Abusupiyan “Abus” Magomedov vs Dustin Stoltzfus

Round 1:
Magomedov stunned Stoltzfus with a front kick to the face in the opening seconds and he dropped him with an uppercut. He followed with two more punches on the ground and Stoltzfus briefly went out, resulting in the brief fight being waved off.

Winner: Abusupiyan Magomedov by TKO (Front Kick & Punches) at 0:19 of round one. He improves to 25-4-1.

 

Nasrat Haqparast vs John “The Bull” Makdessi

Round 1:
Haqparast pawed out with jabs and Makdessi landed a leg kick. Haqparast went high with a head kick attempt that was blocked. He landed a left hook and a liver kick, then went back to throwing jabs. Makdessi landed leg and body kicks as Haqparast circled to his left. After Makdessi landed two more leg kicks, Haqparast responded with a left hook. Makdessi jabbed and threw two side kicks to Haqparast’s ribs. He finished the round with two more side kicks and an overhand right. 10-9 Makdessi due to the strong second-half rally.

Round 2:
The second round began with Haqparast landing a left hook and a body kick. He opened a cut near Makdessi’s left eye with a left cross and followed up with another body kick. The fighters exchanged leg kicks and Makdessi missed with a turning back kick attempt. Makdessi blocked a head kick, but Haqparast landed a one-two and he dropped Makdessi with a counter left hook as Makdessi threw a spinning backfist. Makdessi got back to his feet as Haqparast flurried with punches. The fighters resumed circling and Haqparast landed a left-right combo late in the round. 10-9 Haqparast.

Round 3:
Makdessi landed two body kicks and a quick combination in the final round as he pressed the action. Haqparast landed a front kick to the body and a jab-cross combo. Haqparast caught a kick and countered with an overhand left. He landed a body kick and circled to his left as Makdessi closed in with right hands. Haqparast took Makdessi down and Makdessi quickly escaped to his feet. Haqparast took him back down and kept him there until the bell. 10-9 Haqparast.

Winner: Nasrat Haqparast by Unanimous Decision (30-27, 30-27, 29-28) after three rounds. He improves to 14-5-0.

 

Fares “Smile Killer” Ziam vs Michal “Mad Dog” Figlak

Round 1:
Figlak blocked an early head kick from Ziam and fired back with a right hook. Ziam jabbed and landed a leg kick, then followed with another one. A lead left hook and a leg kick scored for Ziam, and Figlak backed up momentarily. Figlak clinched, but Ziam used a body-lock takedown to get him down into side control. Figlak got a leg in and kicked him off, then rose to his feet. Figlak landed a hard left hook to the body and Ziam landed a short right elbow. Figlak clinched with him again and Ziam reversed it against the cage. He attempted a hip toss, which Figlak defended, but Ziam then reversed a Figlak takedown and wound up on top. Figlak attempted an armbar before the bell. 10-9 Ziam.

Round 2:
After an early clinch, Figlak pressed forward with a three-punch combo and Ziam landed a body kick. He took Figlak down and passed to half-guard. Ziam looked to set up a Brabo choke, but Figlak avoided danger and got back to full guard. He stood against the cage and separated from the clinch. Ziam landed a knee to the body and Figlak dropped levels for a takedown. Ziam defended and he rocked Figlak with a spinning back elbow. Figlak dropped to his knees and Ziam followed up with punches. Figlak recovered and Ziam settled into his guard. Late in the round, Ziam passed straight to mount, but time expired soon after. 10-9 Ziam.

Round 3:
Ziam struck first with an overhand right in the second round and he backed Figlak up with a chopping leg kick. Figlak blocked a head kick, but Ziam attacked his leg again and Figlak scored a brief takedown. The fight returned to the feet and Ziam landed a knee to the body. He picked Figlak up and dumped him to the mat. Figlak postured for an armbar from the bottom and then took Ziam’s back in a scramble. He mounted Ziam and dropped punches until Ziam swept from the bottom and wound up in Figlak’s half-guard. Ziam landed an elbow and two punches from the top before the bell. Back-and-forth final round. 10-9 Ziam.

Winner: Fares Ziam by Unanimous Decision (30-27, 30-27, 29-28) after three rounds. He improves to 13-4-0.

 

Benoit “God of War” St. Denis vs Gabriel “Fly” Miranda

Round 1:
St. Denis opened the fight with a body kick and Miranda took him down. St. Denis kicked him off and stood up, and Miranda held him in a guillotine choke. St. Denis escaped and he landed a lead right hook. Miranda fired back with three right hands, but St. Denis dropped him to a knee with a spinning backfist. Miranda recovered and St. Denis took him down against the base of the cage. He stood over Miranda and referee Jason Herzog brought the fight back to the feet. St. Denis dropped Miranda with punches and followed with more on the ground. He passed to side control and dropped elbows to Miranda’s face. He eventually stood up and allowed Miranda to follow. St. Denis dropped him with a right-left combo shortly before the bell. 10-8 St. Denis.

Round 2:
St. Denis dropped Miranda with a right hook early in the second round and followed with three left hands on the ground for an impressive stoppage.

Winner: Benoit St. Denis by TKO (Punches) at 0:16 of round two. He improves to 10-1-0, 1 NC.

 

Cristian “El Niño Problema” Quiñonez vs Khalid “The Warrior” Taha

Round 1:
Quiñonez pressed forward with long jabs in the opening minute and Taha countered with a lead left hook. He followed with a left-right combo and Quiñonez jabbed again. Taha landed a right hook as Quiñonez threw a leg kick. Quiñonez used his jab to set up an overhand right and he dropped Taha to his knees with a right hook seconds later. Taha flopped to his back as Quiñonez landed three more right hands and the fight was stopped.

Winner: Cristian Quiñonez by TKO (Punches) at 3:15 of round one. He improves to 18-3-0.

 

Stephanie Egger vs Ailin “Fiona” Perez

Round 1:
Egger took Perez down early in the fight with a headlock into the scarf hold position. Perez freed her head and got to guard, where she postured for an armbar. Egger avoided danger and passed to side control, where she landed short right hands. Egger followed with elbows, but Perez managed to scramble up to her feet and she took Egger down momentarily. The fighters stood and Perez defended against a headlock throw, but Egger got her down anyway and worked from the scarf hold position again. Egger landed two elbows and then tried to take Perez’s back. Perez stood and broke free from the clinch. She landed a big spinning backfist and clinched, but Egger reversed it against the cage. 10-9 Egger.

Round 2:
The second round began with another clinch against the cage and Perez kneed Egger’s thigh. Egger attempted a rolling kimura and wound up on the bottom with Perez in side control. Egger powered out from the bottom and the fighters stood, with Egger holding Perez against the fence. She swept out Perez’s leg and took top position on the ground in half-guard. Egger took Perez’s back when she rolled over and Perez tried unsuccessfully to shake her off. Egger hunted for a rear-naked choke and Perez defended, but Egger secured it on her second try and Perez tapped out with seconds remaining in the round.

Winner: Stephanie Egger by Submission (Rear-Naked Choke) at 4:54 of round two. She improves to 8-3-0.
