Jalin “The Tarantula” Turner vs Jamie Mullarkey

Round 1:
Mullarkey landed right hooks early in the fight and Turner countered with a lead right uppercut and a straight left. Mullarkey landed a big right hand and then clinched. He threw a knee and a right hand in the clinch, but Turner backed him up with a knee and a right hook. Blood poured from Mullarkey’s nose and Turner tagged him with a hard one-two. Mullarkey attempted a head kick and slipped, and Turner punished him with a flurry to the head and body when he stood up. Turner slowed down, but he still landed two lead right hooks. Mullarkey secured a much-needed takedown into side control and he threw short forearm strikes while trying to pass to mount. Turner got back to half-guard and the round came to an end. 10-9 Turner despite the late takedown.

Round 2:
Turner hurt Mullarkey with a knee to the body early in the second round. Mullarkey retreated and seemed to recover somewhat, but he crumpled against the base of the cage after eating a right hook to the jaw. Turner dove in right away with rapid-fire punches as Mullarkey turtled on the ground and the fight was stopped.

Winner: Jalin Turner by TKO (Punches) at 0:46 of round two. He improves to 12-5-0.

 

Marina Rodriguez vs Xiaonan “Fury” Yan

Round 1:
Right hooks were exchanged early in the fight and Yan landed two quick combinations that backed Rodriguez up. She closed the distance again with another flurry and Rodriguez countered with a knee to the chest. Yan landed a quick combo and Rodriguez cracked her with a hard right hook. She landed two calf kicks and Yan took advantage of a brief clinch by landing two short uppercuts. Rodriguez kicked her in the calf again and a clinch ensued against the cage. Time was called when Yan was kneed in the groin. The fight resumed after a minute and Yan landed a side kick to Rodriguez’s upper body. Rodriguez jumped in with a flying knee attempt and Yan landed a right hook counter. She dumped Rodriguez to the mat in the final seconds. 10-9 Yan.

Round 2:
Rodriguez slipped while attempting to clinch in the second round and she fell to her knees, but quickly returned to her feet and both women landed hooks on the break. Rodriguez fired off a five-punch combo and Yan countered it with a lead left hook and a leg kick. Rodriguez charged forward and missed with a right hook, which allowed Yan to clinch and try for a trip takedown. Rodriguez stayed on her feet, but Yan got her down against the cage soon after. She took Rodriguez’s back as the fight returned to the feet. Rodriguez turned into the clinch and prevented Yan from taking her down. Yan landed an elbow on the break and Rodriguez countered another clinch with a knee. She held Yan against the fence, but Yan reversed it and both women landed high knees to the body. The close round ended with Rodriguez landing a hard right hook. 10-9 Yan.

Round 3:
Yan grazed Rodriguez’s face with a side kick to begin the final round and both women landed jabs. Rodriguez put together a combination and Yan spun her around with a counter left hook. Two leg kicks and another left hook scored for Yan, who circled to her left and jabbed until Rodriguez clinched. Rodriguez landed an elbow and Yan pushed her away with a front kick to the body. Left hooks landed for both women simultaneously and Yan opened a cut near Rodriguez’s right eye. A big left hook scored for Yan, but Rodriguez held a brief Thai clinch and landed knees to the body and a right hook. She jumped in with a flying knee to the body just as Yan threw a spinning backfist, and time expired seconds later. Very close fight. 10-9 Rodriguez due to the strong finish.

Winner: Marina Rodriguez by Split Decision (29-28, 29-28, 28-29) after three rounds. She improves to 16-1-2.

 

Nicolae “Nick” Negumereanu vs Kennedy “African Savage” Nzechukwu

Round 1:
Nzechukwu pawed out with jabs and Negumereanu landed an overhand right in response. Nzechukwu continued to jab and he mixed in occasional left hands, but the action remained sparse. Nzechukwu landed a body kick and time was called when Negumereanu was poked in the eye. Nzechukwu was warned and the fight continued. Nzechukwu landed another kick to the body and Negumereanu countered with a leg kick. Nzechukwu landed two straight lefts and Negumereanu answered with a pair of right hands. 10-9 Nzechukwu in an uneventful round.

