Brad “Quake” Riddell vs Drew Dober

Round 1:
Dober struck first with kicks to Riddell’s leg and body in the opening minute and Riddell responded with a pair of right hands. Dober hurt him with a left cross and followed with more punches as a wounded Riddell tried to take him down. As Riddell recovered, he managed to get Dober down very briefly, but Dober returned to his feet and broke free. Dober landed a left-right combo and followed with a flurry that backed Riddell up. He scored with another combination and Riddell tagged Dober with a right cross. Two more hard right hands landed for Riddell, who followed with one more before the bell. Excellent round. 10-9 Dober.

Round 2:
Riddell landed another hard right hand in the second round, but Dober cracked him with a four-punch flurry that opened a cut on the bridge of Riddell’s nose and forced him to drop levels for a takedown. Dober stuffed it and he took Riddell down against the cage. Riddell tried to scramble up and Dober threw elbows to the side of his head. Back on the feet, Dober landed a combination and Riddell took him down. He mounted Dober and tried to take his back, but Dober simply powered out and stood up. Both men landed big left hooks and Dober followed with a body kick. He landed a short uppercut and Riddell responded with a one-two. Dober landed a head kick and Riddell fired back with a kick to the body. Close, back-and-forth round. 10-9 Riddell.

Round 3:
The final round began with Riddell landing a hard right hook and the fighters traded power punches during the next minute. Dober landed a body kick and Riddell immediately responded with one of his own. He ate a left hand from Dober and landed another body kick, then stuffed a Dober takedown attempt. Riddell countered a left hand from Dober with a quick combination, then rocked Dober with a right uppercut. Dober backed up and dove at Riddell’s ankle in an effort to take him down. Riddell wound up in a crucifix on Dober’s back. Dober escaped, but Riddell took top position and he landed a hard right hand before the end of the fight. 10-9 Riddell.

Winner: Brad Riddell by Unanimous Decision (29-28, 29-28, 29-28) after three rounds. He improves to 10-1-0.

 

“Ya Boi” Eryk Anders vs Darren “The Dentist” Stewart

Round 1:
Anders countered Stewart’s early leg kicks with straight left hands, but Stewart was the more aggressive fighter and he continued to throw kicks until Anders clinched with him against the fence. Stewart reversed and threw short knees while holding Anders in place. Anders eventually turned Stewart around and the fighters battled for position. Stewart got Anders down with 45 seconds remaining and he passed to half-guard. Anders regained full guard and he threw elbows from the bottom. 10-9 Stewart.

Round 2:
The second round began with an early clinch from Anders, who backed Stewart up to the cage. Little transpired in the clinch and referee Jason Herzog separated the fighters. Anders immediately clinched after the restart and he tried unsuccessfully for a takedown. Stewart reversed the clinch and Anders landed a left hook as Stewart broke free. Another clinch followed and Stewart landed a short right hook. Anders continued to pursue takedowns and Stewart defended against the cage. Anders landed a knee to the body and a grazing uppercut before the bell. Uneventful round. 10-9 Anders due to control.

Round 3:
Stewart took Anders down early in the final round, but Anders swept from the bottom and put Stewart on his back. He stood over Stewart and dropped two left hands before settling into Stewart’s half-guard. Anders postured up with left hands and he looked to set up an arm-triangle choke. Stewart turned to his right and Anders briefly held back control. He moved to S-mount and dropped punches and hammerfists to the side of Stewart’s face. Stewart got back to his feet against the cage with 30 seconds to go and Anders unloaded with left hands to his face. 10-9 Anders.

Winner: Eryk Anders by Unanimous Decision (29-27, 29-27, 29-28) after three rounds. He improves to 14-5-0, 1 ND.

 

“Lucky” Lauren Murphy vs Joanne “JoJo” Calderwood

Round 1:
Calderwood landed a nice spinning backfist in the opening minute, but Murphy was unfazed and she initiated a clinch against the cage. Calderwood fought her way free and landed a body kick on the break. The fighters traded left hooks and Murphy landed a lunging one-two. Calderwood kicked at Murphy’s lead leg from a distance and she followed up with knees and elbows in a clinch during the final minute. Calderwood threw a right hook, head kick combo and another spinning backfist before Murphy clinched and took her back at the bell. 10-9 Calderwood.

Round 2:
Murphy shot in for a single-leg takedown in round two and Calderwood defended, but Murphy switched to a body lock and she got Calderwood down into mount. Murphy trapped Calderwood’s left arm beneath her and used punches to set up a rear-naked choke attempt when Calderwood rolled to her left. Murphy eyed an arm-triangle choke from three-quarter mount and Calderwood defended once again. She got back to half-guard in the process, but Murphy landed short strikes from the top and switched to elbows to the body late in the round. 10-8 Murphy.

