Darren “BC” Uyenoyama vs Norifumi “Kid” Yamamoto

Round 1:
A one-two landed for Yamamoto early on and he kept his distance from the grappler. Yamamoto landed a lunging right hook and circled to the side. Yamamoto threw Uyenoyama to the mat against the cage, but Uyenoyama quickly regained full guard and tried for an armbar. Yamamoto stood and landed a lunging lead uppercut.

Uyenoyama caught a kick and took Yamamoto down, then punched from the top. Yamamoto reversed and the fighters scrambled for position. Uyenoyama took Yamamoto’s back and secured both hooks. He switched to a body triangle and tried for a rear-naked choke. Uyenoyama got the choke and Yamamoto just barely made it to the bell. 10-9 Uyenoyama.

Round 2:
Yamamoto landed a huge left hand in round two that badly cut Uyenoyama’s nose. Uyenoyama immediately began pouring blood from the nose, but he managed to get Yamamoto down. Uyenoyama worked from the top, then took Yamamoto’s back in a scramble. As in round one, Uyenoyama secured a body triangle and tried to set up a rear-naked choke with punches.

Uyenoyama continued to work for the choke and managed to get his arm underneath Yamamoto’s chin, but Yamamoto fought out. Uyenoyama punched to the head and body and prevented Yamamoto from moving with the body triangle. Uyenoyama landed some hard right hands from back control late in the round. 10-9 Uyenoyama.

Round 3:
Yamamoto looked for a flying knee in the final round, but slipped while throwing a kick. He stood and Uyenoyama pulled guard. Uyenoyama kept Yamamoto trapped in rubber guard and prevented him from moving at all. Yamamoto finally escaped and stood, but ate an upkick. Yamamoto landed a left cross and followed with two more. He clinched against the cage and tried for a throw, but Uyenoyama stayed on his feet. The fighters were separated and Yamamoto landed a lead right hook. 10-9 Uyenoyama.

Winner: Darren Uyenoyama by Unanimous Decision (30-26, 30-27, 30-27) after three rounds. He improves to 7-3-0.

 

Robbie “Problems” Peralta vs Mackens “Mack da Menace” Semerzier

Round 1:
Time was called early in the fight after a kick from Semerzier strayed low. Action resumed and Semerzier countered two kicks by clinching and backing Peralta up to the cage. Semerzier threw knees and attempted a takedown. He nearly got Peralta down, but could not. Semerzier caught a kick and floored Peralta with a right hand. Peralta rolled backwards and stood up.

The fighters battled in a clinch again and Semerzier landed more knees. Semerzier remained the aggressor and threw a kick to the upper body. He took Peralta down and stood over him. Semerzier landed right hands and avoided a triangle choke. A big right hand landed for Semerzier before the end of the round. 10-9 Semerzier.

Round 2:
Peralta dropped Semerzier with a right hook and landed follow-up punches in the second round, but Semerzier managed to clinch and briefly tripped him to the mat. Peralta stood and Semerzier clinched. The fighters separated and Semerzier landed a kick to the groin. Action quickly resumed and Peralta landed a right hook.

Semerzier walked Peralta down and landed a lead left hook and a kick to the chest. The fighters clinched briefly and Peralta landed a knee before circling away. He followed with lead right hooks and a body kick. Semerzier answered with a leg kick and both fighters landed left hooks in the final seconds. 10-9 Peralta.

Round 3:
Semerzier began the final round with kicks and Peralta connected with a one-two and a side kick. Peralta landed leg kicks and avoided a right cross counter. The fighters traded one-twos and an accidental headbutt sent Semerzier crashing to the mat. He attempted to hold onto Peralta’s leg, but Peralta unloaded with hammerfists until the fight was stopped. Semerzier was clearly out, but it was a headbutt that did the damage.

Winner: Robbie Peralta by TKO (Punches) at 1:54 of round three. He improves to 16-3-0.

 

Alex “Bruce Leroy” Caceres vs Cole “The Triangle” Escovedo

Round 1:
Caceres landed kicks to the body early in the fight and Escovedo answered with a right hook. Caceres landed a left hook to the body the fighters traded leg kicks. A spinning backfist connected for Caceres and he landed a nice left hand soon after. Escovedo tried for a takedown, but wound up on the bottom and ate a pair of right hands.

Back on the feet, Caceres landed a jumping switch kick and he continued to mix up his strikes. Escovedo threw kicks of his own, but came up short. Escovedo countered a leg kick with a right hand and attempted a head kick. Caceres blocked it and leg kicks landed for both fighters. Escovedo pushed forward with a head kick and a right hand. 10-9 Caceres.

Round 2:
Caceres picked his shots with quick strikes in the second round and backed Escovedo up with a head kick. A three-punch combo to the head and body landed for Caceres and he followed with wild kicks. Escovedo pulled guard and swept, but Caceres sprung back to his feet. Caceres fired off a combination and a grazing head kick.

