Rafael “Ataman” Fiziev vs Bobby “King” Green

Round 1:
Green landed two left hands early in the fight and an exchange of leg kicks followed. Fiziev came up just short with a winging right hook and he landed more leg kicks. After an exchange of one-twos, Fiziev chased after Green with more kicks. He yelled out after grazing with a right cross and then attacked with leg and body kicks. Green jabbed and Fiziev landed another right hook late in the competitive round. 10-9 Fiziev.

Round 2:
The second round began with both men landing power punches. Fiziev followed with two leg kicks and Green answered with a right hand. He closed in with two more punches and looked for a takedown before releasing the clinch. Fiziev landed a leg kick and two hooks to the body. He hurt Green with a left-right combo, then followed with four more punches as Green bobbed and weaved. Green recovered and landed a combination of his own that was answered by a Fiziev body kick. Another right hook and a leg kick scored for Fiziev, but Green just walked through them and he landed three consecutive right hands. Fiziev alternated between leg kicks and right hands in the final 30 seconds, but he ate a counter uppercut from Green before the bell. 10-9 Fiziev.

Round 3:
Green began the final round with a four-punch combo and a body kick. Fiziev responded with two powerful right hands and a leg kick that led to an exchange of punches as the crowd cheered. Fiziev landed a right hook and Green came back with jab after jab as he began to take the lead in the striking exchanges. He countered a leg kick from Fiziev with a hard one-two that backed Fiziev up. As Green continued to win the boxing exchanges, Fiziev mixed in body kicks. Green jabbed until Fiziev grazed with a head kick. Late in the round, Green landed an elbow and he hurt Fiziev with a right hook, but Fiziev still kept moving forward and the fight ended with a final exchange of punches. 10-9 Green.

Winner: Rafael Fiziev by Unanimous Decision (30-27, 29-28, 29-28) after three rounds. He improves to 10-1-0.

 

Vince “Vandetta” Morales vs Drako “The Great Drakolini” Rodriguez

Round 1:
Following an exchange of jabs in the opening minute, Rodriguez landed a counter one-two as Morales pressed forward. Morales fought through more jabs from Rodriguez in order to land a lead left hook and an overhand right. Rodriguez landed a leg kick and a right hook that was answered by another overhand right from Morales. He secured a body lock in the final minute and tried to take Rodriguez down. Rodriguez maintained his balance and Morales gave up on the clinch. The close round ended with an exchange of right hands. 10-9 Rodriguez by a slim margin.

Round 2:
Morales caught a kick and knocked Rodriguez down with a right hand to begin the second round. He allowed Rodriguez to stand and Rodriguez landed two leg kicks. Both fighters connected with right hooks at the same time and Rodriguez dropped levels for a takedown. He got Morales down very briefly and tried to take his back, but Morales scrambled up to his feet. The process repeated itself a second time and then a third. Morales circled away from Rodriguez on the feet and landed a right hook. Punches were exchanged and Morales flurried to the body and head. Rodriguez fired back with a leg kick and Morales landed an overhand right. Rodriguez scored with a nice right-left combo with 20 seconds remaining and he appeared to narrowly edge out the round. 10-9 Rodriguez.

Round 3:
Morales landed right hands over the top until Rodriguez countered with a one-two in the final round. Morales pressed forward with a combination and both men landed right hooks. Rodriguez backed Morales up with a right hand to the temple and he tried to clinch. Morales shrugged him off and resumed moving forward with right hooks. He tried unsuccessfully for a takedown and landed another right hand on the break. Morales remained the aggressor and he landed one-twos until Rodriguez countered with a body kick. Big punches were exchanged in the final seconds and both men landed hard right hands. 10-9 Morales.

Winner: Vince Morales by Unanimous Decision (30-27, 29-28, 29-28) after three rounds. He improves to 10-5-0.

 

“Atomic” Alonzo Menifield vs Ed “Short Fuse” Herman

Round 1:
The fight began with Menifield landing a hard leg kick and he looked to set up haymaker right hands. Herman blocked and parried, and he snapped Menifield’s head back with a jab. He followed with a lead left hook to Menifield’s right eye and Menifield immediately became defensive as he covered the side of his face and circled away. In the final two minutes, Menifield spun Herman around with a leg kick and he followed with another one soon after. A third leg kick scored for Menifield and Herman began to limp. Little transpired in the final 30 seconds. 10-9 Menifield.

Round 2:
Herman took advantage of a slip from Menifield in the second round by landing punches as he got back to his feet, but Menifield responded with a big flurry that backed Herman up against the cage. Menifield landed right and left hooks as Herman covered up. Herman pushed him away and he walked Menifield down. Menifield slowed, but he still landed two lead left hooks and then hurt Herman with a hard leg kick. Herman limped and switched stances, and Menifield dropped him with a leg kick just as the bell sounded. 10-9 Menifield. Could be a 10-8 due to the leg damage.

Round 3:
Menifield got Herman down into side control early in round three, but he stood up and Herman slowly followed him to his feet. The pace slowed way down and the crowd became restless as Herman struggled to land anything due to not being able to push off from his damaged leg. Menifield lunged forward and Herman countered with three quick punches that stopped Menifield in his tracks. With 30 seconds to go, Menifield missed with a wild haymaker right. 10-9 Menifield.

