Marcin “Tybur” Tybura vs Alexander “King Kong” Romanov

Round 1:
Romanov took Tybura’s back and suplexed him down to the mat. Tybura tried to stand against the cage and Romanov kneed him in the thigh. He landed right hands to Tybura’s face until Tybura stood up. Romanov continued to knee Tybura’s thighs and he suplexed him to the ground again. He prevented Tybura from standing up and landed left hands to the side of his face. More punches scored for Romanov, who landed an elbow as well. The round ended with Romanov landing more knees to Tybura’s thigh and left hands to his face. Complete domination. 10-8 Romanov.

Round 2:
Tybura fought off a clinch in the second round and Romanov noticeably slowed down. Tybura landed a lead left hook and time was called soon after when Romanov was kicked in the groin. The fight resumed and Tybura landed a one-two. He stuffed another Romanov takedown attempt and Romanov fell when throwing a head kick. Tybura took top position in side control and landed short punches, then moved to North-South position. Romanov tried to scramble up to his feet and Tybura took his back, but Romanov shook him off just before the bell and finished the round by landing punches to the side of Tybura’s head. 10-9 Tybura.

Round 3:
The final round began with an exchange of liver kicks. Tybura landed a left hook and a front kick to the body. He jabbed and Romanov landed a lunging one-two. Romanov missed badly with a wild spinning backfist attempt. Tybura landed a left hook to Romanov’s face and a right hand to the body. He followed with a body kick and an overhand left as Romanov continued to slow down. Tybura landed a right hook late in the fight and Romanov attempted a Superman Punch. 10-9 Tybura.

Winner: Marcin Tybura by Majority Decision (29-28, 29-28, 28-28) after three rounds. He improves to 23-7-0.

 

Jared “Flash” Gordon vs Leonardo Santos

Round 1:
Little transpired in the first two minutes and Santos was warned for outstretching his fingers. Gordon landed a right hand and a leg kick after the restart, then charged forward with three more punches that came up short. Santos landed two leg kicks and Gordon answered with an overhand right. He flurried with punches to Santos’s body and then clinched with him against the cage. Gordon continued to attack Santos’s body with punches and he briefly took his back in a late clinch. 10-9 Gordon.

Round 2:
Action again remained sparse on the feet in the second round, with Santos landing occasional leg kicks and Gordon targeting his body with right hands. Santos eventually clinched and Gordon blatantly grabbed the fence in order to prevent Santos from taking him down. The oul went undetected and the fighters battled for position against the cage. Gordon reversed the clinch and he landed four punches to Santos’s body before Santos circled away. 10-9 Gordon.

Round 3:
Gordon took advantage of a slowing Santos by pressuring him with one-two combos in the final round. He kept Santos on the defensive and landed quick jabs as well. Gordon remained the aggressor with his strikes and Santos eventually dropped levels for a takedown. Gordon sprawled and he landed numerous hammerfists to the side of Santos’s head. The fighters stood and the lacklustre fight ended in a clinch. 10-9 Gordon.

Winner: Jared Gordon by Unanimous Decision (30-27, 30-27, 30-27) after three rounds. He improves to 19-5-0.

 

Sean “The Sniper” Woodson vs Luis Saldaña

Round 1:
Woodson closed in with lead right hands early in the fight, but Saldaña circled away and he countered with leg kicks and short left hooks. Woodson missed with a spinning backfist, but he continued to press forward and Saldaña dropped him with a counter left hook. Woodson was badly dazed as he got back to his feet, but Saldaña did not follow up at all. Woodson recovered and Saldaña dropped him again with a stiff jab. Rather than following up with punches, Saldaña put his hands up to fire up the crowd. The fight was not stopped, so Saldaña then rushed in and landed a blatantly illegal knee to Woodson’s head on the ground. Time was called and Saldaña was docked a point for the foolish foul. The fight continued after a minute and little transpired late in the round. 9-9.

Round 2:
The pace slowed in round two and Saldaña jabbed from a distance. He threw leg kicks as Woodson moved forward with lead right hands. Saldaña took Woodson down and moved from half-guard into side control, but Woodson trapped him in a buggy choke from the bottom. He maintained the choke all the way until the bell, but Saldaña refused to submit. 10-9 Woodson.

Round 3:
The final round began with an exchange of lead left hooks. Woodson landed a right hand and Saldaña tried unsuccessfully for a takedown against the cage. The fighters separated and Woodson landed a counter right hook as Saldaña stepped forward. Sloppy punches were exchanged as both fighters fatigued. Saldaña landed a spinning backfist and attempted a late takedown, but Woodson reversed it and the fighters returned to their feet. Uneventful final round. 10-9 Saldaña.

Result: Split Draw (29-27, 28-28, 27-29) after three rounds. Woodson moves to 9-1-1, while Saldaña is now 16-7-1.

