Jiří “Denisa” Procházka vs Volkan “No Time” Oezdemir

Round 1:
Oezdemir struck first with a leg kick and a long jab. Procházka responded with a hard combination and taunted as Oezdemir continued to jab. He landed a combination and stunned Procházka but Procházka recovered and both men landed combinations and uppercuts. Oezdemir kicked at Procházka’s lead leg and the fighters traded more punches. Oezdemir connected with another combination and an overhand right to the temple. Big punches were exchanged and Oezdemir landed another right hook. A clinch battle ensued and both men landed left hands at the bell. 10-9 Oezdemir.

Round 2:
Procházka struck first with a head kick after faking a kick to Oezdemir’s lead leg. Punches were exchanged and Procházka jumped in with a knee that missed. He landed a massive one-two, however, and Oezdemir crumpled unconscious against the base of the cage.

Winner: Jiří Procházka by KO (Punches) at 0:49 of round two. He improves to 27-3-1.

 

Muslim “King of Kung Fu” Salikhov vs Elizeu “Capoeira” Zaleski dos Santos

Round 1:
Salikhov opened the action with leg and body kicks and Zaleski dos Santos replied with a kick to his right forearm. Salikhov landed a quick spinning back kick to the liver and he followed with a second one that Zaleski dos Santos narrowly blocked. Salikhov kept the pressure on with a lead left hook and he stuffed a takedown attempt from Zaleski dos Santos. With 20 seconds to go, Zaleski dos Santos rocked Salikhov with a hard right cross. Salikhov dove for a takedown and Zaleski dos Santos landed hammerfists until the bell. 10-9 Zaleski dos Santos due to the late-round rally.

Round 2:
Zaleski dos Santos landed an overhand right to begin the second round and he avoided a spinning back kick. Salikhov countered a one-two from Zaleski dos Santos with a lead left hand and a leg kick. He dumped Zaleski dos Santos to the mat after catching a spinning kick. Zaleski dos Santos stood and he landed a big right hand. Salikhov tripped him very briefly, but Zaleski dos Santos stood and he worked for a takedown against the cage. The fighters separated and Zaleski dos Santos ducked under a spinning back kick. Salikhov landed a spinning back kick late in the round and Zaleski dos Santos responded with a one-two. 10-9 Zaleski dos Santos.

Round 3:
Salikhov landed a hard spinning back kick to the body early in round three and he followed with a lead left hook that snapped Zaleski dos Santos’s head back. Hard punches were exchanged and Salikhov connected with an overhand right. Both men landed one-twos and Salikhov mixed in leg kicks. He landed two short right hands and Zaleski dos Santos fired back with a winging right hook. Salikhov grazed with a spinning back kick and both men threw spinning attacks before the bell. Competitive final round. 10-9 Salikhov.

Makwan “Mr. Finland” Amirkhani vs Danny “The Hatchet” Henry

Round 1:
Amirkhani closed the distance and looked to land lead right hooks early on as Henry threw kicks. A jumping switch kick landed to the body for Henry and Amirkhani responded with a flying knee to the chest. He took Henry down and attacked with a guillotine choke that turned into an Anaconda Choke. Within seconds, Henry was rendered unconscious and the fight was stopped.

Winner: Makwan Amirkhani by Technical Submission (Anaconda Choke) at 3:15 of round one. He improves to 16-4-0.

 

Leonardo Santos vs Roman Bogatov

Round 1:
Bogatov slipped early in the fight and Santos threw right hands as Bogatov got back to his feet. A leg kick and two punches scored for Santos and time was called soon after when he was poked in the eye. He was cleared to continue and action resumed with Bogatov missing with a spinning attack. Santos took his back and dragged him down to the mat momentarily. The fight returned to the feet and Bogatov landed a jab. Santos countered with a knee in close and two leg kicks. Two body kicks and a stiff jab scored for Bogatov and he followed with a spinning backfist. Bogatov kept the pressure on with jabs and right hands. He landed a spinning back elbow late in the round and Santos took his back. Very close round. 10-9 Santos.

