Damon “The Leech” Jackson vs Pat Sabatini

Round 1:
Jackson hurt Sabatini with an early shin kick to the face and a wobbled Sabatini fell forward. Jackson mounted him on the ground and landed punches until Sabatini gave up his back. Jackson continued to rain down punches to the sides of Sabatini’s head and Sabatini turned to his side. Jackson landed more punches until the brief fight was stopped after Sabatini verbally submitted.

Winner: Damon Jackson by Submission (Punches) at 1:09 of round one. He improves to 22-4-1, 1 NC.

 

Trevin “The Problem” Giles vs Louis “The Monster” Cosce

Round 1:
Nothing of note transpired for more than two minutes until Giles knocked Cosce down with a counter leg kick as Cosce threw a body kick. Cosce stood and Giles jabbed while keeping his distance. The inactivity continued throughout the rest of the round and Cosce blocked a head kick before the bell. 10-9 Giles due to being slightly more active. Dreadful round.

Round 2:
The action finally picked up momentarily with an exchange of hooks 45 seconds into round two. Cosce blocked another head kick and Giles landed a calf kick. Cosce countered a right cross from Giles with a lead right hook, then blocked a body kick. More right hands were exchanged and Cosce landed a solid punch from the southpaw stance. Giles ducked under a punch from Cosce and took his back in a standing clinch against the cage. 10-9 Giles due to control.

Round 3:
Cosce took Giles down right away in the final round and Giles tried to counter with a guillotine choke. That was a mistake and Cosce pressed down with his shoulder for a shoulder choke from the top. Giles escaped from the choke and Cosce took top position in Giles’s half-guard. He stayed there for more than two minutes, but did very little with the position. Giles eventually got back to his feet and he took Cosce down momentarily. Cosce stood and Giles kneed him in the thigh. He held Cosce in a clinch and dumped him to the mat once more before the final bell. 10-9 Giles due to the minimal damage dealt late in the round. Terrible fight.

Winner: Trevin Giles by Unanimous Decision (30-27, 29-28, 29-28) after three rounds. He improves to 15-4-0.

 

Konklak “Loma Lookboonmee” Suphisara vs Denise Gomes

Round 1:
Suphisara cut Gomes with an elbow near Gomes’s left eye and she knocked her down with a front kick to the body. Gomes stood and worked for a takedown in a clinch against the cage. Suphisara defended well and she reversed a takedown into mount. Suphisara battered Gomes with elbows and Gomes gave up her back. Suphisara got too high on the back and Gomes shook her off. Gomes wound up on top and she immediately tried for an arm-triangle choke from half-guard. Gomes passed to side control to tighten the choke, but Suphisara escaped and also fought off an armbar attempt. From the top, Suphisara landed three elbows before the bell. 10-9 Suphisara.

Round 2:
Suphisara reversed another clinch from Gomes by pushing her down into mount. Gomes got back to half-guard and she tried to set up a kimura from the bottom. Suphisara mounted her again and landed an elbow, but Gomes got back to half-guard once more and Suphisara decided to stand up. Gomes followed and Suphisara fought off a takedown attempt with knees and elbows. Suphisara got Gomes down and worked from the top in Gomes’s half-guard. Suphisara opted to stand up and turned her back to Gomes, who took advantage by tying Suphisara up in a clinch. Suphisara recovered from the lapse in judgment and finished the round by landing elbows to Gomes’s temples in a clinch. 10-9 Suphisara.

Round 3:
Gomes opened the final round with a three-punch flurry and a spinning back elbow. Suphisara took her down and Gomes attacked with a heel hook. Gomes then took Suphisara’s back and tried to secure a rear-naked choke. She kept Suphisara trapped in a body triangle and punched the side of her head. Gomes eventually tried to transition to an armbar from the back, but that allowed Suphisara to scramble free and she landed right hands to the side of Gomes’s head as the fighters stood up. Suphisara took Gomes down and landed more right hands while pinning her against the base of the cage. She spent the final 25 seconds striking from the top with elbows. Suphisara may have stolen the round with the late-round comeback. 10-9 Gomes, just barely.

Winner: Konklak Suphisara by Unanimous Decision (30-27, 30-27, 29-28) after three rounds. She improves to 7-3-0.

 

Trey “Samurai Ghost” Ogden vs Daniel “Golden Boy” Zellhuber

Round 1:
After an uneventful opening minute, both men landed leg kicks. Zellhuber circled on the outside and very little offence was mounted by either fighter. Ogden eventually attempted a head kick and Zellhuber landed a leg kick in response. Ogden picked up the pace and attacked Zellhuber’s lead leg and body with more kicks. Zellhuber went high with a head kick that partially landed. Ogden threw more leg kicks and a lead left hook. He continued to outstrike Zellhuber with body kicks late in the round. 10-9 Ogden.

