Khama “The Deathstar” Worthy vs Luis “Violent Bob Ross” Pena

Round 1:
Pena landed a quick combination early on and avoided a right hand from Worthy, but Worthy closed in and cracked him with a right cross soon after. The fighters continued to trade punches and Worthy countered a takedown attempt with a guillotine choke. Pena fell to his back and Worthy allowed him to stand. Two overhand punches landed for Worthy and he sidestepped a switch kick attempt from Pena. Worthy kicked to the body and Pena fired back with a left hook. Worthy picked his shots with one-twos and leg kicks, and Pena landed leg kicks of his own in return. Two winging overhand rights landed for Worthy late in the round. 10-9 Worthy.

Round 2:
Pena took Worthy down into side control early in round two and he quickly transitioned to an arm-triangle choke. Worthy defended, but Pena mounted him in the process. Worthy gave up his back and Pena hunted for a rear-naked choke while keeping Worthy trapped in a body triangle. Worthy finally scrambled free and he avoided a triangle choke attempt from Pena, but Pena was able to pull him back down to the ground and he worked from side control again. In the final seconds, Pena took Worthy’s back and tried once more for a rear-naked choke. 10-9 Pena. Close to a 10-8.

Round 3:
Early in the final round, Pena looked to set up takedowns with quick one-twos, but Worthy stayed on his feet and he landed stiff jabs and a combination over the top. Pena clinched and shot in for a takedown, but Worthy countered with a power guillotine choke. He pulled guard with the choke and Pena was forced to submit within seconds.

Winner: Khama Worthy by Submission (Guillotine Choke) at 2:53 of round three. He improves to 16-6-0.

 

Tanner “The Bulldozer” Boser vs Philipe “Monstro” Lins

Round 1:
The fighters traded punches throughout the opening two minutes and Boser found a home for his overhand right. Lins responded with a combination and he continued to press forward, but Boser hurt him with another overhand right to the temple. Lins was dazed and frozen in place, and Boser unloaded with heavy punches including a vicious right hook to the jaw. Lins fell to his back, unconscious, and Boser landed follow-up hammerfists on the ground before the fight was stopped.

Winner: Tanner Boser by KO (Punches) at 2:41 of round one. He improves to 18-6-1.

 

Kay Hansen vs Jinh Yu Frey

Round 1:
Frey landed a hard leg kick to begin the fight and Hansen shot in and clinched. Frey reversed and landed two hard punches including a big left hook. Hansen appeared to be unfazed and she responded with a one-two. Frey landed more straight left hands and Hansen’s face began to redden, but that did not slow Hansen down and she looked again for a takedown. Frey stuffed it and landed a quick kick to Hansen’s face. The round continued with Frey landing leg kicks and single punches as Hansen struggled to find her range. Both women landed punches in an exchange at the bell. 10-9 Frey.

Round 2:
The second round began with Frey attacking the body and he followed with a hard combination to Hansen’s face. Hansen responded by clinching and she took Frey down into half-guard. She looked to set up a Brabo choke from the top, but Frey defended and she prevented Hansen from passing to mount. Hansen briefly looked for a top-side guillotine choke and she peppered Frey with short punches until the end of the round. 10-9 Hansen.

Round 3:
Frey kicked at Hansen’s lead leg in the final round and she cracked Hansen with a counter hook as Hansen pressed forward with punches. Frey continued to circle and she sprawled out to defend against a Hansen takedown. Hansen jumped on top her back and transitioned to a belly-down armbar. Frey rolled over, but Hansen was able to break her grip and pulled back on her right arm until Frey was forced to tap.

Winner: Kay Hansen by Submission (Armbar) at 2:26 of round three. She improves to 7-3-0.

 

Youssef “The Moroccan Devil” Zalal vs Jordan “The Native Psycho” Griffin

Round 1:
Griffin struck first with two leg kicks and a lunging combination. He chased after Zalal with more punches and Zalal circled away. Griffin countered a Zalal leg kick with more lunging punches and he dropped levels for a takedown. Zalal stayed on his feet, but Griffin took his back. Zalal eventually broke free and Griffin threw a one-two and a head kick. Zalal attempted a flying knee in return and the fighters clinched. Griffin muscled Zalal down and he attempted a rear-naked choke before the bell. 10-9 Griffin.

Round 2:
After a pair of head kick attempts from Griffin in round two, Zalal responded with a jumping knee. He followed with a right hand to the body that hurt Griffin, but Griffin was able to drag him down to the mat and he hopped on Zalal’s back as Zalal rose to his feet. Zalal turned into the clinch and backed away, and both men landed combinations. Griffin continued to slow down, but Zalal fell after missing with a flying knee and Griffin moved from top position to Zalal’s back. Zalal shrugged him off and returned to his feet, and the round ended in a clinch. 10-9 Zalal by a slim margin due to damage.

Round 3:
Zalal attacked with punches and standing elbows early in the final round as he looked to press the action on the feet. Griffin took him down, but Zalal worked back up to his feet and he stuffed two takedowns from Griffin while landing knees to the body. Griffin continued to pursue takedowns, but Zalal countered effectively with knees to the chest and an elbow to the jaw. The fight ended in a final clinch. 10-9 Zalal.

Winner: Youssef Zalal by Unanimous Decision (29-28, 29-28, 29-28) after three rounds. He improves to 9-2-0.