Round 2:
Negumereanu looked to close the distance in the second round and Nzechukwu used hard jabs to keep him at bay. Negumereanu was able to secure a clinch and he held Nzechukwu against the cage while kneeing him in the thigh. Negumereanu briefly got Nzechukwu down to a knee and then continued to throw knees after Nzechukwu stood up. The fighters were separated and Nzechukwu landed a jab and a front kick to the body. Negumereanu came up short with right hands as Nzechukwu jabbed. He bloodied Negumereanu’s nose with jabs and then targeted it with straight left hands. Negumereanu clinched before the bell. Another close round. 10-9 Negumereanu by a slim margin.

Round 3:
Time was called early in the final round when Negumereanu was poked in the eye again. This one was much more severe and he needed several minutes to recover. Nzechukwu was docked one point and he landed a big knee after the restart, but Negumereanu fired back with right hooks. He countered a flying knee from Nzechukwu by taking him down. Nzechukwu worked back to his feet and he landed jabs and straight lefts. Negumereanu stepped forward with wild right hooks and he landed two of them. Nzechukwu continued to jab and he landed a hard overhand left. Negumereanu landed two hard right hooks late in the fight and Nzechukwu responded with two combinations. 9-9. Scores could be all over the place.

Winner: Nicolae Negumereanu by Split Decision (29-27, 29-27, 27-29) after three rounds. He improves to 12-1-0.

 

Maryna “The Iron Woman” Moroz vs Mariya “Demonslayer” Agapova

Round 1:
Both fighters were tenative in the opening 50 seconds until Moroz clinched and tried to take Agapova down. Agapova used her forearm to push Moroz’s head down and she landed hammerfists to the side of her face. Moroz eventually got the takedown into back control and she worked for a rear-naked choke. Agapova defended well and she eventually escaped into top position. Moroz immediately transitioned from a triangle choke to an armbar from her back. Agapova escaped from both and she took Moroz’s back. Moroz stood up and shook Agapova off, then held her against the fence and stomped on her foot. 10-9 Moroz.

Round 2:
Moroz punched her way into a clinch to begin the second round and the fighters traded knees to the body. Moroz took Agapova down directly into back control. The cage prevented Moroz from sinking in both hooks, so she pulled Agapova away from the fence and used an arm-triangle choke set up to pass to mount. Moroz dropped elbows to Agapova’s face and Agapova gave up her back again. Moroz threw punches to both sides of Agapova’s face and then locked on a tight arm-triangle choke when Agapova rolled to her side. Agapova held on for a few seconds and then tapped out.

Winner: Maryna Moroz by Submission (Arm-Triangle Choke) at 3:27 of round two. She improves to 11-3-0.

 

Umar Nurmagomedov vs Brian “Boom” Kelleher

Round 1:
Nurmagomedov held a clear speed advantage early on and he landed lead right hooks and question mark kicks. Kelleher clinched and Nurmagomedov reversed it against the cage. He managed to get Kelleher down to a knee on his second try. Kelleher stood, but Nurmagomedov took his back and tripped him again. He locked on a rear-naked choke and Kelleher quickly tapped out.

Winner: Umar Nurmagomedov by Submission (Rear-Naked Choke) at 3:15 of round one. He improves to 14-0-0.

 

Tim Elliott vs Tagir Ulanbekov

Round 1:
Ulanbekov jabbed and landed counter right hands as Elliott threw unorthodox leg kicks. Elliott took Ulanbekov down, but Ulanbekov was able to get back to his feet and he landed a right hand and a body kick. Elliott tried for another takedown, but Ulanbekov reversed on the way down and the fighters stood up. Elliott secured a proper takedown and Ulanbekov worked his way back up. Time was called when Ulanbekov was poked in the eye. Elliott protested his warning and the fight continued. Ulanbekov jabbed, but Elliott landed a massive left hook. He took Ulanbekov down and landed a knee to his face on the way up. 10-9 Elliott due to the late rally.

Round 2:
Elliott pressed forward in the second round and Ulanbekov countered with jab-cross combos. He took Elliott down, but Elliott rose to his feet and he scored with a nice one-two. As the fighters separated from a clinch, Elliott landed two left hooks while illegally grabbing on to Ulanbekov’s glove. He was warned for the infraction and promptly took Ulanbekov down. Elliott almost got to mount, but Ulanbekov was able to explode out from the bottom. Back on the feet, Elliott landed two short elbows in a clinch. He tried to take Ulanbekov down and Ulanbekov stuffed it. Ulanbekov then attempted a takedown of his own and Elliott stayed on his feet until the bell. Closer round. 10-9 Elliott.

