Amanda Ribas vs Virna “Carcará” Jandiroba

Round 1:
Jandiroba took Ribas down in the opening round, but Ribas countered with a teepee choke from the bottom. Jandiroba escaped and she landed short right hands to Ribas’s body and head. Jandiroba postured up with two elbows and she remained active with more short punches, but the fighters were nevertheless stood up with 20 seconds remaining. Jandiroba dropped Ribas with an overhand right and Ribas quickly stood back up, but she was unsteady on her feet. 10-9 Jandiroba.

Round 2:
Ribas backed Jandiroba up with a counter right hook early in the second round. She followed with a spinning back kick to the body and a quick left-right combo. Jandiroba responded with a body kick and Ribas pawed out with jabs. Jandiroba landed an overhand right and Ribas scored with a kick-punch combo. She reversed a takedown from Jandiroba and wound up on top, but Jandiroba exploded up to her feet immediately. Ribas landed a quick combination and she backed Jandiroba up against the cage. Ribas landed short knees and briefly tripped Jandiroba before the bell. 10-9 Ribas.

Round 3:
Ribas landed a nice counter right hand in the final round and she backed Jandiroba up with more punches and a leg kick. Ribas jabbed and landed another leg kick, then shrugged off a clinch attempt. Jandiroba slowed down and Ribas landed a three-punch combo. She followed with a spinning back kick to the body and stuffed another Jandiroba takedown attempt. Ribas rocked Jandiroba with a head kick and Jandiroba staggered back against the cage. Ribas was unable to follow up and Jandiroba recovered. Ribas landed a jab and an overhand right. Jandiroba tried once more for a takedown, but Ribas sprawled and she closed out the fight with a body kick. 10-9 Ribas.

Winner: Amanda Ribas by Unanimous Decision (29-28, 29-28, 29-28) after three rounds. She improves to 11-2-0.

 

Zubaira “Warrior” Tukhugov vs Ricardo “Carcacinha” Ramos

Round 1:
The fight began with an exchange of lead left hooks and Tukhugov landed another left hand that backed Ramos up momentarily. Tukhugov remained effective with lead left hooks and Ramos struggled to find his range. Tukhugov cracked him with a right-left combo and a cut opened above Ramos’s left eye. Ramos was unable to land anything significant and Tukhugov kept him on the defensive. Two right hands landed for Tukhugov, but Ramos stunned him with a spinning back elbow. Blood began to flow from a cut near Tukhugov’s right eye, which swelled up. 10-9 Tukhugov despite the late comeback.

Round 2:
Tukhugov opened the second round with another overhand right and he kept Ramos on his back foot. Ramos missed with a flurry of hooks that all came up short. Tukhugov jabbed and Ramos landed a leg kick. He followed with a straight right hand and Tukhugov immediately shot in for a takedown. Ramos stayed on his feet and Tukhugov landed a right hook over the top. He followed with a leg kick and a jab while forcing Ramos to back up. Tukhugov landed a combination and he moved away to avoid counterpunches from Ramos. With 20 seconds remaining, Tukhugov took Ramos down. 10-9 Tukhugov.

Round 3:
Ramos connected with a right hook over the top in the final round and Tukhugov landed a hard jab in return. Ramos fought off a clinch attempt and he landed a knee to Tukhugov’s face. Ramos pressed forward with jabs and a right hand, but Tukhugov re-established his jab and he used jabs to set up overhand rights. The fighters exchanged jabs during the final minute and Tukhugov shot in for a takedown. He took Ramos’s back and tripped him very briefly, and the fight ended in a clinch. 10-9 Tukhugov.

Winner: Zubaira Tukhugov by Unanimous Decision (29-28, 29-28, 29-28) after three rounds. He improves to 20-5-1.

 

Albert “Machete” Duraev vs Roman Kopylov

Round 1:
Kopylov jabbed in the opening minute and Duraev repeatedly scored with straight right hands. He landed another right hand and Kopylov checked a leg kick. Duraev followed up on a right hook with a head kick attempt that Kopylov caught. Duraev balanced on one leg as Kopylov backed him up to the cage. The fighters separated and Duraev landed two more right hands. Kopylov fired back with a body kick, left cross combo to close out the round. 10-9 Duraev.

