Myles “The Fury” Jury vs Mike “The Martian” Ricci

Round 1:
Ricci landed kick-punch combos early in the fight and followed with two body kicks. Jury answered back with a head kick and a hard right hand. He attempted another head kick and drove in for a takedown. Jury got Ricci down and Ricci tried to use the cage to stand. Ricci threw elbows and the fighters stood just before the bell. Very close round. 10-9 Jury.

Round 2:
Ricci landed a leg kick and two left hands in the second round. Jury replied with kicks of his own and a pair of winging right hooks. A left cross scored for Ricci and he followed with two stiff jabs. Both men landed body kicks and Jury missed with a looping right hook. Ricci kicked at Jury’s ribs and fought off a takedown attempt. 10-9 Ricci.

Round 3:
Ricci landed a left hook and a quick one-two in the final round. Jury took him down against the cage. Ricci stood and Jury briefly took his back. He got Ricci down once more and the fighters battled for position along the base of the cage. Jury took Ricci’s back again, but Ricci spun into his guard. Jury scrambled and reversed position. Ricci countered with elbows. 10-9 Jury.

Winner: Myles Jury by Split Decision (29-28, 29-28, 28-29) after three rounds. He improves to 13-0-0.

 

Wilson Reis vs “The Pride of El Salvador” Ivan Menjivar

Round 1:
The fighters traded kicks in the opening minute and Menjivar targeted the midsection. Reis kicked at his legs and both men threw combinations. Menjivar secured a Thai clinch and landed three knees. Reis backed up and regained his footing, then landed two leg kicks. More kicks were exchanged and Reis rushed in with a flurry. Menjivar continued to score with body kicks. Reis took him down and landed short elbows. Menjivar punched from his back. Close round. 10-9 Menjivar.

Round 2:
More leg kicks were exchanged in the second round and Reis took Menjivar down. Menjivar scrambled up against the cage and landed an elbow, then backed away. Reis clinched and got him down once more. He elbowed from the top and pressed Menjivar against the base of the cage. Menjivar kicked him off and stood up. 10-9 Reis.

Round 3:
After trading leg kicks with Menjivar in round three, Reis clinched and tried for a takedown. Menjivar countered with a standing guillotine choke, but let it go and Reis got him down. Reis moved to mount and threw punches to the body and head. Menjivar held on from the bottom and scrambled back to full guard. 10-9 Reis.

Winner: Wilson Reis by Unanimous Decision (29-28, 29-28, 29-28) after three rounds. He improves to 17-4-0.

 

Stephen “Wonderboy” Thompson vs Chris “The Menace” Clements

Round 1:
The fight began with side kicks from Thompson and Clements replied with leg kicks. He tripped Thompson with a spinning hook kick to the back leg, but Thompson clinched and scored a takedown against the cage. Clements battled back to his feet and the fighters traded right hooks. Clements slipped badly while throwing a kick and Thompson took advantage by punching from his guard. Clements stood again and Thompson landed a side kick. Clements answered with a jumping switch kick to the body, but Thompson took him down. 10-9 Thompson.

Round 2:
A lead hook kick landed for Thompson early in round two and he rocked Clements with a step-in elbow. Clements fell to the mat and Thompson struck from the top. Clements recovered and got back to his feet. A crushing right hand wobbled Clements and the dazed fighter eventually fell backwards against the cage. Referee John McCarthy stopped the fight.

Winner: Stephen Thompson by KO (Punch) at 1:27 of round two. He improves to 8-1-0.

 

Mitch Gagnon vs Dustin “The Diamond” Kimura

Round 1:
Kimura landed an early flurry and kicked from a distance, but Gagnon bloodied his nose with a combination. Gagnon mixed up his strikes to the body and head and he backed Kimura up with a hard flurry. Kimura recovered and scored with a left hook to the body. A liver shot hurt Gagnon, but he managed to take Kimura down. Kimura attempted a heel hook and Gagnon stood up to escape.

Gagnon dropped two powerful left hands on Kimura’s face and Kimura quickly scrambled back to his feet. Gagnon landed a pair of one-two combos and he began to target the body with left hooks of his own. He pulled half-guard with a guillotine choke and Kimura was rendered unconscious.

Winner: Mitch Gagnon by Technical Submission (Guillotine Choke) at 4:05 of round one. He improves to 10-2-0.

 

John “The Bull” Makdessi vs Renee Forte

Round 1:
Both fighters were very active with kicks in the opening minute and Makdessi scored with a spinning back kick to the body. Makdessi dropped Forte face-first to the canvas with a counter right hook to the temple. The fight was not immediately stopped, so Makdessi unloaded with huge punches on the ground until Forte was out cold.