Winner: Alonzo Menifield by Unanimous Decision (30-27, 30-27, 30-27) after three rounds. He improves to 11-2-0.

 

Jessica Penne vs Karolina Kowalkiewicz

Round 1:
Kowalkiewicz caught an early kick and tripped Penne to the mat, but Penne powered out and she put Kowalkiewicz on her back against the base of the cage. From the top, Penne postured up with punches and Kowalkiewicz countered with upkicks and a kneebar attempt. Penne avoided it and she used a scramble to set up an armbar from the bottom. Kowalkiewicz defended well against the initial armbar, but Penne mounted her and then transitioned to a second armbar. She wrenched back on Kowalkiewicz’s right arm and Kowalkiewicz was reluctantly forced to tap out.

Winner: Jessica Penne by Submission (Armbar) at 4:32 of round one. She improves to 14-5-0.

 

Manel “Starboy” Kape vs Ode “The Jamaican Sensation” Osbourne

Round 1:
Kape landed a nice right-left combo early in the fight, but Osbourne tripped him after catching a kick and he landed a left hand on the way up. A straight left landed for Kape and Osbourne countered with a body kick. Kape landed an overhand left and Osbourne immediately cracked him with one of his own. Cautious punches were exchanged during the next minute until Kape jumped in with a flying knee that collapsed Osbourne to the mat. Kape landed punches on the ground and the fight was stopped.

Winner: Manel Kape by KO (Flying Knee & Punches) at 4:44 of round one. He improves to 16-6-0.

 

Miles “Chapo” Johns vs Anderson “Berinja” dos Santos

Round 1:
Dos Santos opened the action with a head kick attempt and Johns fired back with a one-two and a hard leg kick. He followed up with a lead left hook and another leg kick that spun dos Santos around. Johns continued to alternate between jabs and leg kicks, and both men connected with overhand rights. After another kick from Johns, dos Santos could barely put any weight on his left leg at all, but he continued to limp forward in a southpaw stance. Johns landed right hooks and kept his distance in the final minute. 10-9 Johns.

Round 2:
Johns landed straight right hands and a lead left hook early in the second round. Dos Santos answered with a knee, but Johns continued to tag him with punches and dos Santos struggled to find his range as he limped forward. Johns fought off two takedown attempts and he landed a short uppercut. With dos Santos still in a southpaw stance, Johns began to attack his right leg with kicks and he followed up with a right hook. 10-9 Johns.

Round 3:
The final round began with an exchange of snappy jabs and dos Santos landed two leg kicks. He countered a right hand from Johns with a one-two, but Johns used a left hook to the body to set up a massive right hand that sent an unconscious dos Santos crashing to the mat.

Winner: Miles Johns by KO (Punch) at 1:16 of round three. He improves to 12-1-0.

 

Melissa Gatto vs Victoria “Fury” Leonardo

Round 1:
Following an exchange of leg kicks, Gatto landed a three-punch combo and she clinched with Leonardo against the cage. She used an inside trip to get Leonardo down and transitioned from a rear-naked choke to an armbar. Leonardo defended and Gatto took her back again. Leonardo managed to spin into Gatto’s guard and fought off another brief armbar attempt. She eventually kicked Leonardo off and both fighters stood up. Leonardo fought off a trip attempt and she landed a head kick in the final seconds. 10-9 Gatto.

Round 2:
Gatto had success with straight right hands in round two and both women landed stiff jabs during a prolonged boxing exchange. Gatto stunned Leonardo with a one-two, but she recovered and connected with an overhand right. Gatto replied with a right hand of her own and she prevented Leonardo from taking her down. After another unsuccessful takedown attempt from Leonardo, the fighters clinched. Gatto pushed Leonardo away and landed a leg kick and a right cross. 10-9 Gatto.

Between rounds, Leonardo indicated that her right arm, which she had previously broken, was not working. The cageside doctor determined that the arm was broken and the fight was waved off.

Winner: Melissa Gatto by TKO (Doctor Stoppage – Broken Arm) at 5:00 of round two. She improves to 7-0-2.

 

Johnny “Kid Kvenbo” Munoz Jr. vs Jamey “The Afro Samurai” Simmons

Round 1:
Very little happened in the first half of round one. The fighters quickly darted in and out with jabs, but nothing substantial landed. Munoz used his jab to set up a right hand and he missed with a head kick attempt. Simmons lunged forward with a one-two and Munoz took him down into side control. Simmons got back to butterfly guard and he scrambled up to his feet before the bell. 10-9 Munoz.

Round 2:
Munoz secured a takedown early in the second round and he quickly transitioned to back control. Munoz flattened Simmons out and threatened with a rear-naked choke, but Simmons rolled to his side and broke Munoz’s grip on the choke. Munoz adjusted and fully sunk in the choke, forcing Simmons to hastily submit.

Winner: Johnny Munoz Jr. by Submission (Rear-Naked Choke) at 2:35 of round two. He improves to 11-1-0.
