“Big” Ben Rothwell vs Chris “Beastboy” Barnett

Round 1:
Barnett landed a series of kicks to Rothwell’s lead leg in the opening minute and he circled to his right to avoid Rothwell’s punches. The fighters exchanged power punches and Rothwell landed a hard uppercut to the body. Rothwell closed in with a flurry of punches and he snapped Barnett’s head back with a straight right. Barnett ducked into an uppercut and Rothwell took him down into half-guard. He passed to mount with just over a minute remaining and then took Barnett’s back. Rothwell cranked on a tight rear-naked choke, but Barnett muscled his way out and he managed to get to his feet. Rothwell closed in with hooks and uppercuts as a fatigued Barnett held on in the clinch. 10-9 Rothwell.

Round 2:
The second round began with Barnett landing two more leg kicks and he sidestepped to avoid an uppercut from Rothwell. Two hard right hands landed for Rothwell and he followed with more uppercuts. Barnett turned his back once and was warned, but the fight continued and Rothwell continued to land uppercuts at will. Barnett dove at his legs and tried for a takedown, but Rothwell sprawled and trapped him in a front choke. Barnett attempted to spin to his right, but he could not escape from Rothwell’s grip and tapped out.

Winner: Ben Rothwell by Submission (Front Choke) at 2:07 of round two. He improves to 39-13-0.

 

Court “The Crusher” McGee vs Claudio Henrique “Hannibal” da Silva

Round 1:
After an exchange of body kicks, Silva landed a head kick and McGee responded with a lead left hook. Silva continued to throw kicks until McGee dropped levels and took him down. Silva tried to posture for an armbar from the bottom and that prompted McGee to stand up. Silva followed and he latched on to McGee’s leg. McGee peppered him with punches until he was able to break free from Silva’s grasp. An overhand right scored for McGee and Silva appeared to slow down. He clinched once more and looked for a takedown against the cage. When McGee defended, Silva tried to pull guard. McGee stayed on his feet and Silva landed a hard left hand shortly before the bell. 10-9 McGee.

Round 2:
The second round began with an exchange of power hooks and Silva shot in for a takedown. He was finally able to get McGee down and took his back as McGee stood up. McGee escaped from the clinch, however, and he sprawled out of a Silva takedown attempt. McGee took top position on the ground and landed short punches that caused some swelling to appear around Silva’s right eye. Silva scrambled from the bottom and tried for a heel hook, but that only allowed McGee to land a series of unanswered punches to his face. He mounted Silva and locked on an arm-triangle choke, but Silva defended well until the end of the round. 10-9 McGee.

Round 3:
Power punches were exchanged to begin the final round and Silva clinched after landing an overhand right. He dove at McGee’s ankle, but McGee pulled his leg free and he took Silva down into half-guard. Silva tried to get up against the cage and McGee landed short right hands to his face. Silva finally stood up, but he was exhausted and McGee easily took him back down. He landed punches from top position and easily avoided a late-fight triangle choke attempt from Silva. 10-9 McGee.

Winner: Court McGee by Unanimous Decision (30-26, 30-26, 29-27) after three rounds. He improves to 20-10-0.

 

Bruno “Bulldog” Silva vs “Vicious” Victor Rodriguez

Round 1:
Silva hurt Rodriguez early in the fight with an overhand right and a knee soon after. Rodriguez was wobbled by the knee and Silva melted him with a massive right hand. Rodriguez crashed to the canvas and referee Chris Tognoni dove in to rescue him from further damage.

Winner: Bruno Silva by KO (Knee & Punch) at 1:00 of round one. He improves to 12-5-2, 1 NC.

 

Joshua Culibao vs Nuerdanbieke “Wolverine” Shayilan

Round 1:
Culibao opened the fight with two leg kicks and Shayilan clinched with him against the cage. He tried to pick Culibao up to slam him down, but Culibao defended. Shayilan tripped him and took his back as Culibao tried to get back to his feet. Culibao scrambled up and Shayilan kept him pinned against the fence. Shayilan took his back again and suplexed him down to the mat. Culibao stood up again and he broke free from the clinch. In the final minute, Culibao scored with an overhand right and an elbow, then a leg kick before the bell. 10-9 Shayilan.

