Joe Solecki vs Jim “A-10” Miller

Round 1:
Solecki started quickly with jabs, a leg kick and a combination. Miller answered with a left hook and Solecki scored with a nice one-two. He finished an exchange of punches with a powerful right hand, then pulled guard off of a clinch. Miller pinned Solecki against the base of the cage and landed short punches from the top all the way until the bell. 10-9 Miller due to the ground control.

Round 2:
Miller landed a left hand early in round two and the fighters battled for position in a clinch. Miller landed a knee and Solecki took him down. Miller tied Solecki up from the bottom and threw elbows as Solecki landed occasional punches to his head and body. Action was sparse, but Solecki kept Miller down and stayed just busy enough with his ground strikes. 10-9 Solecki.

Round 3:
Solecki took the fight to the ground again in round three, and he worked from the top in Miller’s half-guard. Miller was unable to get up and Solecki kept him down for the duration of the round, landing short punches from the top throughout. 10-9 Solecki.

Winner: Joe Solecki by Unanimous Decision (30-27, 29-28, 29-28) after three rounds. He improves to 11-2-0.

 

Mateusz “Gamer” Gamrot vs Scott “Hot Sauce” Holtzman

Round 1:
Holtzman landed an overhand right early in the fight and he followed with a short counter uppercut as Gamrot closed the distance. Gamrot got him down, but Holtzman rose to his feet and both men landed hard right hands soon after. Gamrot faked a shot and landed a looping one-two over the top. Holtzman answered with another uppercut as he backed up. Gamrot dove at his ankle and took him down against the cage. As Holtzman stood up, Gamrot took his back. He landed a right hook behind Holtzman’s ear as the fighters separated and Holtzman was wobbled momentarily. In the final seconds, Gamrot landed a body kick and a quick right cross. 10-9 Gamrot.

Round 2:
Gamrot got Holtzman down momentarily in the second round, but he could not keep him there for long and Holtzman rose to his feet. Soon after, Gamrot dropped Holtzman with a right hook to the jaw. With Holtzman on one knee, Gamrot dove in with more right hands that left Holtzman face down on the canvas and ended the fight.

Winner: Mateusz Gamrot by KO (Punches) at 1:22 of round two. He improves to 18-1-0, 1 NC.

 

John “The Bull” Makdessi vs Ignacio “La Jaula” Bahamondes

Round 1:
Bahamondes landed a body kick early in the fight and he followed with quick jabs and leg kicks while frequently switching stances. He followed with one-two combos and more jabs and leg kicks, but Makdessi finally connected with a hard right hand in return and a wounded Bahamondes backed up. Makdessi hurt him with another right hook and Bahamondes began to bleed from his nose. Bahamondes remained on the defensive as Makdessi pursued with punching combinations. Bahamondes clinched and he landed two elbows over the top as Makdessi threw uppercuts. A right hand and a side kick landed for Makdessi late in the round. 10-9 Makdessi.

Round 2:
The second round began with a Bahamondes head kick, but Makdessi was not fazed and he pressed forward with jabs. More stiff jabs were exchanged and Bahamondes followed with a right hook. He just missed with a knee and then initiated a clinch. Makdessi broke free and he countered a head kick with a right cross. With one minute to go, Bahamondes landed a spinning wheel kick behind Makdessi’s ear. Makdessi responded with a punching combination and followed with a hard one-two as Bahamondes bled from multiple cuts on his face. Much closer round. 10-9 Makdessi.

Round 3:
Bahamondes circled to his left and switched stances frequently in the final round as Makdessi pursued with jabs. Bahamondes landed a three-punch combo and shot in for a takedown, but Makdessi stuffed it. Bahamondes landed a knee to the body on the break. Makdessi remained the aggressor and he used his jab to set up a flurry of punches in close. Bahamondes, bleeding heavily from below his right eye, pressed forward with jabs and a lead left hook. He missed with two spinning back kicks and the fighters traded punches before the final bell. Another back-and-forth round. 10-9 Bahamondes.

Winner: John Makdessi by Split Decision (30-27, 29-28, 28-29) after three rounds. He improves to 18-7-0.

 

Jarjis “Man Mountain” Danho vs Yorgan “The Mad Titan” De Castro

Round 1:
Cautious leg kicks were exchanged during the opening 90 seconds as Danho circled to his right and kept his distance. After a brief clinch, De Castro landed a left hook and he followed with an overhand right. Danho took him down very briefly, but De Castro quickly got back to his feet. The fighters separated and Danho landed a right hook to De Castro’s temple that immediately knocked him out and sent him crashing to the canvas.

Winner: Jarjis Danho by KO (Punch) at 3:02 of round one. He improves to 6-1-1, 1 NC.

 

Jack “Tank” Shore vs Hunter Azure

Round 1:
Shore opened the action with a left-right combo and the fighters traded leg kicks. Shore clinched with Azure against the cage and eventually pulled him down to the mat. Azure stood with Shore on his back and Shore dragged him down again. Shore hunted for a rear-naked choke, but Azure reversed into top position and he briefly landed punches before Shore scrambled up to his feet. A counter right hook and a head kick landed for Shore, who fought off a late clinch from Azure. 10-9 Shore.

