Nicolae “Nick” Negumereanu vs Aleksa Camur

Round 1:
Camur established his jab right away and he used it to set up a right cross and a grazing head kick. Negumereanu responded with a right hook and Camur resumed jabbing. He landed a hard left-right combo and followed with an uppercut. Negumereanu answered with an overhand right and more punches that stunned Camur and allowed Negumereanu to take him down into side control. Camur scrambled up to his feet and escaped from Negumereanu’s grip, but Negumereanu walked him down with jabs and right hands. The fighters exchanged looping haymakers in the final minute and Negumereanu connected with a big right hook to the temple. He landed one more combo before the bell. 10-9 Negumereanu.

Round 2:
The pace remained very high in the second round as the fighters traded power punches and Camur scored with two right hooks. Negumereanu held Camur against the fence and threw short knees to Camur’s thighs. Negumereanu was warned for grabbing the cage, but he continued to control the clinch and tried for a trip takedown. Camur used the opportunity to break free from the clinch and he landed two lead left hooks as Negumereanu pressed forward. Negumereanu landed a hard left hook and an overhand right late in the round. 10-9 Negumereanu.

Round 3:
Time was called early in the final round when Camur was kicked in the groin. The fight continued and Negumereanu walked Camur down with right hands as Camur circled to his right and tried to use his jab to keep Negumereanu at bay. Negumereanu eventually clinched at the midway point in the round and Camur shrugged him off. Camur dropped levels for a takedown and Negumereanu stuffed it. He landed a combination to the head and body and pinned Camur against the cage. Negumereanu repeatedly grabbed the cage and was warned three more times by referee Mike Beltran, but still a point was not deducted. The bell sounded to end the fight soon after. 10-9 Negumereanu.

Winner: Nicolae Negumereanu by Split Decision (29-28, 29-28, 28-29) after three rounds. He improves to 10-1-0.

 

Virna “Carcará” Jandiroba vs Kanako Murata

Round 1:
Jandiroba backed Murata up twice with overhand rights in the opening 30 seconds and she appeared to wobble Murata with a follow-up combination. Murata circled to her left and recovered, then clinched with Jandiroba and held her against the fence. Jandiroba tried to jump into a flying triangle choke and Murata made her pay for it with some hard right hands from the top. Jandiroba switched to an armbar and Murata easily defended. A second armbar attempt from Jandiroba had a belly-down Murata in more danger, but she defended well and retook top position in Jandiroba’s guard. Murata passed to half-guard and hunted for a top-side guillotine choke as time expired. 10-9 Jandiroba.

Round 2:
Murata had a significant amount of swelling below her right eye as the second round began and Jandiroba remained effective with overhand rights as she kept Murata on her back foot. Jandiroba landed a head kick and that prompted Murata to clinch. Jandiroba broke free and landed a combination. Murata was unable to block Jandiroba’s punches as her left arm hung low, seemingly as a result of Jandiroba’s armbar in the first round. Jandiroba kept the pressure on and landed a right hand in the final seconds. 10-9 Jandiroba.

Between rounds, the cageside doctor waved off the fight as a result of Murata’s left arm, which appeared to be dislocated at the elbow.

Winner: Virna Jandiroba by TKO (Doctor Stoppage – Arm Injury) at 5:00 of round two. She improves to 17-2-0.

 

Kalinn “Khaos The Ox Fighter” Williams vs Matthew “Semi The Jedi” Semelsberger

Round 1:
Williams attacked Semelsberger’s lead leg with three kicks to open the fight. Semelsberger landed a leg kick of his own and Williams exploded with a flurry of punches. Soon after, Williams wobbled Semelsberger with another barrage of punches that opened a cut on the bridge of Semelsberger’s nose. He recovered and held on as Williams threw right hands to the body. The fighters separated with three minutes remaining and Semelsberger landed a nice counter right hook. He followed with a body kick and another right hand as Williams tried to close the distance. Power punches were exchanged soon after and Williams landed a right hook. He lunged forward with a one-two just before time expired. 10-9 Williams.

Round 2:
The second round began with both men landed power hooks and Williams appeared to get the better of the exchange. Semelsberger responded with a pair of overhand rights, but Williams countered a third right hand from Semelsberger with a flurry to the body that led to a brief clinch. More punches were exchanged and Semelsberger grazed with a head kick. Williams landed two counter right hands and then rushed forward with wild punches that missed their mark. Williams attacked with another charging combination of punches late in the round and he landed two hooks to the body. 10-9 Williams.

Round 3:
Williams followed up on a front kick to the body with a looping combination in the final round. Big punches were exchanged and Williams finished with a one-two. Semelsberger hurt Williams with a hard leg kick, but Williams still connected with a three-punch flurry and Semelsberger’s face reddened. With 90 seconds to go, Semelsberger landed another hard leg kick and Williams circled away to his left. Williams stepped forward with two hooks and he countered Semelsberger’s late-fight aggression with a pair of right hands. Close final round. 10-9 Semelsberger by a slim margin.

