Jalin “The Tarantula” Turner vs Brad “Quake” Riddell

Round 1:
Turner scored with a hard right hand and a lead left hook early in the fight. Riddell ducked his head and Turner pushed him down to the ground with a mounted guillotine choke. Riddell held on briefly before tapping out.

Winner: Jalin Turner by Submission (Guillotine Choke) at 0:45 of round one. He improves to 13-5-0.

 

Jim “A-10” Miller vs Donald “Cowboy” Cerrone

Round 1:
The fighters exchanged single strikes during a relatively uneventful opening two minutes and Cerrone countered a clinch attempt with a combination. Miller caught a body kick and he took Cerrone down into full guard. He postured up with an elbow and avoided Cerrone’s armbar attempts. Miller landed more elbows, but Cerrone swept into top position and he settled into Miller’s guard. Miller threw up his legs in search of a triangle choke and then switched to an armbar. Cerrone pulled his arm out and tried for a kneebar in the dying seconds. Close round. 10-9 Miller.

Round 2:
Once again, the fighters were cautious in the second round until exchanging kicks. Cerrone’s landed to Miller’s head, but he fell in the process and Miller immediately locked on a guillotine choke as Cerrone stood up. He jumped guard while maintaining the choke and held on to it until Cerrone tapped out.

Winner: Jim Miller by Submission (Guillotine Choke) at 1:32 of round two. He improves to 35-16-0, 1 NC.

 

Ian “The Future” Garry vs “Gifted” Gabriel Green

Round 1:
Garry circled on the outside and kicked at Green’s leg during the opening minute. Both men landed right hands at the same time and Garry backed Green up with a three-punch combo. He resumed circling and attempted a high knee that just missed Green’s chin. Green landed a lead right hook, but Garry stunned him with a counter flurry. He followed up with two more punches that froze Green in place again. The fighters clinched briefly with 30 seconds to go and Garry landed a knee. He followed with a flurry of punches and a head kick. 10-9 Garry.

Round 2:
Early in the second round, Garry landed a hard leg kick and he threw a head kick that was partially blocked. Time was called when Green was poked in the eye, but action resumed with both men throwing leg kicks. Garry ducked under hooks from Green and answered with a one-two. Green clinched and Garry reversed with a body-lock takedown into full mount. Green gave up his back and then impressively turned over to his side and took back control himself. The fighters stood with Green maintaining back control. Garry broke away soon after and he landed a knee and a left hook. Green lunged forward with two hooks that landed and Garry cracked him with a right hand in response. Three leg kicks and a big left hook scored for Green before the end of the close round. 10-9 Garry.

Round 3:
Garry dropped Green with a right hook to the temple early in round three. Green recovered and stood up, and he tried to suplex Garry after taking his back. Garry turned into the clinch and landed a knee to Green’s face on the break. He used his jab to keep Green at bay and mixed in overhand rights when opportunities presented themselves. Jab after jab landed for Garry, who prevented Green from closing the distance. Green kicked at Garry’s leg and ate a knee for his efforts. Garry landed one more right hook before the end of the fight. 10-9 Garry.

Winner: Ian Garry by Unanimous Decision (30-27, 30-27, 30-27) after three rounds. He improves to 10-0-0.

 

Dricus “Stillknocks” Du Plessis vs Brad Tavares

Round 1:
Du Plessis charged at Tavares with lunging punches early in the fight and Tavares dropped him to a knee with a counter uppercut. Du Plessis stood and clinched, but Tavares reversed a lateral drop attempt and he wound up on top in Du Plessis’s half-guard. Tavares landed short elbows until Du Plessis escaped to his feet. When the fighters separated, Du Plessis appeared to be fatigued and Tavares hurt him with two right hooks. Du Plessis rose to his feet and Tavares reversed a clinch against the fence. Du Plessis circled free with 15 seconds to go and he landed a spinning backfist. 10-9 Tavares.

Round 2:
Hard strikes were exchanged right away in the second round. Du Plessis cut Tavares around his left eye with a right hand during the exchange and he followed with a head kick. Blood poured from Tavares’s nose as well, but he traded punches with Du Plessis and both men also landed body kicks. Du Plessis scored with an overhand left and a right hook, but Tavares shrugged off a clinch attempt. He kicked at Du Plessis’s leg and body as Du Plessis switched stances. As Du Plessis took a step forward, Tavares popped him with a hard jab to the nose. With seconds to go, Du Plessis rocked Tavares with a right hook, but Tavares recovered before the bell. 10-9 Du Plessis.