Round 2:
In the second round, Culibao was light on his feet and he landed quick jabs and leg kicks. After two more kicks from Culibao, Shayilan responded with an overhand right and he shot in for a takedown. Culibao defended and broke free from the clinch, and he resumed striking with a quick combination. Shayilan tried unsuccessfully to clinch and Culibao used his jab to set up an overhand right. As time ticked down, Culibao landed another right hand and a hard leg kick. Shayilan dropped levels for a takedown against the cage, but Culibao stuffed it and he tried to hop on Shayilan’s back just as the bell sounded. 10-9 Culibao.

Round 3:
Right hands were exchanged in the final round and Culibao attacked Shayilan’s lead leg with calf kicks. He followed up with a jab-cross combo and then alternated between calf kicks and jabs. Shayilan clinched and briefly tripped Culibao, then took his back on the feet. Culibao turned into the clinch and trapped Shayilan in a power guillotine choke. Shayilan spun free, but Culibao cracked him with an uppercut and Shayilan began to bleed from his nose. He chased after Culibao in the final seconds, but was unable to land anything. 10-9 Culibao.

Winner: Joshua Culibao by Unanimous Decision (29-28, 29-28, 29-28) after three rounds. He improves to 9-1-1.

 

David “The Undertaker” Dvořák vs Juancamilo Ronderos

Round 1:
Dvořák landed an early right hand and followed with a quick one-two after catching a kick. Ronderos darted in and out with quick strikes, but Dvořák hurt him with an overhand right. A wobbly Ronderos shot in for a takedown and Dvořák took his back as the fight went to the ground. Dvořák secured a one-arm rear-naked choke and trapped Ronderos in a body triangle. Ronderos had nowhere to go and tapped out.

Winner: David Dvořák by Submission (Rear-Naked Choke) at 2:18 of round one. He improves to 20-3-0.

 

Damir Ismagulov vs Rafael “The Turn” Alves

Round 1:
Alves rushed forward and dropped Ismagulov with three punches to begin the fight, and he pulled half-guard with a guillotine choke on the ground. Ismagulov recovered and escaped, however, and he landed some hard punches to Alves’s body. Ismagulov stood up and kicked at Alves’s legs, then settled back into Alves’s guard and landed punches and elbows from the top. He continued to strike until the bell. 10-9 Ismagulov, despite the early knockdown.

Round 2:
In the second round, Alves opened with another three-punch combo and both fighters threw spinning back kicks. Ismagulov moved forward with right hands and he stunned Alves with a left jab to his orbital bone. Ismagulov closed in with a combination and he continued to land jabs, then dropped Alves with a left hand. Alves returned to his feet right away and Ismagulov mixed up his strikes with an uppercut and a body kick. Ismagulov reversed a takedown attempt and wound up on top in Alves’s guard. He threw strikes to Alves’s head and body until the end of the round. 10-9 Ismagulov.

Round 3:
Alves looked to land a knockout punch early in the final round as Ismagulov jabbed and kept him at bay. He took Alves down and moved to Alves’s back as Alves tried to stand, but Alves used a spinning breakdance move in order to escape and stand up. Ismagulov rose to his feet and landed a hard kick to the body. Alves jabbed and landed a hook to the body, then bloodied Ismagulov’s nose with a combination. Ismagulov shot in for a takedown and Alves trapped him in a front headlock. The fighters separated and Alves landed a spinning wheel kick. Ismagulov barely flinched and he initiated another clinch late in the round. 10-9 Alves.

Winner: Damir Ismagulov by Unanimous Decision (29-28, 29-28, 29-28) after three rounds. He improves to 23-1-0.