Round 2:
Zellhuber jabbed and landed a leg kick in the second round, and Ogden countered with a lead left hook. Zellhuber landed a front kick and the fighters exchanged kicks to the body. A hard leg kick scored for Zellhuber, who stuffed an Ogden takedown attempt. Ogden landed three leg kicks and Zellhuber answered with a body kick. The fighters traded body kicks and jabs, with Zellhuber pressing the action. Ogden took him down and moved to Zellhuber’s back as he got to his feet. He got Zellhuber down once more and then hopped into a standing rear-naked choke attempt before the bell. 10-9 Ogden due to the late rally.

Round 3:
Zellhuber bloodied Ogden’s nose with jabs early in round three, but Ogden landed jabs of his own and he clinched after a one-two from Zellhuber. The fighters separated and Ogden landed two jabs. He followed up with more jabs and two kicks to Zellhuber’s body. Zellhuber missed with a jumping knee attempt and Ogden landed a lead left hand. Zellhuber blocked a head kick and rushed forward, but he ate two more jabs from Ogden. With 30 seconds to go, Ogden ducked under an elbow and attempted a takedown. Zellhuber stayed up and he landed a body kick in the final seconds. Close round. 10-9 Ogden.

Winner: Trey Ogden by Unanimous Decision (30-27, 30-27, 29-28) after three rounds. He improves to 16-5-0.

 

Gillian “The Savage” Robertson vs Mariya “Demonslayer” Agapova

Round 1:
Agapova landed an early one-two and she latched on to a guillotine choke when Robertson shot in for a takedown. She pushed Robertson down to the ground and then pulled guard with the guillotine, but Robertson escaped and the fighters stood up. As Robertson attempted a takedown, Agapova blasted her with hard elbows to the side of her head. Robertson weathered the storm and she managed to pull Agapova down into back control on the ground. Agapova worked back to her feet and escaped from the clinch. Agapova landed a side kick to the body and a left cross. She fought off another Robertson takedown attempt with hammerfists. More hammerfists and elbows scored for Agapova, but Robertson finally got her down. Robertson secured an arm-triangle choke, but Agapova held on until the bell. 10-9 Agapova.

Round 2:
Robertson scored a single-leg takedown in the second round and she passed to mount. Agapova turned to her side and Robertson looked to set up a rear-naked choke. Agapova got to a knee and Robertson locked on the choke. Agapova nearly went out multiple times, but somehow barely held on. Robertson adjusted her grip and Agapova was choked unconscious, ending the fight.

Winner: Gillian Robertson by Technical Submission (Rear-Naked Choke) at 2:19 of round two. She improves to 11-7-0.

 

Javid “The Snow Leopard” Basharat vs Tony Gravely

Round 1:
Gravely jabbed and landed calf kicks early in the fight. Basharat answered with a front kick to the body and the fighters clashed heads as Gravely threw a knee. A cut was opened above Basharat’s left eye and Gravely took his back. He dumped Basharat to the mat, but Basharat stood and time was called to acknowledge that his cut had come from a clash of heads. The fight resumed and Gravely landed a right hook. Basharat answered with an uppercut and a hard knee to the body. Gravely landed a nice right hand and Basharat took him down. Gravely used a guillotine choke attempt from the bottom to set up a scramble, and he got back to his feet. Close opening round. 10-9 Gravely.

Round 2:
Gravely shot in for a takedown seconds into round two and Basharat fought it off. He landed a body kick and took Gravely down into half-guard. Basharat threw short elbows and looked to set up an arm-triangle choke. Gravely got to his knees and Basharat attempted a Brabo choke. Gravely escaped and stood up, and he pressed forward on the feet. Basharat landed a left hook to the body and a one-two. The fighters clashed heads again and Basharat landed a head kick late in the round. 10-9 Basharat. Bordering on a 10-8 due to control.

Round 3:
The final round began with Gravely landing three leg kicks. Basharat answered with a left cross after shrugging off a Gravely clinch attempt. Basharat jabbed and Gravely threw a leg kick. Right hands were exchanged and Gravely tried for a takedown. A back-and-forth scramble ensued and the fighters returned to their feet. Basharat stepped forward with two elbow strikes to the sides of Gravely’s head. Gravely landed a hard calf kick and Basharat jabbed from a southpaw stance. Basharat stuffed a takedown and he landed jabs and another elbow. Punches were exchanged late in the round and Basharat landed a right hook. 10-9 Basharat.

Winner: Javid Basharat by Unanimous Decision (29-28, 29-28, 29-28) after three rounds. He improves to 13-0-0.

 

Nikolas “Iron” Motta vs Cameron “Jumpman” VanCamp

Round 1:
Left hooks were exchanged in the opening minute and Motta followed with an overhand right as VanCamp threw a leg kick. VanCamp landed a leg kick soon after and Motta countered with a right hook and a head kick that partially landed. VamCamp landed a one-two after a leg kick from Motta, but Motta cracked him with a left hook. VanCamp recovered quickly, but Motta droped him with a left hook to the nose. Motta immediately swarmed with rapid-fire right hands on the ground as VanCamp covered up, and the fight was stopped.

Winner: Nikolas Motta by TKO (Punches) at 3:49 of round one. He improves to 13-4-0.
