Josh Emmett vs Dan “50K” Ige

Round 1:
Emmett dropped Ige with the first punch of the fight – an overhand right – and he followed with punches on the ground. Ige recovered and stood up, then took Emmett down and transitioned to his back. Emmett shook him off and he landed two right hands and a knee as the fighters returned to their feet. Ige landed a head kick, but Emmett barely flinched. Ige jabbed and followed with a right hand while staying outside of Emmett’s punching range. 10-9 Emmett due to the early knockdown, but Ige rebounded well in the second half of the round.

Round 2:
Ige landed a combination early in the second round and he continued to avoid Emmett’s punches. Emmett stuffed a takedown, but Ige wobbled him with a left hook to the temple. Emmett recovered and the fighters separated from a clinch. Ige fired off a right hook over the top and a body kick as Emmett took a step backward. Ige jabbed and Emmett missed with a right hook. He finally closed the distance long enough to land two quick punches late in the round. 10-9 Ige.

Round 3:
Ige’s jab continued to find its mark on Emmett’s nose until Emmett finally fired back with two right hooks. Ige recovered and he resumed jabbing. Emmett’s nose began to bleed and Ige partially landed with an overhand rght to the side of Emmett’s head. The pace began to slow down and Emmett stuffed a takedown. He ducked under an Ige head kick, but Ige landed an uppercut late in the competitive round. 10-9 Emmett, barely. Decision could go either way.

Winner: Josh Emmett by Unanimous Decision (30-27, 29-28, 29-28) after three rounds. He improves to 17-2-0.

 

Dominick “The Dominator” Cruz vs Pedro “The Young Punisher” Munhoz

Round 1:
Munhoz landed two early leg kicks and he followed with a head kick that Cruz ducked under. Cruz landed a quick jab and a right hand, but Munhoz hurt him with a left hook. Cruz stumbled forward and Munhoz closed in with more punches. He rocked Cruz again with a right hand and tried to finish him, but Cruz recovered and he landed a combination of his own. Cruz tripped Munhoz and landed a right uppercut as Munhoz stood back up. Late in the round, Cruz landed two lead left hooks and that led to an exchange of power punches at the bell. 10-9 Munhoz.

Round 2:
Jabs were exchanged in the second round and Cruz caught a kick from Munhoz, but Munhoz pulled his leg free and Cruz stalked him with a fast combination. Cruz stuffed a takedown and he cut Munhoz along the hairline with a left hand during a combination. Cruz continued to flurry with punches until Munhoz landed a leg kick. A lengthy combination of punches and a knee scored for Cruz as Munhoz was frozen in place and unable to respond with anything. Cruz jabbed and landed a left-right combo before the end of the round. 10-9 Cruz.

Round 3:
Munhoz easily stuffed a takedown attempt from Cruz and he charged at him with punches. Cruz covered up and circled to his left, then landed a body kick. Cruz jabbed and darted in with right hands. Munhoz tried to close the distance again and Cruz jabbed before circling away again. He connected with an overhand right to Munhoz’s jaw and tagged him with a three-punch flurry soon after. Munhoz thwarted another Cruz takedown attempt and he landed a body kick, but Cruz caught his leg and tripped him. Munhoz stood back up and Cruz landed three power hooks before the final bell. 10-9 Cruz.

Winner: Dominick Cruz by Unanimous Decision (29-28, 29-28, 29-28) after three rounds. He improves to 24-3-0.

 

Tai “Bam Bam” Tuivasa vs Augusto Sakai

Round 1:
Tuivasa struck first with two lead left hooks after backing Sakai up against the cage. He clinched with Sakai and landed short right hands to the head and body. Sakai reversed the clinch and backed away, but Tuivasa scored with an overhand left that led to another clinch. Sakai landed some nice knees to the body and Tuivasa responded with an elbow over the top. Tuivasa flurried with punches and Sakai tied him up again. Sakai landed more knees and prevented Tuivasa from taking him down. Close round. 10-9 Tuivasa by a slim margin.

Round 2:
Tuivasa hurt Sakai very early in the second round with a lead left hook. Sakai backed up to the cage and Tuivasa closed in with more left and right hooks until a final right hand shut Sakai’s lights out and sent him crashing to the mat.

Winner: Tai Tuivasa by KO (Punches) at 0:26 of round two. He improves to 13-3-0.

 

Bruno “Blindado” Silva vs Jordan “The Beverly Hills Ninja” Wright

Round 1:
Wright landed two hard body kicks and followed with two head kicks that led to an exchange of power punches, with both men landing. Wright backed Silva up to the cage and landed knees to the body, but Silva rocked him with two counter hooks over the top. As Wright staggered and fell, Silva chased after him with more punches. Wright rolled over and tried to survive, but Silva continued to land punches to his face until referee Herb Dean waved off the fight.

Winner: Bruno Silva by TKO (Punches) at 1:28 of round one. He improves to 22-6-0.

 

André “Sergipano” Muniz vs “Ya Boi” Eryk Anders

Round 1:
Anders connected with a left-right combo to begin the fight and Muniz spun him around with a leg kick. He took Anders down into half-guard and then passed to side control. Anders did well to scramble up to his feet, but Muniz pulled him back down into back control. Anders tried to shake Muniz off, but Muniz transitioned to a belly-down armbar from the back. He pulled back on Anders’s arm and Anders tapped out.

Winner: André Muniz by Submission (Armbar) at 3:13 of round one. He improves to 22-4-0.