Winner: John Makdessi by KO (Punches) at 2:01 of round one. He improves to 12-2-0.

 

Michel “Trator” dos Prazeres vs Jesse “The Body Snatcher” Ronson

Round 1:
Prazeres got Ronson down early in the fight and landed short right hands against the cage. Ronson tried to get back to his feet and Prazeres kept him pinned down in side control. Prazeres moved from North-South position to back control and worked for a rear-naked choke. Ronson defended against the choke attempts until the bell, but Prazeres remained in complete control of the fight. 10-8 Prazeres.

Round 2:
Prazeres took Ronson back down early in round two. Ronson stood and Prazeres dragged him down a second time. Ronson escaped to his feet and threw a head kick. Prazeres held him against the cage and both men landed knees. Ronson broke away and landed kicks to the head and body. Ronson stuffed a takedown before the bell. Close round. 10-9 Prazeres.

Round 3:
Ronson landed a flashy uppercut in the final round and Prazeres replied with a right hook. Ronson tried for a head kick and Prazeres landed two big right hands. Ronson defended against a takedown attempt and kicked at Prazeres’s legs. Prazeres stood and both men landed hooks. Prazeres got Ronson down and tried to take his back. Ronson stood and slammed him down, then flurried until the end of the fight. 10-9 Ronson.

Winner: Michel dos Prazeres by Split Decision (29-28, 29-28, 28=29) after three rounds. He improves to 17-1-0.

 

Alex “Bruce Leeroy” Caceres vs “Stunning” Roland Delorme

Round 1:
Caceres landed a spinning backfist early on and ate a left hook counter in return. Caceres scored with a series of one-twos and leg kicks. Delorme dropped him with a left hook and secured a top-side crucifix on the mat, but Caceres scrambled to his back. Delorme escaped and wound up on Caceres’s back.

Delorme worked for a rear-naked choke and flattened Caceres out. Delorme landed punches from the top and briefly held mount. He transitioned to an arm-triangle choke, but Caceres exploded out and rained down elbows. He landed a combination before the bell sounded to end the action-packed round. 10-9 Delorme.

Round 2:
Both fighters landed left hooks in the second round and Caceres followed with a body kick and a one-two. He jumped in with a knee and Delorme answered with two lunging hooks. Caceres took Delorme’s back from a clinch and landed knees to the thigh before the fighters separated. Caceres countered a takedown with a guillotine choke, but Delorme swept into top position.

Back on the feet, Caceres landed a big knee and Delorme tried to take him down. Caceres threw more body kicks and he avoided Delorme’s rushing punches. Delorme finally connected with two right hands and dropped levels for a takedown. Caceres broke free and he just missed with a spinning backfist. Delorme came up short with a one-two at the bell. 10-9 Caceres.

Round 3:
Round three began with an exchange of power punches and Caceres landed more body kicks. A three-punch combo to the body and head landed for Caceres and he followed with an uppercut and a knee. Delorme caught a kick and tried for a takedown, but Caceres stuffed it and took his back. The fight returned to the feet and Caceres threw kicks. He slipped to his back and Delorme punched from the top. 10-9 Caceres.

Winner: Alex Caceres by Split Decision (29-28, 29-28, 28-29) after three rounds. He improves to 9-5-0, 1 NC.

 

Daniel Omielanczuk vs Nandor “The Hun” Guelmino

Round 1:
Both fighters opened with kicks and Omielanczuk targeted the body. He landed a nice left hook and a head kick. The fighters battled in the clinch and a stalemate ensued. Referee Dan Miragliotta separated them and Omielanczuk attempted a takedown. Guelmino pushed Omielanczuk backwards with a front kick to the body. Omielanczuk nearly took Guelmino’s back before time expired. 10-9 Omielanczuk.

Round 2:
Guelmino landed two more front kicks in round two, but Omielanczuk tagged him with a four-punch combo and took him down. Guelmino stood and was promptly tripped again. Guelmino reversed and fought off a kimura attempt. He took Omielanczuk’s back and landed some solid shots. Omielanczuk scrambled and attempted a leglock, but Guelmino stayed on top. He worked from Omielanczuk’s half-guard and landed short elbows until the end of the round. 10-9 Guelmino.

Round 3:
The final round began with an exchange of body kicks and both fighters slowed way down. A clinch followed and knees were exchanged. Neither man could obtain an advantage and the fighters were separated again. More kicks landed for both fighters and Omielanczuk dropped Guelmino with a devastating left hand. The bout was quickly waved off.

Winner: Daniel Omielanczuk by KO (Punch) at 3:18 of round three. He improves to 16-3-1, 1 NC.