Round 2:
Santos landed a hard body kick in round two and Bogatov responded with a takedown attempt. Santos remained on his feet and he struck the side of Bogatov’s head. The fighters separated and Santos rocked Bogatov with a knee. He followed with hard punches as a dazed Bogatov stumbled backward to the cage. Santos landed more punches, another knee and a head kick before Bogatov dove at his ankle. Santos landed numerous hammerfists to the sides of Bogatov’s head, but Bogatov survived all of it and he took top position. Bogatov punched to the body of an exhausted Santos, then postured up with big punches to Santos’s face until the bell. 10-9 Santos, who would have had a 10-8 if not for the late-round falter.

Round 3:
Time was called early in the final round when Santos was kneed in the groin. Action finally resumed on the feet following a lengthy delay and Bogatov clinched in search of a takedown. Santos defended well and stayed on his feet. Bogatov threw knees until he landed another one to Santos’s cup and time was called again. After the restart, Bogatov landed a spinning backfist and he took Santos down against the base of the cage. Time was called after Bogatov landed a blatantly illegal knee to Santos’s face. He was docked two points for the foul. The fight did finally continue and both men were aggressive in the final seconds, with Bogatov taking Santos down shortly before the final bell. 9-8 Santos.

Winner: Leonardo Santos by Unanimous Decision (29-26, 29-26, 29-26) after three rounds. He improves to 18-3-1.

 

Marcin “Tybur” Tybura vs Maxim “Maximus” Grishin

Round 1:
Tybura caught an early body kick and he tried for a takedown against the cage, but Grishin broke free. Tybura backed him up against the fence and threw knees to the body until Grishin circled out. Tybura clinched and scored a takedown in the final minute, and he closed out the largely uneventful round with ground and pound as Grishin attempted to get back to his feet. 10-9 Tybura.

Round 2:
Time was called early in the second round after Grishin was kicked in the groin, but action resumed. It was soon paused again when Tybura was kneed low in a clinch. Once more, the fight continued and Tybura kept Grishin pinned against the fence. Grishin countered with short strikes in close and he broke free from the clinch with a standing elbow. Tybura clinched and he took Grishin down before the bell. 10-9 Tybura.

Round 3:
Tybura took Grishin down and struck from the top with short punches and elbows that caused Grishin’s nose to bleed. With just over a minute remaining, Tybura took Grishin’s back and he continued to throw hammerfists to the sides of Grishin’s head while maintaining a body triangle until the end of the uneventful fight. 10-9 Tybura.

Winner: Marcin Tybura by Unanimous Decision (30-26, 30-27, 30-27) after three rounds. He improves to 19-6-0.

 

Raulian Paiva vs Zhalgas Zhumagulov

Round 1:
Zhumagulov blocked a head kick and both men landed right hooks in the opening minute. Paiva scored with a hard one-two and a body kick, and he continued to throw kicks that kept Zhumagulov guessing. Paiva landed another kick to the upper body and the fighters briefly clinched against the cage. More body kicks scored for Paiva until Zhumagulov pushed him down to the ground. Paiva stood and Zhumagulov landed a right hook to the body. He took Paiva down and landed a knee on the way up. 10-9 Paiva.

Round 2:
The second round began with an exchange of body kicks and Zhumagulov was much more active with punches to Paiva’s ribs. As the round continued, Zhumagulov struck from a distance with more hooks to the body and he countered Paiva’s forward movement with leg kicks and overhand rights. Zhumagulov fired off a combination in the final 30 seconds and Paiva clinched. Zhumagulov whipped him down to the mat and finished the round with punches from the top. 10-9 Zhumagulov.