Round 3:
Calderwood got off to a strong start in the final round and she landed straight left hands and a body kick. She used front kicks to set up punching combinations and Murphy responded by clinching. Calderwood countered with elbows and swelling formed above both of Murphy’s eyes. Murphy landed knees to the body and Calderwood responded with an overhand right. The fighters separated and Murphy closed in with more punches, but Calderwood clipped her with a right hook and followed with an uppercut. Late in the fight, Calderwood landed a spinning backfist and the fighters traded punches until the bell. 10-9 Calderwood.

Winner: Lauren Murphy by Split Decision (29-28, 29-28, 28-29) after three rounds. She improves to 15-4-0.

 

Movsar Evloev vs “Mean” Hakeem Dawodu

Round 1:
Evloev landed an overhand right and a stiff jab in the opening seconds, and the fighters traded jabs until Evloev tripped Dawodu to the mat. Dawodu scrambled up, but Evloev took his back and suplexed him down. Dawodu stood and he was dumped to the mat again. From back control, Evloev threatened with rear-naked choke and neck crank attempts. Dawodu defended well, but Evloev maintained back control and he threw short punches and hammerfists to the side of Dawodu’s face. Dawodu stood up late in the round and Evloev took him down again. 10-9 Evloev.

Round 2:
Dawodu opened the second round with a switch kick to the body and Evloev tripped him, then took Dawodu’s back. Dawodu scrambled free and stood up, only to be immediately taken down again. Evloev trapped Dawodu in a tight body triangle and he peppered him with punches to the sides of his head. Dawodu was almost able to spin into Evloev’s guard, but Evloev maintained back control and he battered Dawodu with harder punches late in the round. 10-9 Evloev. Could be a 10-8.

Round 3:
Both men landed jabs early in round three and Evloev mixed in short uppercuts. Dawodu responded with a combination and a lead left hook to the body. Evloev dove at Dawodu’s ankle in search of a takedown and Dawodu stuffed it. Power punches were exchanged and Dawodu landed a nice left hook that briefly backed Evloev up. Evloev continued to slow down and Dawodu landed a leg kick and a right hand. He stunned Evloev with a left hook and followed up with a right. Evloev clinched and took Dawodu down. He landed punches from the top and took Dawodu down a second time after Dawodu stood up. 10-9 Dawodu despite the late takedown.

Pannie “Banzai” Kianzad vs Alexis “Ally-Gator” Davis

Round 1:
Kianzad landed a lead left hook to begin the action and Davis fired back with a leg kick. The fighters traded jabs and Kianzad landed a quick one-two. Davis landed another leg kick and a one-two, but Kianzad cracked her with a counter hook and she continued to find success with lead left hands. Kianzad landed an overhand right and a leg kick, and Davis’s face reddened from the force of Kianzad’s punches. Davis tried to clinch and Kianzad pushed her away. Davis landed a body kick and Kianzad scored with a right hook and a stiff jab. 10-9 Kianzad.

Round 2:
Quick punches were exchanged early in round two and Davis landed a nice right hand over the top during a brief clinch. Kianzad bloodied Davis’s nose with jabs, but Davis attacked her left leg with calf kicks and Kianzad began to favour her leg. She still connected with lead left hooks that she used to set up right hands, but Davis put together a combination and finished with a kick to the body. Both women landed stiff jabs and Davis scored with another calf kick. She countered a spinning backfist attempt from Kianzad by tripping her to the mat and finished the round with punches from the top. 10-9 Davis.

Round 3:
Kianzad’s nose appeared to be damaged as the final round began and Davis immediately targeted it with jabs. A combination scored for Davis, but Kianzad cracked her with a counter one-two on the break. Davis jabbed and mixed in kicks to the inside of Kianzad’s left leg. A body kick and two more jabs landed for Davis, who followed with a knee to the body and an uppercut. Kianzad countered a leg kick with a three-punch flurry and both women landed right hooks. Davis landed another right hand and continued to move forward, but Kianzad tagged her with a right-left combo late in the fight. Close round. 10-9 Davis.

Winner: Pannie Kianzad by Unanimous Decision (30-27, 30-27, 29-28) after three rounds. She improves to 15-5-0.

 

Terrance “T.Wrecks” McKinney vs Matt “The Steamrolla” Frevola

Round 1:
McKinney dropped Frevola immediately with a right-left combo, then dove in with more punches to finish the fight as quickly as it began. He then injured his own knee while celebrating by climbing up the cage.

Winner: Terrance McKinney by KO (Punches) at 0:07 of round one. He improves to 11-3-0.

