Trevin “The Problem” Giles vs Bevon “The Extraordinary Gentleman” Lewis

Round 1:
After a quick exchange of strikes, Giles scored a brief takedown and the fighters battled for position against the cage after standing back up. Giles landed a lead left hook as the fighters briefly separated and he punched his way into another clinch. Lewis broke free and he landed a quick flurry of his own. Giles stuffed a takedown and he held Lewis against the fence again. Lewis reversed and threw knees to Giles’s thigh. Both fighters landed knees until Giles circled away. He dropped Lewis with a short jab and dove in with elbow strikes on the ground. In the final seconds, Giles moved to half-guard and pinned down Lewis’s right arm with his knee as he landed forearm strikes from the top. 10-9 Giles.

Round 2:
Giles landed more jabs in the second round and Lewis countered with two hooks to the body. Giles backed him up with long jabs and followed with two overhand punches. With just over one minute remaining, Giles landed a nice right hook and he kept the pressure on with two more power punches and a trio of jabs. Lewis circled to his left and he threw a two-punch combo to the body that was answered by a lunging right hook from Giles. 10-9 Giles.

Round 3:
The final round began with a quick exchange of punches and Giles remained effective with his jab. He sprawled out to defend against a takedown from Lewis and reversed into top position. Lewis scrambled up to his feet and Giles cracked him with two power hooks. Lewis was staggered and Giles dropped him with two more big right hands to finish the fight.

Winner: Trevin Giles by TKO (Punches) at 1:26 of round three. He improves to 13-2-0.

 

Alexander “King Kong” Romanov vs Maros Rogério “Pezão” de Lima

Round 1:
De Lima opened the fight with two leg kicks and Romanov immediately took him down into side control. He looked to set up an arm-triangle choke, but De Lima scrambled up to his feet. He avoided a Romanov clinch attempt and landed another hard leg kick. Romanov closed the distance and ate four power punches on the way in. He held de Lima against the cage and landed a strong knee to the body. More knees were exchanged and de Lima briefly broke free. Romanov clinched again and he took de Lima down into side control once more. De Lima prevented Romanov from mounting him, but Romanov postured up with elbows from the top in half-guard. Late in the round, Romanov pressed down on de Lima’s throat with a forearm choke and de Lima was rendered unconscious within seconds.

Winner: Alexander Romanov by Technical Submission (Forearm Choke) at 4:48 of round one. He improves to 13-0-0.

 

Darren “The Damage” Elkins vs Luiz Eduardo Garagorri

Round 1:
Elkins closed the distance right away and he took Garagorri down against the cage. Garagorri stood up twice and Elkins took him right back down. Garagorri battled his way back up and he tried to sweep out Elkins’s leg, but Elkins defended and he secured a takedown into mount. He landed punches and then looked to set up a guillotine choke as Garagorri sat up against the cage. Elkins let it go and Garagorri stood up. Elkins caught a kick and dragged Garagorri down, then took his back on the way up. Garagorri finally managed to break free from the clinch and he landed a head kick, but Elkins caught Garagorri’s leg and took him down. He closed out the round with punches from the top. 10-9 Elkins.

Round 2:
Garagorri landed two hard jabs that stopped Elkins in his tracks early in round two, but Elkins still managed to take Garagorri down and he pinned him there against the base of the cage. Elkins landed short strikes from the top until Garagorri worked his way back up near the midway point in the round. Another clinch followed and the fighters battled for position against the cage. They separated and Elkins landed a left hook, but Garagorri countered with an uppercut-hook combo. Elkins lunged forward with left and right hands, but Garagorri countered with a hard jab. In the final minute, Elkins picked Garagorri up and slammed him down into half-guard. Garagorri regained full guard and Elkins struck from top position until the bell. 10-9 Elkins.

Round 3:
Both men landed lead left hands to begin the final round and Garagorri followed with a right hook. He missed with a spinning back kick attempt but fought off a takedown from Elkins. The fighters traded liver kicks and Garagorri landed a huge right hand that stunned Elkins. Garagorri jumped in with a knee and Elkins clinched. He took Garagorri’s back and hopped into a standing body triangle while using punches to set up a rear-naked choke attempt. Elkins sunk in the choke and Garagorri tapped out.

Winner: Darren Elkins by Submission (Rear-Naked Choke) at 2:22 of round three. He improves to 25-9-0.

 

Max “Pain” Griffin vs Ramiz Brahimaj

Round 1:
Griffin landed a quick one-two and a leg kick to begin the action and he followed with a long jab. Brahimaj responded with left-right combos and the fighters traded jabs in the ensuing minute. Griffin landed a jab-cross combo and Brahimaj replied with a right hook. Griffin scored with a leg kick and he followed with another two-punch combo. Both men connected with right hands and Brahimaj established his jab. He attempted a spinning back kick and sidestepped before landing a right hand. Brahimaj clinched and held him against the cage until the bell. Close round. 10-9 Griffin.

Round 2:
Brahimaj landed lead left hooks and a quick combination in the second round and time was called after he was kicked in the groin. The fight continued after a one-minute delay and Brahimaj landed a hard leg kick. Griffin answered back with a punching flurry to the head and body. Two more punches landed for Griffin and Brahimaj snapped his head back with a counter jab. Griffin countered a right hand from Brahimaj with one of his own and Brahimaj’s face continued to redden. Griffin opened a cut below Brahimaj’s right eye with a series of jabs and both men landed right hands. Griffin countered a clinch with a powerful knee to the body and Brahimaj let go. He missed with a spinning back kick and the round ended in a clinch. 10-9 Griffin.

Round 3:
The final round began with both fighters landing jabs and body kicks. Time was called once again when Brahimaj was kicked in the groin. Action resumed and Brahimaj cut Griffin near his right eye with two jabs. Both men landed body kicks and Griffin backed Brahimaj up with a flurry of punches to the body and head. The bloodied fighters clinched against the cage and time was called as Brahimaj’s left ear was nearly severed by a Griffin elbow strike. The fight was immediately waved off due to the gruesome ear injury.

Winner: Max Griffin by TKO (Ear Injury) at 2:03 of round three. He improves to 16-8-0.

 

Gustavo Lopez vs Anthony “El Toro” Birchak

Round 1:
Birchak opened the fight with leg kicks and he rushed forward with punches, but Lopez cracked him with a counter left hook. Birchak regained his footing and Lopez flurried with more punches that backed him up against the cage. Birchak countered with a knee to the body and Lopez briefly tripped him into back control. Birchak shook him off and stood back up. The fighters traded strikes and Lopez shot in for another takedown. He got Birchak down and took his back once more. Lopez battered Birchak with punches to the sides of his head, then locked on a rear-naked choke and Birchak was forced to submit.

Winner: Gustavo Lopez by Submission (Rear-Naked Choke) at 2:43 of round one. He improves to 12-5-0.
