In an announcement that was met with a smattering of boos and otherwise complete indifference from the live TUF 10 Finale crowd tonight, UFC President Dana White revealed that former UFC Light Heavyweight Champions Chuck “The Iceman” Liddell and “The Huntington Beach Bad Boy” Tito Ortiz will serve as coaches for TUF 11 next year.
White, who himself did not seem at all enthusiastic about the idea, appeared uncomfortable and had to be reminded of the weight class (middleweight) that the TUF 11 contestants would be competing at.

The most controversial fighter in mixed martial arts may finally compete inside the Octagon, as world-travelled Gilbert “The Hurricane” Yvel is set to make his UFC debut against rising heavyweight star Junior “Cigano” dos Santos at UFC 108 on January 2nd in Las Vegas.
Yvel, a 13-year veteran of MMA who holds a ridiculous 31 victories by way of knockout, is most famous for his bad boy antics over the years, which has included three disqualification losses for biting, eye gouging and knocking out a referee after an unfavourable ruling.

Ten weeks after announcing his intentions to walk away from mixed martial arts forever in a frustrated blog post on his website, former UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Quinton “Rampage” Jackson plans to return to the UFC to finish out his contract and has announced his intentions to silence critics, including UFC President Dana White.
Further upset from what he felt was selective editing of episodes of The Ultimate Fighter 10, on which he served as a coach, Jackson feels that he was unfairly portrayed and has scores to settle in the company.

The Ultimate Fighting Championship returns to New Jersey for the first time in well over two years at UFC 111 next March and the event will be headlined by a UFC Welterweight Championship bout between champion Georges “Rush” St. Pierre and rising British star Dan “The Outlaw” Hardy.
The bout will mark St. Pierre’s first fight back since suffering a groin injury in his five-round battle with Thiago “Pitbull” Alves at UFC 100 in July, while Hardy is coming off of a huge victory over former top contender Mike “Quick” Swick at UFC 105 on November 14th.