Round 3:
Ulanbekov was cut near his left eye due to a clash of heads early on. He fought through it and landed two knees to the body. Ulanbekov dumped Elliott to the mat and took his back on the way up. Ulanbekov hopped on Elliott’s back and secured a body triangle, then pulled Elliott down to the ground and threatened with a neck crank. Elliott defended and Ulanbekov threw left hands to the side of his head until the end of the fight. 10-9 Ulanbekov. The decision could go either way.

Winner: Tim Elliott by Unanimous Decision (29-28, 29-28, 29-28) after three rounds. He improves to 18-12-1.

 

Ludovit “Mr. Highlight” Klein vs Devonte “King Kage” Smith

Round 1:
Smith kicked at Klein’s lead leg and body from a distance during the opening minute. Klein lunged forward with two punches and a liver kick. Smith blocked a head kick and he landed a right cross and a body kick in return. Klein hurt Smith with a straight left and jumped in with a knee to the body. Smith held on in an effort to buy time to recover, but Klein landed more knees to his body and thigh. The fighters were separated with just over 30 seconds remaining and Klein stunned Smith with a head kick. Smith recovered and tied him up in another clinch until the bell. 10-9 Klein.

Round 2:
Smith opened the second round with a series of kicks to Klein’s upper body. He followed up with two head kicks that Klein partially blocked. The fighters clinched and Klein landed a knee and a left hand on the break. Smith caught a body kick and tried to shoot in for a takedown. Klein defended well and he backed Smith up against the cage. More short knees scored for Klein until the fighters were separated. Smith shot in for a takedown and Klein defended impressively while balancing on one leg. The fighters clinched again and Klein landed shoulder strikes to Smith’s jaw. 10-9 Klein.

Round 3:
The final round began with Smith throwing two head kicks, but Klein hurt him with a front kick to the liver. Smith backed up to the cage and Klein landed two more body kicks. Smith recovered in a clinch and he threw knees to Klein’s ribs. Body kicks were exchanged after a brief separation and another clinch followed. Klein circled away and Smith landed a right-left combo. Klein answered with a kick to the body, but Smith backed him up with a jab-cross combination. He followed up with a knee and an elbow as Klein began to slow down. In the final 30 seconds, Klein grazed with a spinning back elbow and he attempted a head kick shortly before the final bell. Close round due to Smith’s second-half rally. 10-9 Smith by a slim margin.

Winner: Ludovit Klein by Split Decision (30-27, 29-28, 28-29) after three rounds. He improves to 18-4-0.

 

Dustin “The Hanyak” Jacoby vs Michał “Hussar” Oleksiejczuk

Round 1:
Jacoby landed an early body kick and Oleksiejczuk answered with an overhand left and a lead right hook. Time was called when Oleksiejczuk was poked in the eye. Action resumed and Oleksiejczuk, bleeding from his right eye, landed a right-left combo. He scored a brief takedown, but Jacoby got back to his feet. Oleksiejczuk remained the aggressor with his punches until Jacoby clinched with him and held him against the cage. Oleksiejczuk broke free and both men landed left hooks. Late in the round, Oleksiejczuk landed a one-two combo. 10-9 Oleksiejczuk.

Round 2:
Early in the second round, Jacoby countered a left hand from Oleksiejczuk with a hard one-two and he swarmed on Oleksiejczuk with a barrage of punches. Oleksiejczuk was wobbled once, but he regained his composure and circled away from Jacoby. After trading punches with Oleksiejczuk, Jacoby took him down, but Oleksiejczuk quickly returned to his feet. Jacoby slowed down and Oleksiejczuk became the aggressor with his punches again. Jacoby jabbed while backing up and Oleksiejczuk connected with a left hook. The round ended with Jacoby holding Oleksiejczuk against the fence. 10-9 Jacoby.

Round 3:
Oleksiejczuk walked forward with one-twos in the final round and Jacoby jabbed while moving backward. Time was called when Oleksiejczuk was poked in his left eye. Jacoby was warned, but a point was not deducted. The fight resumed and Oleksiejczuk countered Hacoby’s jab with a lead right hook to the jaw. Jacoby clinched and he tried for a takedown against the cage. He landed short punches to Oleksiejczuk’s body and a knee to the ribs late in the close round. 10-9 Jacoby by a slim margin.

Winner: Dustin Jacoby by Unanimous Decision (29-28, 29-28, 29-28) after three rounds. He improves to 17-5-1.