Round 3:
Zhumagulov landed a counter right hook to the temple early in round three and he continued to throw overhand rights as Paiva pressed forward. A leg kick landed for Paiva and Zhumagulov responded with another right hook. He took Paiva down, but Paiva quickly returned to his feet. Zhumagulov caught a kick and landed one of his own. Paiva continued to walk him down and he landed a knee to the body in a brief clinch. A big left hook scored for Zhumagulov and he fought off a clinch attempt. Time was called when Zhumagulov was kicked in the groin. The fight eventually continued and Zhumagulov took Paiva’s back in a scramble that briefly went to the ground. Back on the feet, Zhumagulov stuffed a takedown and he was kneed in the groin before the bell. 10-9 Zhumagulov.

Winner: Raulian Paiva by Unanimous Decision (29-28, 29-28, 29-28) after three rounds. He improves to 20-3-0.

 

Karol Rosa vs Vanessa “Miss Simpatia” Melo

Round 1:
Both women immediately landed hard right hands to begin the fight and they continued to trade punches. Rosa targeted Melo’s lead leg with a series of kicks and she mixed in stiff jabs. Another combination and a leg kick landed for Rosa as Melo struggled to find her range. This continued as the round progressed and Rosa remained in control of the striking exchanges. She took Melo down and struck from top position until the end of the round. 10-9 Rosa.

Round 2:
Rosa stayed out of range of Melo’s strikes in the second round and she scored with a jumping switch knee and a hard one-two. Melo clinched and tried for a takedown, but Rosa reversed position against the cage. She tripped Melo and postured up with forearm strikes and elbows from the top in half-guard. Melo tried to escape to her feet, but Rosa landed numerous left hands to her face and she kept her pinned down until the bell. 10-9 Rosa, if not a 10-8.

Round 3:
Melo tried to close the distance in the final round and Rosa kept her at bay with jabs and a step-in knee to the body. Melo landed an overhand right and a left hook to the liver, and she stuffed a takedown attempt from Rosa. Melo continued to score with jabs and she walked Rosa down with one-twos. Both women landed left hands and they clinched against the cage. Rosa worked for a takedown and and the fighters exchanged knees to the thighs in the final seconds. Close round. 10-9 Rosa.

Winner: Karol Rosa by Unanimous Decision (30-26, 30-26, 30-27) after three rounds. She improves to 13-3-0.

 

“Dangerous” Davey Grant vs Martin “The Spartan” Day

Round 1:
Grant opened the action with two hard leg kicks and he followed with two hooks to the body. Day kicked from a distance and Grant lunged in with a lead left hook. Grant landed another combination, but Day floored him with a counter right hook as Grant was moving forward. Grant recovered quickly and he battled back to his feet after Day briefly struck with ground and pound from Grant’s guard. Day landed a two-punch combo and Grant responded by taking him down. Day tried to scramble up, but Grant kept him down until the bell. 10-9 Day, due solely to the knockdown.

Round 2:
Day landed kicks early in the second round and Grant continued to throw one-two combos of hooks to the body. He landed a flying switch knee to Day’s jaw, but Day was unfazed and he shrugged off a takedown attempt. Grant landed a three-punch combo that stunned Day and he swarmed on him with punches and an elbow. Day appeared to recover, but Grant dumped him to the mat and he worked from the top in side control. Day tried to get back to his feet and Grant countered with a guillotine choke. He moved to North-South position and then attacked with an armbar, but Day rolled to escape and he wound up in Grant’s guard. The fighters stood with 15 seconds remaining and both men landed punches. Day knocked Grant down with a spinning back kick to the body at the bell. 10-9 Grant.

Round 3:
Day struck first with an overhand right in round three and he followed with a Superman Punch. Grant shot in for a takedown and Day pulled his leg free. An exchange of punches followed and Day landed a straight right hand and a lead left hook. More power punches were exchanged and Day continued to score with left hands. Seconds later, both men threw one-twos and Grant melted Day with a counter left hook to the jaw that sent an unconscious Day crashing to the mat.

Winner: Davey Grant by KO (Punch) at 2:38 of round three. He improves to 12-4-0.
