Rony “Jason” Mariano Bezerra vs Damon “The Leech” Jackson

Round 1:
Bezerra landed a jumping knee early in the fight, but Jackson took him down and landed some hard elbows from the top. Bezerra stood up against the cage, but left his hand on the mat. Jackson inadvertently landed an illegal knee and time was called. Bezerra recovered and action resumed soon after. Jackson took Bezerra back down, but Bezerra locked on a slick triangle armbar from his back. Jackson freed his arm, but Bezerra tightened the triangle choke and Jackson was forced to submit.

Winner: Rony Mariano Bezerra by Submission (Triangle Choke) at 3:31 of round one. He improves to 15-5-0.

 

Jussier “Formiga” da Silva vs Wilson Reis

Round 1:
Da Silva caught an early kick and dumped Reis to the mat. Reis stood and ate a hard one-two on the way up. Da Silva threw right hands and Reis countered with short left hooks. A powerful right hand from Reis knocked da Silva off-balance. He regained his footing and jumped in with a one-two that led to a brief clinch. Reis broke free and the fighters traded looping hooks. Da Silva stuffed a takedown in the final ten seconds. 10-9 da Silva.

Round 2:
Da Silva floored Reis early in with a right hand that appeared to only partially land. Reis’s head bounced off the canvas, but he survived an onslaught of punches from da Silva and reversed position into da Silva’s guard. He struck from the top until da Silva battled back to his feet. Right hooks were exchanged and Reis took da Silva down. Da Silva promptly stood back up and tripped Reis to the mat, but Reis countered with a heel hook attempt. He finished the close round with knees to the thigh in a clinch. 10-9 da Silva.

Round 3:
Reis closed the distance and pinned da Silva against the fence in round three. He landed short left hands and tried for a takedown, but da Silva circled away. Reis scored with a flying knee, but da Silva was unfazed. Reis clinched again, but little transpired and the fighters were soon separated. Right hands landed for both men and da Silva took Reis down into mount. He quickly transitioned to Reis’s back and finished the round with punches. 10-9 da Silva.

Winner: Jussier da Silva by Unanimous Decision (29-28, 29-28, 29-28) after three rounds. He improves to 18-3-0.

 

Nicolas “Sharpshooter” Dalby vs Elizeu “Capoeira” Zaleski dos Santos

Round 1:
Dos Santos landed hard one-two combinations that backed Dalby up in the opening minute of round one. Dalby countered with a takedown and the fighters were stood up soon after. Dos Santos scored with a series of kicks, but he lost his balance while throwing a spinning heel kick and fell to his back. Dalby postured up and looked to land punches, but dos Santos scrambled up to his feet. Dalby dragged him down once more before the bell. 10-9 dos Santos in spite of the takedowns.

Round 2:
Dos Santos scored with more hard punches on the feet in the second round and Dalby answered back with a combination. He took dos Santos down and threw knees to the body after dos Santos regained his footing. Dos Santos broke free and threw flashy kicks. Time was called after he was kneed in the groin in a clinch. The fight continued and dos Santos fired off winging punches that missed their mark. Looping hooks were exchanged and Dalby tried for a late takedown. Another close round. 10-9 dos Santos.

Round 3:
The final round began with dos Santos landing knees as Dalby tried to press forward to clinch. Dos Santos landed a combination and he followed with knees to the body. Dalby reversed position against the cage and worked for a takedown. Dos Santos countered with a sharp elbow strike to the temple, but Dalby dragged him down on his second try. Dos Santos used a kimura to roll into top position. He punched from Dalby’s guard until Dalby kicked him off and stood up. 10-9 dos Santos.

Winner: Nicolas Dalby by Split Decision (29-28, 29-28, 28-29) after three rounds. He improves to 14-0-0.

 

Mirsad Bektic vs Lucas “Mineiro” Martins

Round 1:
Bektic scored a takedown early in the fight and he landed some solid ground and pound that opened a cut below Martins’s left eye and caused his eye to swell shut. Martins tried to stand, but Bektic threw him back down and worked to pass to mount. He took Martins’s back and nearly secured a rear-naked choke in the final seconds of the round, but time expired. 10-9 Bektic.

Round 2:
Bektic dropped Martins with a right hand in round two and he swarmed on Martins with more punches on the mat. Martins covered up and Bektic dropped punch after punch until the bout was waved off.

Winner: Mirsad Bektic by TKO (Punches) at 0:30 of round two. He improves to 10-0-0.

 

Juliana “Ju Thai” de Lima Carneiro vs Ericka Almeida

Round 1:
Almeida lunged forward with a right hand and threw Lima to the mat. The fighters rolled on the ground and Lima countered a headlock from Almeida by trapping her in an inverted triangle choke. A scramble ensued and Lima wound up on top in Almeida’s guard. She landed some solid shots from the top and Almeida tried to set up a submission from her back. She used an armbar to briefly reverse into top position, but Lima initiated a leglock battle and worked from Almeida’s guard again. She punched her way out of another Almeida armbar attempt before the bell. 10-9 Lima.

Round 2:
Lima took Almeida down early in round two and landed a handful of short punches from the top. She pinned Almeida against the base of the cage and threw more punches with her left hand as Almeida looked to set up a triangle choke. Lima stood and dropped a big right hand before settling back into Almeida’s guard. The fighters were stood up and Lima landed knees to the body in a clinch. She tripped Almeida once more before time expired. 10-9 Lima.

Round 3:
Almeida flurried with punches in the final round and the fighters traded right hands. Almeida landed another right hook and Lima responded with a kick-punch combo. A hard right hand snapped Lima’s head back and Almeida remained the aggressor. She pressed forward with more right hands, but Lima countered with front kicks and she took Almeida down. Lima punched from the top until shortly before the final bell. 10-9 Lima.

Winner: Juliana Lima by Unanimous Decision (30-25, 30-27, 30-27) after three rounds. She improves to 8-2-0.

 

Tom “The Octopus” Breese vs Luiz Jorge “Besouro” Dutra Jr.

Round 1:
The fighters clinched in the opening minute and Dutra countered knees from Breese with elbow strikes over the top. Breese continued to throw knees to the body and Dutra answered back with overhand lefts. Breese kicked at Dutra’s lead leg and followed with a body kick. Dutra replied with a quick left hand, but Breese tripped him to the mat. Dutra stood and Breese landed more leg kicks. He floored Dutra with a big left hook and unloaded with more punches on the ground until the fight was stopped.

Winner: Tom Breese by TKO (Punches) at 4:58 of round one. He improves to 8-0-0.
