Thiago Moises vs Alexander “The Great” Hernandez

Round 1:
Hernandez moved forward in a low stance and jabbed as Moises threw a hard leg kick. Hernandez landed a combination and Moises scored with two more powerful kicks to his lead leg. Moises was content to counterstrike, and he landed a nice right hand as Hernandez threw a leg kick. Hernandez switched stances and kept the pressure on with a jab-cross combo. Time was called when Moises was kicked in the groin, but action quickly resumed and Moises landed a leg kick. He just missed with a spinning hook kick and the fighters traded jabs. Hernandez’s nose began to redden and he ate a hard right hand late in the round. 10-9 Moises.

Round 2:
Hernandez stayed in a southpaw stance in the second round and he landed right-left combos. Moises remained effective with leg kicks and counter right hooks. Hernandez lunged in with a one-two and ducked under a right hook from Moises, who landed a spinning hook kick and a lead left hand soon after. Power punches were exchanged and Hernandez landed a nice left hook. Moises chased after Hernandez and he partially landed with a head kick and a follow-up right cross before the bell. 10-9 Moises.

Round 3:
The final round began with Hernandez landing a body kick, which Moises countered with a right hook and a head kick. Moises landed a three-punch combo and a nice right cross as Hernandez moved forward. Moises nearly ducked into a head kick, but caught Hernandez’s leg and Hernandez pulled away. Both men landed body kicks and Hernandez narrowly avoided a head kick as he circled to his left. In the final 75 seconds, Moises picked up the pace and he landed kicks to Hernandez’s upper body and head. He kept Hernandez on the defensive by landing lead left hooks and leg kicks as Hernandez circled away. 10-9 Moises.

Winner: Thiago Moises by Unanimous Decision (30-27, 30-27, 29-28) after three rounds. He improves to 15-4-0.

 

Alexis “Ally-Gator” Davis vs Sabina “Colombian Queen” Mazo

Round 1:
Mazo established her jab right away and she landed quick left-right combos as Davis looked to close the distance. Davis landed leg kicks and a right hand, but her face turned bright red as Mazo continued to tag her with hard jabs. Davis caught a kick and took Mazo down into side control. Mazo trapped Davis’s head with her legs, but Davis scrambled free and took her back. She sunk in both hooks and worked for a rear-naked choke. Mazo tried to spin into Davis’s guard with 30 seconds to go, but Davis mounted her and Mazo was forced to give up her back once again. 10-9 Davis.

Round 2:
Davis landed more leg kicks in the second round and Mazo threw jab-cross combos from a distance. More jabs scored for Mazo, but Davis remained effective with her leg kicks. Mazo maintained a low stance and she threw two- and three-punch combos. Davis attacked with more leg kicks and she hurt Mazo with one to the calf. As the round progressed, Mazo countered Davis’s leg kicks with right hands, but Davis took her down late in the round and landed two elbows and a right hand before the bell. Close round. 10-9 Davis.

Round 3:
Davis caught a body kick and took Mazo down early in the final round. Mazo attempted a heel hook from the bottom and Davis settled into Mazo’s guard after freeing her leg. Mazo tried to stand against the cage and Davis took her back. She once again worked for a rear-naked choke and then tried to transition to mount. Mazo regained full guard during the sequence and she attempted a belly-down armbar soon after. Davis stayed calm and escaped, and she took Mazo’s back again. Throughout the final minute, Davis peppered Mazo with punches to the side of her head while looking for chokes. 10-9 Davis.

Winner: Alexis Davis by Unanimous Decision (30-26, 30-27, 30-27) after three rounds. She improves to 20-10-0.

 

Ronnie “The Heat” Lawrence vs Vince “The Anomaly” Cachero

Round 1:
Lawrence circled on the outside and landed leg kicks and side kicks to Cachero’s body. He followed with a front kick and a spinning back kick to the body, then took Cachero down to the mat. Cachero scrambled up and avoided a Lawrence guillotine choke attempt, and the fighters separated after an exchange of power hooks. Lawrence took Cachero down again very briefly, but Cachero returned to his feet and he held Lawrence against the cage. Lawrence circled away and Cachero cracked him with an overhand right. Lawrence responded with a takedown and he moved to half-guard. In the final 30 seconds, Lawrence postured up with punches and elbows while trapping Cachero’s right arm with his leg. 10-9 Lawrence.

Round 2:
The second round started with both fighters landing quick combinations and Lawrence followed with kicks to Cachero’s lead leg and body. He took Cachero down into half-guard and Cachero stood back up. Lawrence secured a second takedown and he passed to side control. As Lawrence looked to set up a Brabo choke, Cachero rose to his feet. He then attempted a Brabo choke of his own, but Lawrence escaped and he slammed Cachero down two more times. He tried to pass to mount and nearly got there as the bell sounded. 10-9 Lawrence.

Round 3:
Lawrence hurt Cachero with a liver kick in the final round and he took Cachero down to the mat. Lawrence moved from half-guard to back control and tried to set up an arm-triangle choke as Cachero rolled over. Lawrence took mount and teed off with punches as Cachero tried to roll and defend. Cachero gave up his back and Lawrence battered him with elbows and punches. Cachero finally got to his knees, but Lawrence was relentless with his ground and pound. He landed strikes to the sides of Cachero’s head until the fight was finally stopped.

Winner: Ronnie Lawrence by TKO (Elbows & Punches) at 2:38 of round three. He improves to 7-1-0.

 

Dustin “The Hanyak” Jacoby vs Maxim “Maximus” Grishin

Round 1:
Both men opened up with leg kicks and Jacoby lunged forward with a lead left hook. Grishin answered with an overhand right and he clinched with Jacoby against the fence. When the fighters separated, Grishin dropped Jacoby with a jab and followed with a right hand as Jacoby fell. Grishin landed more punches as Jacoby rose to his feet and another clinch followed. Jacoby circled away and both men landed right hooks. Grishin partially blocked a head kick and he responded with a spinning back elbow. In the final seconds, Grishin dropped Jacoby with two right hooks and he looked for a rear-naked choke on the ground before time expired. 10-9 Grishin.

Round 2:
Jacoby jabbed in round two as Grishin pressed forward with leg kicks and occasional right hands. Jacoby landed a chopping leg kick of his own and he sidestepped a right hook from Grishin, but Grishin landed a solid kick to the body. He countered a stiff jab from Jacoby with a one-two. Jacoby continued to throw jabs and leg kicks, and he stunned Grishin with a counter left hook. Grishin backed up momentarily and then tried unsuccessfully for a takedown. More kicks were exchanged and Jacoby landed a right cross at the bell. 10-9 Jacoby.

Round 3:
Jacoby continued to use his jab to stay out of range of Grishin’s right hands in the final round. Jacoby became the aggressor and he countered a leg kick with a jumping knee that led to a clinch. Jacoby held Grishin against the cage and prevented him from scoring a takedown. Grishin punched his way free with a quick combination and Jacoby pursued with leg kicks. Grishin picked up the pace in the final minute and he finished a combination with a head kick attempt. Close round. 10-9 Grishin.

Winner: Dustin Jacoby by Unanimous Decision (29-28, 29-28, 29-28) after three rounds. He improves to 14-5-0.