 

Steven “Ocho” Peterson vs Chase “The Dream” Hooper

Round 1:
Punches were exchanged right away and Peterson landed a right hook and a body kick. Hooper dropped levels for a takedown, but Peterson took top position and landed a series of punches. Hooper worked back to his feet and he took Peterson’s back. Peterson turned into the clinch and Hooper pulled half-guard. Peterson struck from the top with forearms to Hooper’s face and Hooper stood back up. He countered a guillotine choke attempt from Peterson by taking him down, then dropped back for a heel hook attempt. Hooper switched to a calf slicer and Peterson defended with hammerfists. Both men attempted heel hooks and the round ended with Hooper standing over Peterson and dropping punches. 10-9 Peterson despite Hooper’s late rally.

Round 2:
Hooper landed a head kick and a straight left in the second round, but he was unable to take Peterson down and a clinch ensued against the cage. Peterson reversed and landed a hard elbow, then pulled guard with a guillotine choke. Hooper escaped and Peterson swept into top position. He landed short elbows and passed to half-guard. Hooper tried to posture for an armbar, then attempted to get back to his feet in the final seconds, but Peterson punished him with elbows and right hands to the face. 10-9 Peterson.

Round 3:
Peterson landed a Superman Punch and a combination after briefly touching gloves with Hooper to begin round three. A clinch ensued against the cage and Peterson landed short knees to Hooper’s legs and body. He took Hooper down into half-guard and threw shoulder strikes to Hooper’s jaw. Peterson locked on an arm-triangle choke from the top, but Hooper turned to his side and escaped as the fighters returned to their feet. Hooper used a lateral drop to get Peterson down and he took Peterson’s back. Peterson turned into Hooper’s guard before the bell, but Hooper landed punches from the bottom continuously. 10-9 Peterson by a slim margin.

Winner: Steven Peterson by Unanimous Decision (30-27, 30-27, 29-28) after three rounds. He improves to 19-9-0.

 

Fares “Smile Killer” Ziam vs Luigi “The Italian Stallion” Vendramini

Round 1:
Ziam opened the fight with a stiff jab and he shrugged off a clinch attempt from Vendramini. Ziam landed two more jabs and stayed outside of Vendramini’s punching range. After an exchange of jabs, Ziam landed a lead left hook, and he followed with an overhand right and a leg kick. Vendramini rushed forward and Ziam stopped his momentum with another lead left hand. He ducked under a Vendramini head kick attempt in the final seconds. 10-9 Ziam.

Round 2:
Vendramini scored with an overhand right in the second round that led to an exchange of punches in close and Ziam landed a shin kick to Vendramini’s face. Ziam fought off Vendramini’s takedown attempts and he landed more jabs each time Vendramini tried to close the distance. The fighters traded leg kicks and Ziam landed a right hand. Vendramini shot in for a takedown, and he was nearly able to elevate Ziam into the air, but Ziam kept his feet on the ground and pushed Vendramini away. 10-9 Ziam.

Round 3:
Vendramini wobbled Ziam with a right hand early in the final round and he chased after him with lunging lefts and rights as Ziam repeatedly lost his balance against the cage. Vendramini dumped him to the mat and rained down punches from the top. He moved to side control and then to mount, but Ziam was able to scramble back to half-guard. Vendramini worked for a top-side guillotine choke and he landed more punches and elbows after letting it go. Ziam managed to get back to his feet against the cage and Vendramini landed a head kick on the way. Ziam circled side to side and Vendramini landed an overhand right. He punched his way into a clinch before the bell. 10-9 Vendramini. Could be a 10-8 for a Draw.

Winner: Fares Ziam by Majority Decision (29-28, 29-28, 28-28) after three rounds. He improves to 12-3-0.

 

Carlos “Boi” Felipe vs Jake “The Prototype” Collier

Round 1:
Collier scored with lead left hooks and a series of leg kicks in the opening minute, and he remained a step ahead of Felipe in the striking exchanges. Felipe eventually connected with an overhand right and Collier answered back with a right-left combo soon after. Left hooks were exchanged and Collier opened a cut on Felipe’s right cheek with a hard jab. Power punches were exchanged with 20 seconds to go and both men landed left hooks. 10-9 Collier.

Round 2:
The second round began with Collier landing more lead left hands and Felipe kicked at his lead leg. Punches were exchanged and Collier appeared to slow down. He missed with two laboured spinning back kick attempts and Felipe answered with an overhand right and a leg kick. Collier jabbed, but Felipe continued to tag him with overhand rights and he followed with a left hook to the body. Collier landed a combination late in the round. 10-9 Felipe.

Round 3:
Felipe was aggressive to begin the final round and he landed lead left hooks and a hard right hand that prompted Collier to shoot in for a takedown. Felipe stuffed it and he landed a hard one-two in an ensuing exchange. Collier landed a step-in knee and a combination and Felipe replied with a right-left combo of winging hooks. Felipe closed the distance with punches and Collier responded with a flurry to the body and a head kick attempt shortly before the bell. Close round. 10-9 Felipe.