Round 2:
The fighters clinched against the cage early in the second round. Shore broke free and he knocked Azure down with a right hook after catching a kick. Azure immediately stood up and he secured a tight standing guillotine choke. Shore fell to his back, but he was able to escape from the choke in the process and Azure threw short punches and elbows from Shore’s guard. Shore battled back to his feet and time was called when he was kneed in the groin. The fight resumed in a clinch battle and Shore landed two leg kicks after breaking free. Azure cracked him with a hard one-two and both men landed right hooks in the final seconds. Close round. 10-9 Azure.

Round 3:
Azure tried unsuccessfully for a takedown early in the final round and he landed a solid right hook on the break. Shore responded with a combination and a front choke attempt as he sprawled out of a takedown. Shore dragged Azure down into back control and looked for a rear-naked choke, but Azure escaped to his feet. With 90 seconds to go, Shore scored a double-leg takedown. Azure stood and Shore pulled him down again, but this time Azure turned over into his guard. He landed punches and tried for a rear-naked choke of his own late in the round. 10-9 Shore.

Winner: Jack Shore by Split Decision (30-27, 30-27, 28-29) after three rounds. He improves to 14-0-0.

 

Luis Saldaña vs Jordan “The Native Psycho” Griffin

Round 1:
Quick strikes were exchanged right away and Saldaña knocked Griffin down with a leg kick, but Griffin returned to his feet and he briefly took Saldaña down. Saldaña stood and he continued to attack Griffin’s lead leg. He followed with a left hand and Griffin fired back with a big one-two before clinching in search of a takedown. Saldaña landed a knee to the body on the break and Griffin chased after him with punches. He took Saldaña down and held him in a modified bulldog choke after Saldaña rose to his feet against the cage. In the final seconds, Griffin landed two left hands and he took Saldaña down just before time expired. 10-9 Griffin due to the late-round rally.

Round 2:
Saldaña fell while throwing a kick in round two and Griffin took top position as Saldaña looked to set up an armbar from the bottom. Saldaña spun into a heel hook that he used to sweep Griffin. As Griffin stood against the cage, Saldaña locked on a tight guillotine choke, but Griffin defended well and he broke Saldaña’s grip. Soon after, Griffin took Saldaña down into half-guard and he tried for a bulldog choke as Saldaña stood up. Griffin took Saldaña’s back and trapped him in a tight rear-naked choke, but Saldaña managed to hold on until the bell. 10-9 Griffin.

Round 3:
Saldaña landed a nice right hand and a knee to the body while fighting off an early takedown attempt from Griffin in round three. Griffin eventually secured another clinch and he jumped into a rear-naked choke attempt as he pulled Saldaña down to the ground. Saldaña escaped into top position and he took Griffin’s back with 30 seconds remaining. Griffin turned into Saldaña’s guard, then stood up and landed two right hands from the top before hopping on Saldaña’s back one more time as he rose to his feet. Another close round. 10-9 Griffin.

Winner: Luis Saldaña by Unanimous Decision (29-28, 29-28, 29-28) after three rounds. He improves to 15-6-0.

 

Da Un Jung vs William “Knightmare” Knight

Round 1:
Knight opened the fight with hard leg kicks and he secured a body lock, but Jung reversed it and threw Knight down to the mat. Jung pinned Knight down against the base of the cage and threw punches to his ribs, then passed to half-guard. Knight powered out and stood up, only to be immediately taken down again. Jung landed short elbows from the top in Knight’s half-guard and Knight began to bleed from his mouth. Jung opened a second cut below Knight’s left eye, but Knight was able to battle back to his feet shortly before the bell. 10-9 Jung.

Round 2:
During an exchange of leg kicks early in the second round, Knight landed a hard overhand right. Jung was unfazed and he scored a body-lock takedown into side control. Knight got to his knees and tried to stand up, but Jung held him down and landed right hands to the side of his face. Jung sunk in both hooks and flattened Knight out, then blasted him with punches as Knight bled heavily from his face again. Blood poured out of Knight’s nose as Jung continued to land punches until the end of the round. 10-8 Jung.

Round 3:
Knight fired off right hooks to begin round three, but Jung took him down into side control. Knight exploded up to his feet and Jung scored another takedown. He moved to North-South position and threw short elbows to Knight’s stomach. Jung got back to side control and Knight held on from the bottom with his left arm. Jung moved to a top-side crucifix and then back to North-South position while preventing Knight from standing up. When Jung returned to side control, Knight held on with a last-ditch guillotine choke attempt from the bottom, but he was unable to regain full guard and the choke was little more than a headlock. 10-9 Jung.

Winner: Da Un Jung by Unanimous Decision (30-26, 30-26, 30-27) after three rounds. He improves to 14-2-1.

 

Impa “Tshilobo” Kasanganay vs Sasha Palatnikov

Round 1:
Kasanganay countered early body kicks from Palatnikov with two right hands that backed him up. Kasanganay caught a kick and landed another right hook that led to a takedown against the cage. Palatnikov worked back to his feet and broke free from the clinch. Kasanganay closed the distance again and the fighters battled against the fence, with Palatnikov landing knees to Kasanganay’s thighs. Late in the round, Palatnikov landed an overhand right and a spinning backfist. Close round. 10-9 Kasanganay due to control.

Round 2:
The second round began quickly with Kasanganay dropping Palatnikov to a knee with a right hook behind his ear. Kasanganay immediately attacked with a no-hooks rear-naked choke as Palatnikov tried to get to his feet. Palatnikov fought the choke for a few seconds before tapping out.

Winner: Impa Kasanganay by Submission (Rear-Naked Choke) at 0:26 of round two. He improves to 9-1-0.