Winner: Kalinn Williams by Unanimous Decision (30-27, 29-28, 29-28) after three rounds. He improves to 12-2-0.

 

Josh Parisian vs Roque Martinez

Round 1:
Martinez closed the distance right away and he clinched with Parisian against the cage. Martinez landed short punches in close until Parisian pushed him away. Martinez immediately closed in again and he finished a combination with a standing elbow to the side of Parisian’s head. A second elbow opened a cut beside Parisian’s left eye. Parisian landed a combination that created space momentarily and Martinez cracked him with an overhand right. Another clinch followed and Martinez landed three hard uppercuts. With one minute to go, Martinez landed an overhand right and an uppercut that stunned Parisian and led to one more clinch. Parisian recovered and landed a lead left hook in the final seconds. 10-9 Martinez.

Round 2:
Parisian opened the second round with a front kick to Martinez’s face, but Martinez was unfazed and he secured a clinch. Parisian reversed position and held him against the cage. Martinez punched to the body and Parisian landed a handful of knees. Martinez prevented him from scoring a takedown and time was called when Martinez was kneed in the groin. The fight continued and this time Martinez worked for a takedown from the clinch. Parisian circled out and landed a right hand, then followed with knees to the body and a series of elbows to Martinez’s temple. Martinez countered a takedown attempt with a tight guillotine choke, but Parisian managed to escape as the fighters hit the ground and the round ended in another clinch. 10-9 Parisian.

Round 3:
Martinez chased after Parisian with lead left hooks in the final round and both men landed combinations as Parisian’s left eye swelled up. Martinez clipped him with an overhand right to the temple, then followed with two uppercuts and a standing elbow. Parisian clinched and held him against the cage, but Martinez turned Parisian around and scored with another hard elbow strike. After the fighters separated, Parisian landed a front kick to Martinez’s groin and time was called. Martinez recovered after a moment and he initiated a clinch after the restart. Parisian threw knees to the body and reversed position against the cage. The fighters separated and Martinez attempted a head kick. He closed out the fight with a left hook at the bell. 10-9 Martinez.

Winner: Josh Parisian by Split Decision (29-28, 29-28, 28-29) after three rounds. He improves to 14-4-0.

 

Ricky “The Gladiator” Glenn vs Joaquim “Netto BJJ” Silva

Round 1:
Glenn dropped Silva with a counter left hook very early in the fight as Silva aggressively rushed forward. He swarmed on Silva with punches on the ground, but Silva managed to battle back to his feet. Glenn dropped him face-first with another left hand and followed with punches on the ground until the brief bout was stopped.

Winner: Ricky Glenn by KO (Punches) at 0:37 of round one. He improves to 22-6-1.

 

“King” Casey O’Neill vs Lara Procópio

Round 1:
After an exchange of right hands, Procópio clinched and both women landed knees to the body as they battled for position against the cage. O’Neill broke free and landed a nice left hand that was answered by a right hook from Procópio. More knees were exchanged in another clinch and O’Neill followed with a three-punch flurry. Procópio landed a pair of counter left hooks and a leg kick. O’Neill finished a combination with a body kick, but she ate another right hook from Procópio before the fighters clinched once more. Procópio took O’Neill down into side control, but she could not keep her down and O’Neill scrambled up to her feet. Procópio tripped O’Neill once more just before the bell, but O’Neill reversed into top position and stood up, then landed one right hand before the bell. 10-9 Procópio.

Round 2:
O’Neill opened the second round with a combination and Procópio took her down into half-guard. O’Neill fought her way back to full guard and landed some hard punches from the bottom. Procópio postured up with elbows and O’Neill looked to set up a submission before scrambling up to her feet. Procópio began to tire and O’Neill took her down. She landed short forearm strikes to Procópio’s face and avoided a Procópio armbar attempt. Procópio used an ankle pick to set up a heel hook attempt, but O’Neill easily avoided danger and she closed out the round strong with right hands to Procópio’s face and body from the top. 10-9 O’Neill.

Round 3:
The final round began with both women landing punches and knees in a brief clinch before O’Neill tripped Procópio to the mat. She moved to a rear crucifix and landed numerous elbows and hammerfists to the sides of Procópio’s head. O’Neill then took Procópio’s back in search of a rear-naked choke before transitioning to mount. Procópio rolled to her side and O’Neill trapped her in a body triangle from back control. Procópio stood with O’Neill on her back and O’Neill locked on a tight rear-naked choke. Procópio fell to the mat and was rendered unconscious from the choke, ending the fight.

Winner: Casey O’Neill by Technical Submission (Rear-Naked Choke) at 2:54 of round three. She improves to 7-0-0.