Round 3:
The final round began with Du Plessis landing a combination and a head kick. Tavares attempted a head kick of his own that was mostly blocked. He knocked Du Plessis off-balance momentarily with a counter right hook. Du Plessis responded with two flurries of punches that each ended with a body kick. Blood poured from Tavares’s nose again, which appeared to be broken, and Du Plessis landed an overhand right. He backed Tavares up with two straight lefts and a lunging right hand. In the final minute, Du Plessis landed two winging right hooks. He countered a right hand from Tavares with a left hook and the fight ended with both men throwing punches. 10-9 Du Plessis.

Winner: Dricus Du Plessis by Unanimous Decision (29-28, 29-28, 29-28) after three rounds. He improves to 17-2-0.

 

André “Sergipano” Muniz vs Uriah “Primetime” Hall

Round 1:
Muniz struck first with a kick to the body and the fighters circled. Muniz landed a head kick, but it did not appear to faze Hall and he responded with a jab-cross combo. Muniz punched his way into a clinch and he took Hall down into half-guard. Muniz passed to side contol, but Hall did well to get back to full guard from the bottom. Muniz returned to half-guard and then mounted Hall, but he lost the position while trying to set up a mounted triangle choke. Hall scrambled up to his feet and Muniz dragged him back down into back control. 10-9 Muniz.

Round 2:
In the second round, Muniz landed a body kick and a lead right hook, but he was not able to take Hall down. Muniz latched on to Hall’s leg, but Hall maintained his balance. Muniz finally got him down on his third try and he passed to mount at the midway point in the round. Muniz punched from the top and Hall gave up his back. For the remainder of the round, Muniz peppered Hall with right hands to the side of his face until the final ten seconds. Hall scrambled up to his feet and he dropped punches to Muniz’s face while standing over him. 10-9 Muniz.

Round 3:
Muniz secured an early takedown in the final round and he transitioned to Hall’s back while flattening him out. Hall got to a seated position with Muniz still on his back. Muniz threw short right hands to the side of Hall’s face and prevented him from standing up. Hall finally got to his feet with Muniz still on his back. Muniz pulled him back down to the mat and Hall turned over into Muniz’s guard just before the end of the fight. 10-9 Muniz.

Winner: André Muniz by Unanimous Decision (30-27, 30-27, 30-27) after three rounds. He improves to 23-4-0.

 

Maycee “The Future” Barber vs Jessica “Evil” Eye

Round 1:
Eye secured an early Thai clinch and landed two uppercuts before Barber responded with a pair of knees to the body. Eye held her against the cage and Barber countered with elbows over the top that allowed her to reverse the clinch. Eye landed a quick flurry of punches and she held Barber against the fence again, but Barber remained effective with short, slashing elbows. Significant swelling formed above Eye’s right eye as Barber continued to target it with elbows. Eye landed a combination as the fighters separated just before the bell. 10-9 Barber.

Round 2:
Barber landed a nice right cross to begin the second round and Eye clinched with her again. Barber eventually broke free by landing two elbows and Eye immediately clinched once more. Barber pushed her away and landed a head kick, but Eye finally took her down into half-guard. She landed a handful of left hands from the top and mostly focused on keeping Barber down. Eye stayed on top and she closed out the round by landing elbows to the body. Close round. 10-9 Eye.

Round 3:
The final round began with Barber landing a front kick to Eye’s face. She went high with a head kick and Eye came up short with a counter combination. Another head kick landed for Barber, but Eye took her back and held her against the cage. Barber turned into the clinch and broke free with a head kick. Eye shot in for a takedown and ate a right hand for her efforts. Eye connected with a right hook and Barber answered with one of her own, followed by a front kick. Barber fought off another takedown and she landed one more head kick. Eye briefly held her against the cage, but Barber landed a right hook on the break and Eye dove at her ankle. Barber threw hammerfists to the side of Eye’s head and Eye was forced to stand back up. The fight ended in a final clinch. 10-9 Barber.

Winner: Maycee Barber by Unanimous Decision (30-27, 29-28, 29-28) after three rounds. She improves to 11-2-0.

 

Julija Stoliarenko vs Jessica-Rose “Jessy Jess” Clark

Round 1:
Clark opened the fight with a leg kick and a one-two that dropped Stoliarenko to a knee. Stoliarenko recovered and stood up, then took Clark down. She passed to side control and then spun into a far-side armbar. Stoliarenko wrenched back on Clark’s left arm and Clark tapped out just as it appeared to be dislocated at the elbow.

Winner: Julija Stoliarenko by Submission (Armbar) at 0:42 of round one. She improves to 10-6-2.
