehow survived the choke, but Petroski used it to roll over into mount. Turman managed to et back to full guard, but Petroski peppered him with punches and he took Turman’s back as the fighters stood. Petroski suplexed Turman back down and took his back once more. He landed left hands to Turman’s face until the bell. 10-9 Petroski. Could be a 10-8.

Winner: Andre Petroski by Unanimous Decision (30-27, 30-27, 29-28) after three rounds. He improves to 9-1-0.

 

Matt “The Steamrolla” Frevola vs Ottman “Bulldozer” Azaitar

Round 1:
Frevola landed an early one-two and he followed with a looping right hook. Azaitar closed the distance and Frevola stunned him with an uppercut. He sent Azaitar crashing to the mat with a huge left hook and the fight was stopped. Big KO win for Frevola.

Winner: Matt Frevola by KO (Punch) at 2:30 of round one. He improves to 10-3-1.

 

Karolina Kowalkiewicz vs Silvana “La Malvada” Gómez Juárez

Round 1:
Quick jabs were exchanged and Kowalkiewicz took Gómez Juárez down into back control after catching a kick. She secured a body triangle and then tried to transition to mount. Gómez Juárez prevented her from doing so and Kowalkiewicz stayed on her back. She attempted a rear-naked choke and Gómez Juárez defended. Gómez Juárez got to her feet with 20 seconds to go and she countered a Kowalkiewicz body kick with a quick combination. 10-9 Kowalkiewicz.

Round 2:
Kowalkiewicz pressed the action with jabs and she charged at Gómez Juárez with a flurry of punches. Gómez Juárez avoided a clinch and circled to her right. She landed a right hook and jabbed until Kowalkiewicz connected with an overhand right and a body kick. Gómez Juárez connected with a hard left-right combo, but Kowalkiewicz landed more jabs and an overhand right. She closed the distance and landed a knee late in the close round. 10-9 Gómez Juárez by a slim margin.

Round 3:
Gómez Juárez landed a left hook to the body and Kowalkiewicz fired back with a knee and a series of jabs. Gómez Juárez landed a right hook and Kowalkiewicz answered with one of her own. She faked a takedown and landed a right cross and a jab. The fighters exchanged more jabs and Kowalkiewicz landed a knee to the body. Gómez Juárez slipped and Kowalkiewicz briefly took her back as she rose to her feet. Kowalkiewicz landed a combination and three knees to the body. The close round ended with both women landing punching combinations. 10-9 Kowalkiewicz. Decision could go either way.

Winner: Karolina Kowalkiewicz by Unanimous Decision (29-28, 29-28, 29-28) after three rounds. She improves to 14-7-0.

 

Michael “The Lone Wolf” Trizano vs Seung Woo “Sting” Choi

Round 1:
The fight began with a double knockdown as both men landed hard left hooks at the same time. They stood and exchanged left hooks again. Trizano dropped Choi with a left-right combo and dove in with punches on the ground. Choi recovered and got back to his feet, but he ate a hard right hand from Trizano. Choi attempted a head kick that was blocked and he landed an overhand right. Choi rocked Trizano with a lead left hook and chased after him with wild, looping punches. He took Trizano down very briefly, but Trizano got back to his feet. Punches were exchanged and Trizano dropped Choi with a lead left hook. Choi covered up on the ground and Trizano landed right hands until the fight was stopped.

Winner: Michael Trizano by TKO (Punches) at 4:51 of round one. He improves to 10-3-0.

 

Montel “Quik” Jackson vs Julio Arce

Round 1:
Jackson shot in for an early takedown and he held Arce in a clinch against the cage. Arce prevented Jackson from taking him down and the fighters were eventually separated. As the round entered its final minute, punches were finally exchanged and Arce landed a solid one-two. He scored a takedown into side control just before the bell. Close and uneventful round. 10-9 Arce due to the late offence and takedown.

Round 2:
Arce pressed the action in round two and he used jabs to keep Jackson on the defensive. Arce landed a left hook and Jackson answered with a jab. A lead right hook landed for Arce and Jackson countered with an overhand left. He took Arce’s back in a standing clinch during the final minute. Arce turned into the clinch and Jackson threw short knees until the end of the round. 10-9 Jackson.

Round 3:
Jackson dropped Arce with a stiff jab seconds into round three and he followed with punches on the ground as Arce recovered. Arce tried to set up an armbar and then threw up his legs for an inverted triangle choke. Jackson escaped and he punched from the top until Arce worked back to his feet. Jackson jabbed and he prevented Arce from closing the distance. He landed a jab-cross combo and clinched with Arce late in the round. 10-9 Jackson.

Winner: Montel Jackson by Unanimous Decision (30-27, 30-27, 29-28) after three rounds. He improves to 12-2-0.

 

Carlos “Black Jag” Ulberg vs Nicolae “Nick” Negumereanu

Round 1:
After a cautious opening minute, Ulberg landed a hard leg kick and he jabbed while circling from side to side. Another leg kick and a lead left hook scored for Ulberg. Negumereanu began to favour his left leg already and Ulberg froze him in place with a jab. He dropped Negumereanu with a lead left hook and Negumereanu tried to get to his feet. Ulberg blasted him with a right uppercut and Negumereanu fell face-first to the mat.

Winner: Carlos Ulberg by KO (Punches) at 3:44 of round one. He improves to 7-1-0.