Round 2:
Kopylov dropped Duraev with a left cross to begin the second round, but Duraev quickly recovered and returned to his feet. He clinched with Kopylov and tried to take him down against the cage. Kopylov grabbed the cage and was warned. Action continued and Kopylov took him down into mount. He first looked for an arm-triangle choke, then postured up and dropped elbows to Kopylov’s face. Kopylov tried unsuccessfully to buck him off and Duraev landed more elbows and punches. Duraev continued to score with elbows to Kopylov’s face. Kopylov fought off another arm-triangle choke attempt, but he continued to eat elbows. A bloodied Kopylov gave up his back as Duraev landed punches, and Duraev locked on a rear-naked choke, but time ran out. 10-8 Duraev.

Round 3:
Duraev worked for a takedown during the opening minute of round three, but Kopylov defended well and the fighters separated momentarily. Duraev closed in again and Kopylov defended with a combination. Duraev backed away and an exhausted Kopylov landed a left hook. He began to land jabs and he used them to set up a left cross. Two more jabs landed for Kopylov and he stuffed a takedown. Kopylov then took Duraev down with 20 seconds remaining and he landed left hands to Duraev’s face as the fighters stood back up. 10-9 Kopylov.

Winner: Albert Duraev by Unanimous Decision (30-27, 29-27, 29-27) after three rounds. He improves to 15-3-0.

 

Elizeu “Capoeira” Zaleski dos Santos vs Benoit “God of War” St. Denis

Round 1:
Dos Santos landed a left-right combo to open the fight and the fighters exchanged kicks. Dos Santos was struck in the groin, but the fight continued and St. Denis worked for a takedown against the cage. He got dos Santos down, but dos Santos quickly battled back to his feet. St. Denis landed two body kicks and dos Santos responded with a leg kick. After an exchange of hooks, dos Santos stuffed a takedown attempt and he threw a head kick and two leg kicks. St. Denis landed two overhand lefts in the final minute and dos Santos responded with a right hook. Back-and-forth round. 10-9 dos Santos due to the more effective strikes.

Round 2:
Hard punches were exchanged right away in the second round and dos Santos landed two right hooks. He fought off a clinch attempt from St. Denis and hurt him with two right hooks and a pair of knees to the face. St. Denis fell to his knees, but he got back to his feet and dos Santos continued to batter him with punches and more knees. Dos Santos wobbled St. Denis with a right hook and he swarmed on him with punches and knees. St. Denis barely remained on his feet and dos Santos continued to land punches. This continued for another minute as dos Santos landed punches and knees. St. Denis eventually backed dos Santos up with two counter hooks and he scored a brief takedown. Dos Santos returned to his feet and he landed more right hands and knees. 10-8 dos Santos. Could even be a 10-7.

Round 3:
Time was called early in the final round when St. Denis was poked in the eye. The fight was allowed to continue without a doctor being called in to check on St. Denis despite him indicating that he could not see. Dos Santos landed a combination and scored a takedown, but St. Denis worked back to his feet. Dos Santos worked for another takedown against the cage and time was called again when St. Denis was kneed in the groin. Dos Santos was docked one point for the foul. Action resumed and dos Santos landed a switch kick to the body before the bell. 9-9.

Winner: Elizeu Zaleski dos Santos by Unanimous Decision (29-26, 29-26, 29-26) after three rounds. He improves to 23-7-0.

 

Michał “Lord” Oleksiejczuk vs Shamil Gamzatov

Round 1:
Both men landed power punches in the opening minute and Oleksiejczuk stunned Gamzatov with a straight left. Gamzatov stumbled back against the cage, but he recovered quickly and countered a combination from Oleksiejczuk with an overhand right. Oleksiejczuk kept the pressure on with punches to Gamzatov’s head and liver. Gamzatov fired back with another right hand, but Oleksiejczuk dropped him with an uppercut to the eye. Gamzatov covered up on the ground as Oleksiejczuk landed punches and the fight was stopped.

Winner: Michał Oleksiejczuk by TKO (Punches) at 3:31 of round one. He improves to 16-4-0, 1 NC.

