Bevon “The Extraordinary Gentleman” Lewis vs Dequan “The Tarantula” Townsend

Round 1:
Lewis scored with two big combinations in the opening 90 seconds, but Townsend weathered the storm and clinched. Lewis backed away and landed a one-two and a leg kick. Townsend responded with two knees to the body and the fighters continued to trade punches. Power hooks landed for both men in the final minute and Lewis scored with jabs. Townsend threw a flurry late in the round and Lewis clinched. 10-9 Lewis.

Round 2:
Both men landed leg kicks and punching combinations in the second round. Lewis appeared to be limping on one leg, but he still managed to counter Townsend’s aggression with short punches and clinches. Townsend pressed forward with looping punches and the fighters clinched again. Lewis landed short strikes in close and he countered a right hand from Townsend with a three-punch flurry after the fighters separated. The round ended with an exchange of knees in a clinch. 10-9 Lewis.

Round 3:
Lewis ate a leg kick to his damaged knee in the final round and responded by quickly clinching. He took Townsend’s back against the cage, but Townsend circled away. Lewis punched his way into another clinch and Townsend countered with a knee to the body. Each time Townsend escaped from the clinch, Lewis closed the distance and clinched again. He tried unsuccessfully to get Townsend down before the bell. 10-9 Lewis in an uneventful round.

Winner: Bevon Lewis by Unanimous Decision (30-27, 30-27, 30-27) after three rounds. He improves to 7-2-0.

 

Arnold “Almighty” Allen vs Nik “The Carny” Lentz

Round 1:
Lentz opened the fight with a combination and a leg kick and the fighters traded punches in the ensuing minute. Lentz initially countered Allen’s combinations, but Allen landed uppercuts and straight left hands as damage began to show on Lentz’s forehead. Lentz clinched and took Allen down very briefly. Allen stood and escaped from the clinch, but he ate a one-two on the break. Lentz followed up on another combination with a head kick and he continued to press the action as Allen circled on the outside. Allen answered back with an uppercut and a straight left hand and both men landed punches before the bell. 10-9 Lentz.

Round 2:
Lentz pressed the action with a leg kick and a combination early in the second round. Allen countered with jabs and a combination, followed by a head kick. An overhand left also landed for Allen, but Lentz continued to press forward and he clinched. Allen reversed against the cage and backed away, then cracked Lentz with another hard left hand. Allen landed numerous jabs and straight left hands, while a now-bloodied Lentz answered with a leg kick and a brief clinch. Lentz threw punches in close and Allen responded with a knee. Lentz tried for a takedown late in the round and Allen stuffed it. 10-9 Allen.

Round 3:
Both men landed jabs to begin the final round and Lentz bled from multiple cuts around his eyes and nose. A hard left hook landed for Allen and he followed with jab-cross combos. Lentz tried unsuccessfully for a takedown and the fighters battled in a clinch. In the final seconds, Allen landed a hard combination as Lentz pressed forward. 10-9 Allen.

Winner: Arnold Allen by Unanimous Decision (30-27, 29-28, 29-28) after three rounds. He improves to 16-1-0.

 

Justine Kish vs Lucie “Bullet” Pudilova

Round 1:
Jabs and cautious leg kicks were exchanged in the opening 90 seconds and Kish rushed forward with a quick flurry. Both women landed knees to the body in a clinch and Kish rushed in with another lunging one-two. More punches landed for Kish and that led to an exchange of knees in close. Kish remained the aggressor in the final minute and she landed leg kicks and right hands. 10-9 Kish.

Round 2:
The fighters clinched and exchanged knees in round two, with Kish adding in elbow strikes over the top. After a break, Kish landed a head kick and she continued to circle on the outside. Pudilova finally landed a solid counter right cross, but she did not follow up on it. Pudilova began to counter Kish’s forward momentum with leg kicks and jabs. She scored with a one-two in the final minute and closed out the round with kick-punch combos. 10-9 Pudilova.

Round 3:
Kish threw punches from outside of range in round three that came up well short in the final round. She circled around on the outside and darted in and out with punches as Pudilova countered with one-twos. Very little transpired until the final 45 seconds when Kish countered a knee with a trip takedown. She punched from the top and Pudilova countered with elbows from the bottom. Kish took side control just before the bell and landed a handful of punches. 10-9 Kish by a slim margin. Uneventful fight.

Winner: Justine Kish by Unanimous Decision (30-27, 30-27, 30-27) after three rounds. She improves to 7-2-0.

 

Montel “Quik” Jackson vs Felipe “Cabocão” Dias Colares

Round 1:
Colares landed lead left hooks early in the fight and Jackson responded with body kicks and a takedown. Colares worked back to his feet against the cage, but Jackson repeatedly took him down. Colares eventually rolled for a kneebar and then attempted a brief guillotine choke when the fight returned to a clinch battle on the feet. Both men landed knees to the body and Jackson absolutely unloaded with heavy punches in the final minute. Colares somehow stayed on his feet, but Jackson continued to batter him until the bell. 10-8 Jackson.

