Four additional matchups have been announced for the upcoming UFC 159: “Jones vs Sonnen” event on April 27th in Newark, New Jersey. Among them is a lightweight bout between veteran contenders Jim Miller and Pat “Bam Bam” Healy, which is expected to be a part of the night’s main card.
The UFC 159 co-main event, as first reported by ESPN.com today, features Michael “The Count” Bisping taking on Alan “The Talent” Belcher at 185 pounds. Other confirmed bouts pit Phil “Mr. Wonderful” Davis against Vinny “Pezao” Magalhães and Roy “Big Country” Nelson against Cheick Kongo.

Amber “The Apex Predator” Stautzenberger picked up her first pro victory in quick and impressive fashion tonight at Dakota Fighting Championships 14: “American Dream” in Fargo, North Dakota. The Texas-based strawweight fighter submitted Summer Artherton with an armbar in just 67 seconds.
Stautzenberger wasted no time in taking her opponent down to the ground. She passed straight to mount and transitioned to the fight-ending armbar. The swift win gets Stautzenberger back on track after she dropped a close decision to “12 Gauge” Paige VanZant in her September professional debut.

Pacific Xtreme Combat will stage its first pro female mixed martial arts bout on March 8th at PXC 36 in Mangilao, Guam, when Invicta FC competitor Kaiyana Rain takes on Hawaiian prospect Kailin Curran. MMARising.com confirmed plans for the 115-pound bout with the promotion on Friday.