Escovedo attempted a standing arm-triangle choke and tried to pull Caceres to the mat, but lost the position. Back on the feet, Caceres flurried and landed a standing elbow. A spinning backfist partially landed, but Escovedo was unfazed. Caceres jabbed and landed a one-two and a front kick. 10-9 Caceres.

Round 3:
Caceres opened round three with a side kick to the body, but Escovedo took him down. Caceres attempted a triangle choke and nearly got it, then switched to a Kimura. Caceres locked on an armbar, but Escovedo narrowly managed to escape. Caceres then worked for an omoplata and another triangle choke before the fighters stood. Caceres landed a leg kick and a left hook.

Short right hands connected for both fighters and Caceres landed more kicks. Caceres missed with a body kick and a spinning backfist, but landed a grazing head kick. Escovedo closed the distance and got Caceres down late in the fight. Caceres stood, but Escovedo took his back. Escovedo tried to switch to a triangle choke, but Caceres escaped and the fighters traded punches. 10-9 Caceres.

Winner: Alex Caceres by Unanimous Decision (30-27, 30-27, 30-27) after three rounds. He improves to 6-4-0.

 

Mike Pierce vs Paul “The Gentleman” Bradley

Round 1:
Pierce closed the distance right away and clinched, then landed a left hook on the break. Bradley answered with one of his own and followed with a combination. Pierce looked to clinch again, but Bradley kept him at a distance. Pierce landed a hard right hook that buckled Bradley briefly and he landed two nice leg kicks seconds later.

Bradley flurried with punches and Pierce landed a counter left hook. Bradley threw a Superman Punch and dragged Pierce down. He took back control, but Pierce stood and landed a combination. Both landed knees to the body late. Close round. 10-9 Pierce by a slim margin.

Round 2:
Bradley landed a right hook and a combination early in the second round and Pierce clinched. A left hook landed for Pierce as the fighters separated and he followed up with knees to the body. Pierce tried for a takedown and Bradley stuffed it. Pierce backed away and landed two stiff jabs, then clinched once more.

The fighters continued to trade knees to the body in close and Pierce landed a nice right hook after circling away. Pierce opened cuts on Bradley’s forehead, eyebrow and ear from punches in the clinch, but Bradley landed a combination and just missed with an uppercut. Pierce landed lead hooks and a knee before the bell. 10-9 Pierce.

Round 3:
Both fighters were active with punches in the final round, but Pierce got the better of the exchange. A right hook scored for Pierce, but Bradley immediately answered with a left. The fighters exchanged jabs and Pierce stuffed a takedown. Bradley began to bleed from the cut on his forehead and referee Larry Landless separated the fighters.

Bradley connected with a counter hook and Pierce responded with knees in a clinch. Pierce landed a one-two and a leg kick, but Bradley took him down and tried to take his back. Pierce countered with hammerfists and scrambled to his feet. Pierce scored with a lead uppercut and a left hook before the final bell. 10-9 Pierce.

Winner: Mike Pierce by Split Decision (30-27, 29-28, 28-29) after three rounds. He improves to 13-4-0.

 

Aaron Rosa vs Matt “Luke Duke” Lucas

Round 1:
Lucas clinched early on and briefly dragged Rosa to the mat, then landed a pair of left hands as the fight returned to the feet. The fighters traded punches and Rosa pushed forward with a combination. Lucas clinched once more and Rosa shrugged him off. Rosa landed knees and short uppercuts in close and time was called to replace Lucas’s mouthpiece. Action resumed and both fighters landed punches. Rosa scored with knees in a clinch and Lucas punched over the top. Rosa landed elbows and broke free of the clinch. He connected with punches in the final seconds. 10-9 Rosa.

Round 2:
Lucas scored a takedown in round two after an exchange of strikes, but Rosa quickly returned to his feet. Lucas clinched up again and Rosa countered with elbows. Lucas’s mouthpiece fell out again and time was called to replace it. Rosa attempted a standing Kimura after the restart and escaped the clinch. Lucas landed a right hook, but appeared to be fatigued. Rosa landed a knee to the body and a series of uppercuts. Lucas lost his mouthpiece for a third time and was deducted a point. The fight continued and he took Rosa down. 10-8 Rosa.

Round 3:
The final round began with an exchange of punches and Lucas backed Rosa up to the cage. Rosa landed a nice standing elbow and mixed in knees to the body. Rosa continued to score with knees and uppercuts in close. A knee and a right hook backed Lucas up and Rosa followed with a leg kick. Lucas lost his mouthpiece for a fourth time and Rosa punched away with his free hand. After a break, Rosa continued to batter Lucas with punches to the body and he stuffed a takedown at the bell. 10-9 Rosa.

Winner: Aaron Rosa by Majority Decision (30-26, 30-26, 28-28) after three rounds. He improves to 17-4-0.