Round 2:
Jackson floored Colares with a straight left hand to begin round two and he mounted him on the ground. Colares initiated a scramble and nearly took Jackson’s back, but Jackson turned into Colares’s guard again. Colares stood up and jumped into a guillotine choke. He pulled guard with the choke, but Jackson pulled his head free. The fighters stood and Jackson landed knees to the body in a clinch. He slammed Colares down two more times, but gave up his back in the process. On the feet, Colares landed a combination and Jackson rocked him with a counter flurry. More big punches landed for Jackson as Colares propped himself up with the cage. Jackson took Colares down and Colares tried once more for a guillotine choke. 10-9 Jackson.

Round 3:
Colares scored with a spinning back elbow to open the final round, but Jackson clinched. The fighters separated and Jackson stunned Colares with one-twos until Colares clinched and took his back. Jackson defended well and he secured a takedown of his own into side control. Colares scrambled up to his feet and used a seoi nage throw to take Jackson down. He could not keep him there, however, and Jackson scored with hard punches after standing up. In the final 40 seconds, Colares pulled guard with a tight guillotine choke, but Jackson defended well until the bell. 10-9 Jackson.

Winner: Montel Jackson by Unanimous Decision (30-25, 30-26, 30-26) after three rounds. He improves to 9-1-0.

 

Sara McMann vs Lina “Elbow Queen” Länsberg

Round 1:
After an exchange of jabs, McMann took Länsberg down into half-guard. She threw short punches to the body and looked to set up a kimura on Länsberg’s left arm. Länsberg eventually scrambled and tried to get back to her feet, but McMann trapped her in a Brabo choke. She ultimately let it go and worked again for a kimura from top position in side control. Länsberg defended until the bell. 10-9 McMann.

Round 2:
Länsberg landed a body kick and stuffed one takedown attempt in the second round, but McMann maintained a waist lock and got her down seconds later. She worked again from the top in half-guard and punched Länsberg’s body. Länsberg tried to explode out, but she could not escape to her feet. McMann mounted Länsberg late in the round and landed more short punches to the head and body. 10-9 McMann.

Round 3:
McMann quickly took Länsberg down into side control to begin round three and she took Länsberg’s back soon after. McMann threw punches and hammerfists to the sides of Länsberg’s head while keeping her pinned down against the base of the cage. She maintained back control and continued to pepper Länsberg with punches all the way until the end of the fight. 10-9 McMann, if not a 10-8.

Winner: Sara McMann by Unanimous Decision (30-25, 30-26, 30-27) after three rounds. She improves to 12-5-0.

 

Brett “The Pikey” Johns vs Tony Gravely

Round 1:
Johns countered an early spinning back kick with a body kick that knocked Gravely down briefly. He secured a front choke, but Gravely escaped and took Johns down against the base of the cage. Gravely landed knees to Johns’s thigh as the fight returned to the feet and Johns briefly looked for another front choke before taking Gravely down. He transitioned to back control and attempted a standing rear-naked choke as Gravely stood up. Gravely defended, but Johns stayed on his back and continued to hunt for the choke. He mixed in slicing elbow strikes to Gravely’s temple and flattened Gravely out on the ground with one minute remaining in the round. Gravely stood again and he fought off a tight rear-naked choke before the bell. 10-9 Johns.

Round 2:
Gravely stuffed a takedown and landed a series of uppercuts in the opening seconds of round two. Johns attempted a throw, but Gravely rolled through and the fight returned to the feet. Gravely took Johns down into back control, but he soon lost the position and a lengthy scramble followed. Both men took the other’s back repeatedly during the grappling exchange and the fighters eventually battled in a clinch against the cage. With 30 seconds left in the round, punches were exchanged on the feet and Gravely landed a knee to the body. Close round. 10-9 Gravely.

Round 3:
Johns pursued a takedown early in round three, but it was Gravely who took him down with a headlock throw. Johns reversed, however, and took Gravely’s back soon after. He first attempted a rear-naked choke and then punished Gravely with punches after flattening him out. Gravely survived the punches, but Johns locked on one more rear-naked choke and this time Gravely was forced to submit.

Winner: Brett Johns by Submission (Rear-Naked Choke) at 2:53 of round three. He improves to 16-2-0.

 

Herbert “The Blaze” Burns vs Nate “The Train” Landwehr

Round 1:
Burns slipped while throwing an early body kick, but he returned to his feet and used another kick to set up a takedown. Burns immediately locked on a Brabo choke and Landwehr had to act quickly by turning to the side to relieve pressure. He eventually got back to his feet and escaped from the choke. The fighters separated and traded punches, with Landwehr landing a solid combination. Burns countered with a vicious knee strike to the jaw and an unconscious Landwehr collapsed to the canvas.

Winner: Herbert Burns by KO (Knee) at 2:43 of round one. He improves to 10-2-0.