 

Ange “The Last Ninja” Loosa vs A.J. “The Ghost” Fletcher

Round 1:
Loosa kept his distance early in the fight and alternated between jabs and leg kicks. Fletcher answered with a step-in elbow and a lead left hook. Loosa landed a left hook to Fletcher’s body and Fletcher landed a right hand in response. Loosa blocked a head kick, but Fletcher landed one to the body. Loosa scored with two right hooks and a body kick. He landed another right hand that snapped Fletcher’s head back. Fletcher threw a body kick, but Loosa countered with quick right uppercuts in close and he prevented Fletcher from taking him down. Loosa landed one more uppercut and scored a takedown before the bell. 10-9 Loosa.

Round 2:
Fletcher continued to press forward in round two, but Loosa conntected repeatedly with right hooks. Fletcher bled from cuts on the bridge of his nose and below his right eye. Loosa took him down, but Fletcher powered out from the bottom and got back to his feet. Loosa jabbed and followed with more right hands, but Fletcher continued to walk forward. He landed a combination and hurt Loosa, who wilted against the cage and fell to his knees. Fletcher landed more punches on the ground and Loosa got back to his feet. Fletcher teed off with punches, and the fight was almost stopped, but Fletcher punched himself out and he resorted to shooting at Loosa’s lower legs for a takedown. Loosa sprawled and punched the side of an exhausted Fletcher’s head until the end of the round. 10-9 Fletcher.

Round 3:
Fletcher’s punches were slow and laboured in the final round, and he slipped after attempting a front kick. Loosa allowed him to get back to his feet and then flurried to Fletcher’s head and body. Fletcher shot in for a desperation takedown and Loosa easily stuffed it. He took top position in Fletcher’s half-guard and punished him with punches and elbows. Fletcher held on from the bottom and Loosa landed short elbows and right hands for the next three and a half minutes. 10-9 Loosa. Could be a 10-8.

Winner: Ange Loosa by Unanimous Decision (29-27, 29-28, 29-28) after three rounds. He improves to 9-3-0.

 

Amir “The Prince” Albazi vs Francisco “Sniper” Figueiredo

Round 1:
Figueiredo opened the fight with body kicks in the opening minute, but Albazi caught a leg kick and tripped him to the mat. He stood over Figueiredo once, then settled into his guard and landed punches to Figueiredo’s face. Figueiredo kicked him off and returned to his feet. He grabbed the cage, but Albazi got him back down anyway. Figueiredo tried to spin into a kneebar, but Albazi countered by taking his back. He locked on a rear-naked choke and Figueiredo tapped out.

Winner: Amir Albazi by Submission (Rear-Naked Choke) at 4:34 of round one. He improves to 15-1-0.

 

Qileng “Mongolian Murderer” Aori vs Jay “The Joker” Perrin

Round 1:
Perrin landed an early left hook to the body and Aori caught a body kick. Perrin pulled his leg free and punches were exchanged. Aori hurt Perrin with a lead left hook and Perrin retreated. He managed to clinch with Aori against the cage, but Aori broke free and he landed a right-left combo. Later in the round, Aori landed a right hook and a leg kick. Perrin clinched and finally got Aori down. He landed three punches from the top before the bell. 10-9 Aori.

Round 2:
Aori landed an early one-two and a jumping knee in the second round. Perrin shook it off and he took Aori down into half-guard. Aori worked back to his feet against the cage and he separated from the clinch. Aori stunned Perrin with an overhand right, but Perrin recovered quickly and leg kicks were exchanged. Aori landed a hard calf kick and a right hand, which prompted Perrin to clinch. As the fighters separated, both landed right hands. Perrin pressed forward with punches late in the close round. 10-9 Aori by a slim margin due to damage.

Round 3:
Punches were exchanged right away in the final round and Perrin secured one clinch against the cage. Aori broke free once, but Perrin secured a takedown and then held him against the fence after Aori rose to his feet. Perrin peppered him with left hands to the face and he followed with short elbows over the top. Aori finally escaped from the clinch with just over one minute remaining. Perrin landed a leg kick and grazed with a spinning backfist. He followed with a front kick to the body and shot in for a takedown, but Aori stayed on his feet. Perrin hurt him with a lead left hook and closed out the round with a flurry of punches. 10-9 Perrin. Decision could go either way due to the closeness of round two.

Winner: Qileng Aori by Unanimous Decision (29-28, 29-28, 29-28) after three rounds. He improves to 24-9-0.

 

Victor “El Magnifico” Altamirano vs Daniel “Miojo” Lacerda da Silva

Round 1:
Altamirano rushed at Lacerda with punches and a body kick early in the fight, and he followed up with two straight left hands. Lacerda dropped him with a counter right hook and followed with punches on the ground. Altamirano got back to his feet and Lacerda landed a spinning backfist. The fighters exchanged strikes to the body and Altamirano dropped Lacerda with a knee to the body. He immediately swarmed with hammerfists to his face on the ground and mixed in elbows that cut Lacerda on his forehead. Altamirano landed more elbows and punches that opened a second cut. He continued to batter Lacerda with punches and two more elbows until the fight was stopped.

Winner: Victor Altamirano by TKO (Punches & Elbows) at 3:39 of round one. He improves to 11-2-0.