 

Erin “Cold Blooded” Blanchfield vs Miranda “Fear The” Maverick

Round 1:
Maverick jabbed and Blanchfield landed two leg kicks in the opening seconds. As Maverick darted in with punches, Blanchfield took her down and threw knees to the body from a partial back control. Maverick tried to stand up and Blanchfield pulled her back down. Maverick rolled to her back and Blanchfield worked from the top in Maverick’s half-guard. Maverick scrambled up to her feet and Blanchfield tripped her again. Blanchfield looked to set up a keylock on Maverick’s left arm, but Maverick powered out and stood up before the bell. 10-9 Blanchfield.

Round 2:
Blanchfield stepped forward with a pair of left-right combos, then threw Maverick to the mat and used a modified Brabo choke to keep her down. Maverick was able to escape to her feet very briefly, only to be taken down again. Blanchfield passed to a top-side crucifix and she landed elbows and punches to Maverick’s face as Maverick tried to buck and escape. Blanchfield moved to North-South position and then wrenched on a kimura attempt on Maverick’s right arm. She switched to an armbar and Maverick defended well by trapping Blanchfield in a head scissors with her legs. 10-9 Blanchfield, if not a 10-8.

Round 3:
Blanchfield blocked a head kick in the final round, but Maverick landed a kick to the body and she took Blanchfield’s back in a clinch against the fence. Blanchfield turned into the clinch, then used a leg-sweep takedown to get Maverick down. She transitioned to mount and then took Maverick’s back. Maverick rolled to her side and Blanchfield worked from top position in Maverick’s half-guard. She landed three elbows and passed to side control. In the final minute, Blanchfield moved back to mount and she dropped punches to Maverick’s face that forced her to give up her back again. Blanchfield stayed on her back until the final bell. 10-8 Blanchfield.

Winner: Erin Blanchfield by Unanimous Decision (30-27, 30-27, 30-27) after three rounds. She improves to 8-1-0.

 

Ryan “The Wizard” Hall vs Darrick Minner

Round 1:
Hall landed two body kicks early in the fight and Minner fired back with kicks to his lead leg and looping right hooks. Hall got him down and immediately tried for a leg lock. Minner escaped and Hall transitioned to a front headlock and a triangle choke attempt. The fighters stood and Minner cracked Hall with two right hooks. Hall rolled and initiated a scramble on the ground. He stood up and Minner scored with three more right hooks. Minner took Hall down and Hall used a heel hook attempt to sweep into top position. He threw short right hands to Minner’s face until the bell. Close round. 10-9 Minner due to damage.

Round 2:
Minner scored with two right hooks in the second round and Hall rolled forward. Minner entered his guard on the ground and Hall threw up his legs for a triangle choke and then an armbar. Minner slammed his way free once, but Hall trapped him in a modified triangle choke and blasted him with elbows to the forehead and temple. Minner eventually pulled his head out, but not before Hall landed even more elbows. Hall switched to an omoplata and he landed hammerfists to the side of Minner’s head until the end of the round. 10-9 Hall.

Round 3:
Minner took Hall down early in round three and Hall immediately countered with a triangle choke from the bottom. He transitioned to a heel hook and Minner escaped by using his other leg to push Hall away and break his grip. Hall passed to mount and smothered Minner until he was able to lock on an arm-triangle choke. Minner prevented him from passing to side control to tighten the choke, but Hall stayed on top and he landed elbows to Minner’s face in the final seconds. 10-9 Hall.

Winner: Ryan Hall by Unanimous Decision (30-27, 30-27, 29-27) after three rounds. He improves to 9-2-0.

 

Tony “PrimeTime” Kelley vs Randy “The Zohan” Costa

Round 1:
Kelley started quickly with a three-punch combination and he continued to chase after Costa with quick punches. Costa just missed with an uppercut and Kelley punches in close as the fighters clinched. Costa backed him up against the cage and threw right hands to the body. After briefly separating, the fighters clinched again and a battle for control ensued against the fence. Kelley broke free and rushed at Costa with left and right hooks that forced Costa to back up. In another clinch, Kelley landed knees to the body and Costa replied with one to Kelley’s face. 10-9 Kelley.

Round 2:
The second round began with Kelley pinning Costa against the fence as Costa appeared to tire out. Costa was able to break free and he landed a one-two and an uppercut while backing up. Kelley landed two body kicks and a combination, and Costa clinched. Kelley pushed him away, but Costa landed a head kick and an uppercut. Both men landed knees to the body and Kelley’s had far more force behind them. Costa dropped down to his knees and tried for a takedown, but Kelley pushed him down to the mat and struck from the top with punches. He switched to elbows and landed many to the body and head of a turtling Costa until the bout was waved off.

Winner: Tony Kelley by TKO (Elbows) at 4:15 of round two. He improves to 8-2-0.

 

Gillian “The Savage” Robertson vs Priscila “Zombie Girl” Cachoeira

Round 1:
After an early clinch, Robertson scored with a hard right hand and Cachoeira established her jab. Blood began to flow from Robertson’s nose and Cachoeira landed more jabs and an uppercut. Robertson took her down and passed from half-guard to side control while trying to secure a kimura. She let it go and landed a hard elbow to Cachoeira’s face. Robertson mounted Cachoeira and landed elbows and punches. She lost the position when attempting an armbar, but Cachoeira gave up her back and Robertson quickly locked on a no-hooks rear-naked choke. Cachoeira tried to blatantly gouge Robertson’s right eye in an effort to escape, but Robertson maintained her grip on the choke and Cachoeira tapped out.

Winner: Gillian Robertson by Submission (Rear-Naked Choke) at 4:59 of round one. She improves to 10-6-0.
