Cholish secured a Thai clinch and landed a series of knees.

Stevens backed away and Cholish landed a leg kick. Stevens attempted a takedown, but Cholish stuffed it and scored a takedown of his own. He landed in side-control and threw knees to the body. He locked on a rear-naked choke, but Salgado managed to escape. Salgado was warned for an illegal reverse headbutt as Gracie maintained back control.

Gracie used short punches to try to set up another choke, but Salgado defended well and avoided danger. Salgado used wrist control to prevent Gracie from securing the choke as time wound down. Salgado eventually spun and trapped Gracie in a side headlock, but Gracie escaped and landed punches at the bell. 10-9 Gracie.

Round 2:
Gracie took Salgado down against the cage in the second round and trapped both of Salgado’s legs as he looked to move to mount. Short punches scored for Gracie and he moved to full mount. Gracie quickly took Salgado’s back and tried to sink in both hooks. He returned to mount and locked on an arm-triangle choke. Salgado refused to submit and was choked unconscious.