 

Lerone “The Miracle” Murphy vs Makwan “Mr. Finland” Amirkhani

Round 1:
After a cautious start to the fight, Amirkhani shot in and took Murphy down into side control. He passed to mount, but Murphy quickly fought his way back to half-guard and then full guard. He stood up with Amirkhani on his back. Amirkhani dragged him down two more times and he closed out the round with punches from top position. 10-9 Amirkhani.

Round 2:
Seconds into round two, Amirkhani dropped levels for a takedown and Murphy countered with a perfectly-timed knee. An unconscious Amirkhani fell to his back and the fight was stopped.

Winner: Lerone Murphy by KO (Knee) at 0:14 of round two. He improves to 11-0-1.

 

Andre Petroski vs Yaozong “Totoro” Hu

Round 1:
Petroski started quickly with two overhand lefts and Hu fell while throwing a head kick. Petroski quickly locked on a guillotine choke on the ground and he used it to roll into mount. Hu eventually pulled his head out and he gave up his back. Petroski worked for a rear-naked choke and then switched to a guillotine after Hu scrambled free. The fight returned to the feet and Petroski landed a big left hook. Hu responded with a front kick to the body and he prevented Petroski from taking him down. Petroski landed three more overhand lefts and a body kick, but he began to breathe heavily and slow down. He still landed a counter right hook and two overhand lefts before the bell. 10-9 Petroski.

Round 2:
The second round began with an early takedown from Petroski, who looked for a guillotine choke on the ground, but Hu squirmed free and rose to his feet. Petroski took him down again and landed elbows from the top before moving to North-South position. He held Hu down with a loose arm-triangle choke, but let it go and began striking from side control. Petroski mounted Hu and secured a second arm-triangle choke, but Hu escaped again. In the final minute, Petroski took Hu’s back and worked for a rear-naked choke, but Hu defended until the end of the round. 10-9 Petroski.

Round 3:
Petroski shot in and took Hu down in the final round. He landed short punches and then took Hu’s back while eyeing a rear-naked choke. Hu spun free and tried to stand up, but Petroski pulled him back down with a guillotine choke. Hu escaped to his feet and Petroski landed an uppercut and a left hook on the feet. He took Hu down and hurt him with elbows from the top. Petroski first looked for a keylock on Hu’s right arm, then passed to side control and locked on one more arm-triangle choke. This time, Hu could not hold on and he tapped out.

Winner: Andre Petroski by Submission (Arm-Triangle Choke) at 4:46 of round three. He improves to 7-1-0.

 

Tagir Ulanbekov vs Allan “Puro Osso” Nascimento

Round 1:
Nascimento attacked Ulanbekov’s lead leg with kicks throughout the opening minute and he followed with a three-punch combination. Ulanbekov took him down and avoided a triangle choke attempt. Nascimento remained active from the bottom and he used an armbar attempt to sweep into top position. A scramble ensued and Nascimento attempted a kneebar, but Ulanbekov freed his leg and locked on a tight guillotine choke. He rolled over into a mounted guillotine, and Nascimento was clearly in some trouble, but he managed to escape. Ulanbekov worked from the top in side control and fought off an armbar attempt at the bell. Excellent back-and-forth round. 10-9 Nascimento despite the guillotine.

Round 2:
Ulanbekov closed the distance and worked for a takedown against the cage early in round two. He got Nascimento down and Nascimento countered with a kimura and a straight armbar from the bottom. Ulanbekov escaped, but Nascimento continued to hunt for submissions and he attempted a triangle choke as the round entered its final minute. He spun into an armbar and landed elbows to Ulanbekov’s face as time expired. Another close round. 10-9 Nascimento due to the submission attempts.

Round 3:
Nascimento countered a takedown from Ulanbekov with an inverted triangle armbar attempt in the final round. Ulanbekov escaped and he wound up on top in Nascimento’s half-guard. Nascimento got back to full guard and threw his legs up for a triangle choke. Ulanbekov escaped by passing to half-guard and he landed short left hands. Nascimento struck from the bottom with elbows and Ulanbekov almost passed to mount. Nascimento got back to full guard and tried for a triangle armbar, but Ulanbekov punched his way free. 10-9 Ulanbekov. Very close fight.

Winner: Tagir Ulanbekov by Split Decision (29-28, 29-28, 28-29) after three rounds. He improves to 14-1-0.
