“Slick” Nick Osipczak vs Matt Riddle
Round 1:
An exchange of leg kicks began the fight and Riddle pushed forward with a one-two and clinched. He took Osipczak down and landed elbows from Osipczak’s guard, but Osipczak looked for submissions from his back. An illegal head butt to the body from Riddle resulted in the fight returning to the feet, but Riddle scored another takedown. Osipczak reversed position and worked from mount until just before the bell, stealing the round in the process. 10-9 Osipczak.
Round 2:
Osipczak opened round two with a head kick, but Riddle scored a takedown. Very little transpired on the ground and the fight was stood up. Riddle missed with a one-two and was cracked by a right hook that forced him to shoot in for a takedown. Osipczak defended and pushed Riddle to his back. He landed punches and a handful of elbows from Riddle’s guard. Hard shots scored for Osipczak in the final seconds. 10-9 Osipczak.
Round 3:
Osipczak threw a looping right hook in the final stanza, but Riddle ducked under and scored a takedown. As in round two, little happened and the fight was eventually stood up. Riddle took Osipczak down again and transitioned to his back. Osipczak regained guard and soon swept Riddle, then worked from mount. He landed numerous punches as Riddle desperately tried to escape, and the referee called an end to the fight after a final barrage from Osipczak.
Winner: Nick Osipczak by TKO (Punches) at 3:53 of round three. He improves to 5-0-0.
Dennis Siver vs Paul “Tellys” Kelly
Round 1:
Siver opened the fight strong with a big flurry of punches and a pair of hard left hooks that backed Kelly up. Kelly weathered the storm and looked to clinch, then settled for a front head lock. He landed knees to the legs and body of Siver as the crowd cheered. Siver backed away and began to pick Kelly apart with crisp punches, but Kelly finally managed to score a takedown in the final seconds of the round. 10-9 Siver.
Round 2:
After an exchange of punches in round two, Kelly tried for a takedown. Siver stuffed it and battered Kelly with a pair of quick flurries. More punches followed from Siver as he took control. At the midway point of the round, Siver landed a beautiful spinning back kick to the liver of Kelly and Kelly instantly collapsed to the mat. Siver allowed a badly injured Kelly to feebly stand, then floored him with more punches that ended the fight.
Kelly remained on the ground for quite some time after the fight and was assisted from the cage by his teammates. The liver shot appeared to have done considerable damage.
Winner: Dennis Siver by TKO (Spinning Back Kick & Punches) at 2:53 of round two. He improves to 15-6-0.
Alexander “The Mauler” Gustafsson vs Jared Hamman
Round 1:
Huge bombs were thrown by both fighters in the opening seconds as they each looked for a quick knockout. Hamman connected with a handful of wild right hooks, but Gustafsson fired back with his own. Time was called after an accidental eye poke from Gustafsson and he floored Hamman with a huge right cross immediately after the restart. He landed more punches on the ground until the referee dove in to stop the fight. Big win for Gustafsson in his UFC debut.

Andre Winner vs Roli “The Crazy Cuban” Delgado
Round 1:
Delgado just missed with a head kick to start the fight and Winner taunted him. A big right hook dropped Delgado like a shot and Winner pounced with more punches. Delgado recovered and worked for an armbar, but Winner stood up. Delgado clinched and landed knees to the body, but Winner backed him up with a left cross. He followed with a stiff jab and a huge overhand right that crumpled Delgado to the canvas as the referee jumped in to save him. Good win for Winner, who gets back on-track.
Winner: Andre Winner by KO (Punch) at 3:22 of round one. He improves to 10-3-1.
While the undercard was solid and both Dan Hardy and Michael Bisping put on great shows for the British crowd, the uneventful UFC 105 main event and a lacklustre card at UFC 106 suggest that UFC President Dana White should spend less time criticising Strikeforce and more time improving his own company.
